They left our lugguage on the deck itself which was risky.
Resort only accessible via boat (free shuttle run by Hotel has to be booked in advance on the Hotel App) or via hike via the monkey trail .
Within the hotel you may or may not need their cart. Good restaurant and breakfast had several Indian vegetarian options too.
Enjoy various activities like Kayaking and Spa and pool.
Rooms are gorgeous and we had a fantastic view. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Particularly loved the yoga session with Rak who had such a great energy and was good at aligning my position where I needed. I’d leave lived to do more yoga with him!
Only downside I’d say is the pricing in all the restaurants for quite average food (we tried 3 of the 4 restaurants) and obligatory service charge - they even add a tip line to each bill despite the service charge already being added, which feels a bit excessive.
The breakfast selection was fantastic, with a wide variety of options that cater to different tastes and preferences.
However, there are a few areas that could be improved. The Jacuzzi, while relaxing, was not warm enough, which was a minor disappointment. Additionally, the Monkey Trail leading to Ao Nang, although scenic, is quite steep and can be exhausting, especially for younger or older guests, as well as the hardworking staff who frequently use it.One suggestion would be for the resort management to consider constructing a more accessible trail across the small cape along the beachfront. This would not only benefit guests of all ages but also the loyal staff who are crucial to the smooth operation of the resort. A direct walking path to Ao Nang would be much more convenient than the long-tail boat option, which is often bumpy and leads to the less significant Nopparat Thara Pier.
Despite these minor issues, Centara Grand is a lovely place to stay, and I would recommend it for those seeking a peaceful retreat in Krabi.
