Hotel Artus - Old Town

I arrived in my room and saw that there was old chewing gum on the linen bed linen in two different places. I had to go down to the reception three times to ask for some clean bed linen. At the end I asked the receptionist for a new room because they didn’t have any clean bed linen. In the new room the door couldn’t lock. Either from the inside or from the outside. The light on the lock flashed red and it made a buzzing sound (so you would think it was actually locked but it wasn’t, I could pull the handle down anytime and walk straight into the room). The curtains couldn’t close (the church has very powerful lights at night so it’s not very pleasing to sleep in the room when you can’t close the curtains). They have clearly installed the curtains wrong (see picture). The fridge is disgusting and smells. The shower handle was about to fall out the wall in both rooms. How this is a three-star hotel with nice reviews I still can’t grasp. The location is great for sightseeing and the view of the church is beautiful but bring earplugs because the street is very busy with loud drunk people in the evening and night.
