Holiday Inn Gdansk - City Centre, an IHG Hotel

I stayed in this hotel with my wife for 4 nights. It is in a central location, great for reaching the city's points of interest. We were enchanted by the view of the river, we enjoyed the sun on the hotel's deckchairs on the street overlooking the river. Very good international breakfast especially for those who appreciate salty food. Peaceful environment even if very popular with tourists.
A really nice experience, a special thanks to the Holiday Inn staff for their kindness and helpfulness.
PS: take the time to visit the Sky Bar and enjoy the amazing city view!

They gave me a key that didn't work properly and I was briefly trapped in a lift. They couldn't give me loyalty program benefits because I booked via a 3rd party site. Otherwise all good.

The hotel is basically in the heart of Gdańsk, making it easy to reach places on foot. There are an extreme range of restaurants, activities, and attractions all around the hotel. Our room offered a breathtaking view of to the river where we got to watch boats sailing by and the city slowly waking to life. The rooms are of high quality, including a tv, minifridge with different beverages and snacks, electrical outlets, free wifi, extremely comfortable beds, and a spectacular system. The hotel staff are all very helpful and committed to lending a hand. Calling down to the reception and room service was easy and convenient, where they helped out a lot with, for example, booking our taxi for the next day.

Very well located hotel in the center just minutes walking distance from the Green gate entrance to the old town, closed to all the bars and restaurants on the waterfront. The room was not too big but had all the amenities and was very clean, the window gave to the inside small courtyard but it was still a light room. The shower room was clean and spacious. They offered also a complimentary drink at the bar per guest which was much appreciated!

The location is perfect, a few minutes walk to the centre. The rooms are clean and modern. The bar area is decent, and there's also a sky bar with a good view of the surrounding area.

My husband and I just got back home to Canada from an AMAZING week in Gdansk! It was a very special trip as it was my husbands first time back to his homeland of Poland since immigrating to Canada 34 years ago! And my first time in Poland. And, we celebrated our 29 wedding anniversary while we were there.
In my opinion, the hotel you choose for any vacation can help you enjoy your vacation better or ruin your vacation.

From the moment we checked in, the reception was amazing! We were treated so well!!

Our room was upgraded because of my husbands status with Holiday Inn (see video included) and staff had left a complimentary dessert in our room for us (twice)!!
The room was quiet, exceptionally clean, and had an amazing view!!! That really made our vacation so nice!!! The housekeeping was perfect too!
The room was really spacious! It had a safe, mini fridge, tv, sofa, iron, comfortable bed and pillows, shampoo (no conditioner but shampoo is very moisturizing so you dont need conditioner and the shampoo smells so good!!), bodywash, and plenty of towels, coffee/tea in the room.. everything you need!!

We were so happy that the hotel is smoke-free and the air was fresh and clean!
The only tiny thing was that our air-conditioning didnt work well BUT theres so many windows with a cross breeze that it was still perfect!

The location of the hotel is the BEST in our opinion. We walked around to every hotel in the area and the Holiday Inn really made the best choice for location. You will absolutely not find a better location.
Infact you wont find a better hotel! Its the newest one, clean and very nice. Its definitely much more nicer than Holiday Inns in North America. This hotel in Gdansk felt like the luxury 5 star hotels in North America. I truly hope it never changes over time and I hope they keep the new feel, and cleanliness.
HOLIDAY INN GDANSK is definitely one of our top favourite hotels in all of our vacations worldwide because of the outstanding customer service, location, and new/clean feel.

We absolutely highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic, clean hotel. Superb location. Professional and helpful staff. Tasty breakfast with a great selection of dishes. Restaurant staff during breakfast very attentive. Highly recommended.

I really loved that hotel. Room was very comfortable and soundproofed. The hotel is brand new but the building is well interested in the city’s landscape.
We would have stayed here our entire stay if they had a sauna / steam room.
Also, they offer mostly queen beds, we preferred to book a twin room to have more space. It was very cold is the room, it’s very disappointing that they do not offer additional blankets. We could have used the heating but it is better to sleep in a cold room both for the quality of the sleep and for the environment as well !

Great hotel for the money, centrally located, seems like it’s fairly new, the rooms were clean and nicely appointed.
