Sanatorium Muszelka in Kolobrzeg

I am currently in this hotel. We are staying here from Nov. 9 to Nov. 16, 2024. The food is good and the ladies working at the place where we eat are the best. They work very hard, they are alway very accommodating and on top of it they smile all day. These ladies are a pure gold in this place. The cleaning ladies are very nice too. We have treatments that are very good and people who work there are nice. My favourite one is a lady who is doing borowina. I don’t know her name. The problem are lifeguards working at the swimming pool. Maybe they have different names. It I do not know it. I am with a disable sister who has hard time to walk and uses cane. There is no help for her at the swimming pool. There is no any accommodation whatsoever . The cane is slippery when she walks on the water so we have to be very careful. She had 7 surgeries.
We paid extra for aqua fitness. The man who leads the fitness was so rude to us today morning that we left. I went to a manager but he said that he cannot help. I wrote a letter to Prezes/CEO of this place. I am waiting for his reply. I was never humiliated like this in my whole life and I am not a young person. I paid money to come here and paid extra money to have aqua fitness. I will be waiting for a CEO/ Prezes reply. The best lifeguard working at this swimming pool is Konrad. He is great with a great customer service skills. He is attentive, he is interested in his work and he is doing a great job.
I have been a manager in customer service for almost 30 years so I know what I am talking about.
I was so stressed today all day about the aqua fit situation that I could not calm down all day. The aqua fit lifeguard yelled at us in front of the all people that took part in this fitness exercise (how humiliating). There were other issues that I don’t want to even think about.
I will never forget it and I will be very vocal about it. I really would like to hear from the CEO of this company. Wieslawa
PS: we have been too many other places in Kolobrzeg and no one was requesting having a cap on your head. The lifeguard at the morning Aquavit was so crazy about everyone having a cap for the sessions in the morning. This was so crazy that he asked people to leave the Aqua fitness classes if you did not have cap on your head. This man is crazy. I went to two different Uzdrowisko in Kolobrzeg during the same year and no one requested caps. This person needs to go. He damages the enjoyment from Muszelka.
Also, ladies, there must be hidden cameras in the change rooms when you go to the swimming pools because the Aqua fitness instructor knew that we did not wet our hears and he was yelling at us about it. How did he knew that we did not wet our hears??? He watches the room when we ladies take shower and we dress. This is valliation of our rights...This should not be allowed.

Very nice and clean hotel. Polite staff and always helpful. Good location to shops, beach and restaurants.

Downsides - poor Wi-Fi. Didn’t bother using it, stick to cellular connection. No air con in any of the rooms so during summer it’s unbearable. Plus if you have your windows open of a night, the noise from the street will definitely keep you awake that’s if you have a room that overlooks the main walkway.

Spa treatments are a nice addition and not too expensive. Be aware, if you’re English, the language barrier will be a little difficult.
