Great hotel! (We stayed in another 4* and 5* on this trip) our last 4* was very bad!
This hotel Lives up to the stars, we stayed for two weeks and we loved the all the staff, we had other family comer over for 10 days, amazing service, amazing restaurant manager we loved her.
All staff very attentive and friendly, and very good price.
The breakfast is very good and has a variety and a bit for everyone from fruit and salads to omelet and egg station and hot and cold food.
Great rooftop pool and jacuzzi, very clean and opening hours are fab 👌🏻👌🏻
Jakir was really nice and serviced the room everyday.
Shout out to all the restaurant and breakfast staff from the beautiful lady in management to Ahmad and others, we will be back. 🌸🌸🌸

stayed for 3 days and the breakfast was the worst..... not fresh food items and all of it looked bad but dinner was amazing the pizza is a must, the dessert cheese cake didnt taste like anything it was just cream that is it, pool is very dirty... dont drink the breakfast juice the container is dirty some dirt came out when it tried to take some juice.... bed sheets had sweat stain... bath tub had bugs.... mostly dont go there if u wanna have a bad experience

Terrible Experience with Hotel Al Marooj, Muscat – Beware!
Our stay at Hotel Al Marooj turned into a nightmare due to their unprofessional conduct and lack of transparency. Upon arriving with a valid booking confirmation (made through MakeMyTrip), the hotel staff denied having any booking under our name. Despite contacting customer service and confirming the booking through Expedia, the hotel manager claimed that there was an issue with the amount charged and stated they had no partnership with MakeMyTrip.
The Finance Manager, Mr. Khadeer, informed us to pay 20 OMR in cash to check in, assuring us he would email the MakeMyTrip team to cancel our online booking so we could get a refund for the money which we had paid online to Make My Trip. Trusting him, we paid the amount in good faith. However, to date, we are chasing Mr. Khadeer, who has stopped responding. This has left us feeling cheated and deeply frustrated. (Technically we overpaid for the room which is clearly a Scam)
Our biggest regret is not involving the police that day, as we had a valid booking. Instead, we showed full cooperation in the hope of resolving the issue peacefully, but this only backfired.
I strongly advise future travelers to steer clear of this hotel and to double-check their bookings, especially if booking through third-party platforms. This experience was highly stressful and utterly disappointing.

The hotel is really nice. It can be a bit confusing to find the main entrance, but that’s a small downside. Another minor downside is the breakfast. It’s not high quality, but you can get full and there’s something for everyone. However, a big plus for the comfortable bed, cleanliness of the room and bathroom, the friendliness of the staff, and the price!

A reasonably cheap hotel not too far from the airport. The restaurant staff were very friendly, and the buffet food wasn’t bad. We didn’t much enjoy the stay however because firstly our water only ran luke warm, and soon ran out of heat altogether. Secondly, we were randomly woken up at 1:30am by a staff member ringing our doorbell to leave water that we had not requested?! Wrong room, but a silly mistake for hospitality staff.

The room is comfortable and great, the balcony is nice. The reception and employees are kind. I don't like breakfast because it's normal and not variously. Also i don't like parking because too less and no space to park.

Nice and comfy with a swimming pool on the top floor. Great view for the rockies as well as the city. If you get a room on the other side of the hotel facing other buildings nearby be mindful of not only the street noise but also the one coming from the air vents which was kind of disturbing unless you don't mind the continuous humm. Otherwise no complaints, staff was really helpful and friendly, thank you 👍
