Sopot Marriott Resort & Spa in Sopot

We arrived at the hotel around midnight, tired from our journey. We had checked room availability on Booking.com and considered booking online but decided to ask the front desk directly if they had any other room options and to see the rooms in person. The receptionist initially told us there were no rooms available. However, after we mentioned that Booking.com showed several available rooms, she then said that the system was now showing availability. This interaction felt a bit confusing and unwelcoming.

We ended up booking a room for about 1600 PLN for one night. Unfortunately, the breakfast experience didn’t meet our expectations either. While there was a buffet and an option to order omelets, the staff didn’t proactively offer this, and it was difficult to get their attention. Clearing dishes was also an issue, as no one seemed to be available to help with that. We had to place our used plates on nearby empty tables.

Additionally, communication with the front desk staff during the day was a challenge, as they had difficulty understanding English, leading to some frustration when we had questions.

Overall, I believe the service could be significantly improved for the price point, and I would recommend considering other options in the area for better service.
