The borscht was disappointing — it tasted more like beet broth than a hearty soup, and it was served with a meat pastry on the side, which felt like a mismatch rather than a complement. The potato pancakes with goulash were decent, though a side of fresh salad would have made the dish feel more balanced and complete.
One point of confusion came with the drinks. We asked for draft beer in English but were served bottled beer instead. This might have been a language barrier issue, but it still affected the experience.
Overall, there were some okay elements, but the meal didn’t quite meet our expectations.

Really good place to try traditional dishes. The boletus soup was great.

The hotel is lovely in a picturesque street. Staff very helpful. A helpful note to travelers would be to advise that there is no lift but staff happy to help with luggage.

Perfect stay in the heart of the pedestrian street. Rooms are spacious and the restaurant is wonderful. Have a great breakfast, go for a hike, relax in the pool and sauna, have a lovely dinner and drinks on the patio.

Fantastic location in the heart of the buzzy shopping area, set against the backdrop of Tatra mountains. Beautiful verandah and orangery to sit in for dinner and breakfast respectively with gorgeous views. Restaurant staff was lovely and welcoming. Bed was very comfortable and firm but the pillows were odd and very thin. Room was comfortably large enough, some little spots weren’t clean (dust on bed headrest, wall on bathroom) but overall good. Will return for the location and the lovely breakfast

Great stay
We had a great time in zakopane staying in this hotel, everything was very clean, the staff were very helpful, magdalena was brillaint and very helpful with our booking. We stayed in room 302 had lovely views of the mountains and the town. We would definitely stay here again if we return. Thankyou

Dined here for a spot of lunch way back in 2018.
Visiting Zakopane for longer this time and wanted to revisit, the food is still amazing, the staff friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend and will return next time I visit Zakopane ❤️
