Plaza Boutique Hotel

Location was fab for transport links and good restaurants within walking distance. Close to a couple of bridges for access to Jewish quarter and old town (1/2 hour walk) Didn’t have breakfast here as it looked a bit mediocre. Room was clean and tended well but snacks from mini bar were never replenished. Toiletries were quite basic and so was the tea/coffee range. Found the pillows quite bulky and not the most comfortable.

Great hotel, staff are brilliant. Very helpful and welcoming. Very knowledgeable on activities. Lent me a plug to use all week with a USB connection on. Breakfast is good choice.

I visited Krakow with my partner for our first time recently and we stayed in the Plaza Boutique Hotel. The hotel is attractive from both the outside and the inside, very clean and tidy and always smelt fresh. Staff at reception were always smiling and were very helpful, we were greeted by somebody each time we opened the door to enter the hotel, which I thought was really kind. They also went out of their way to recommend some experiences on our arrival - however, we had already booked things prior to our arrival, but it was still an appreciated gesture. Two members of staff in particular at reception stood out especially to me, they were both young men with glasses and gave excellent service. The rooms were clean, tidy and spacious. Showers were powerful and warm and the beds were comfortable. The old town was about a 20 minute walk away, however the walk was quite nice as you walked over the river and past more amazing buildings that I’m glad I saw. Also, there was a tram station right outside the hotel which was really useful, especially at the end of the night. The only downsides were that our view wasn’t the best as we were located at the back of the building - however, this is not the hotels fault so can’t complain. The only other thing was that our hotel room door would only lock if the door was really slammed and there was no way of checking that it was actually locked from inside the room once the door was shut, which gave me a bit of anxiety throughout the night. One of the days, we came back from being out and the door was left unlocked by the cleaners. We did not eat the food inside the hotel as we booked room only so cannot comment on that. Overall, the Plaza Boutique is a lovely hotel, ideal to stay in for a city break as it’s away from the noisiness of the old town at night but is still close enough to get there with no issues. We booked last minute for 3 nights & this hotel was excellent it’s in a great position with all of the local sightseeing locations very close by. Trains buses trams are near and easy to use. The hotel is very nice & comfy & very clean, lots of places to eat and drink a short walk away We would recommend this hotel & definitely stay here again

The room was spotless, just as it appeared in the photos. Everything from the iron to the blow dryer was included. It's a 15-20-minute walk from Kazimers and Wavel Castle. You can also take the tram from Krakow Glowny in 20 minutes. There are markets and restaurants in the surrounding area. The hotel was excellent for the price and amenities.

I wish I'd read more reviews on other platforms as what I experienced was common and longstanding. It looked good on paper and was affordable. The first room 107 was at the back with a blocked view and air con that didn't work. After 5 hours a/c at 18 but still at 27 in the room I felt like I was suffocating and got moved (3am). Second room 403 great view but curtains cream. Lit up all night. Then light with dawn. And trams outside along with church bells mean you have to be a great sleeper (I had an eye mask and earplugs but to no avail). All rooms have 2 single beds together and 2 single duvets which I personallydont like. It's definitely not 4*. The location was decent but a schlepp to the old town. Good tram connections.
