Located right off of a train that will take you directly into old town. Near a field and a park that are great for running. Stayed here the weekend of 1st March. Everything about this hotel is wonderful. Staff can not do enough for you, rooms are beautiful, clean and spacious. The hotel in the very center of a city with short walking distance to the main sightseeing and restaurants. Hotel is lovely, in a quiet area away from hussel of city centre with different restaurants located within it. If you want to book trips, you have to find the ones willing to come and collect you and bring you back if required but it's doable. It's a nice 40 minute walk to city centre but there are trams you can catch but we preferred to walk to see as much of the different parts of the city as possible

Great venue with a lot of facilities. Rooms were stunning and cleaning than anything we have seen before. A lot of great restaurant choices. I really enjoyed my stay at Mercure. It is not close to the centre but it is close to the Offices in the new area of town and you can still walk to the centre in about 30-40mins or take a quick bolt car. The free gym is a nice bonus and I didn't fid it too busy even during the "busy times". I have stayed at the Mercure Krakow Stare Miasto several times because it is in an excellent location just opposite the huge Galeria Krakow shopping mall, 5 minutes' walk from the railway station and about a 15 minutes' walk from the Old Town. The no. 3 tram just outside takes you to Kazimierz the historical and popular old Jewish quarter. I had a Privilege room with all amenities which was kept clean...

The rooms are clean and nice and the staff are great. However, the hotel itself is severely lacking in amenities compared to other hotels in the area of a similar price. This is a lovely small boutique hotel in a great, quiet location next to Wawel Castle. A 5 minute walk from the airport bus station and situated on the park. The buffet breakfast was lovely. Stayed at the hotel for three nights in August. I need to sing the highest praises for the hotel's beds. We prefer a soft matress and this hotel had just that. Felt like we were sleeping on a cloud everynight and the bedding was extreamly soft. Often you have hotel sheets that are overstarched but not here. The resturant onsite is fantastic as well with a mix of fusion cusine, heavily leaning on Spanish...

They recommend you expensive parking option. Near by we got better price. Hotel has multiple coffee machines, but they don’t work or work incredibly slow. Made me mad every morning having to deal with that. Hotel has slow elevator, but anyway, to get to room you need to climb stairs. Was uncomfortable to my 75 year aunt and with our luggages.
