True, it's uphill, and you can't see the sea from our room.
Wake up with the sunrise streaming through the leaves, but also the monkeys jumping over head.
It’s not quiet here, bring good earplugs, but it’s worth it to be away from the crowds and have the beautiful view from the breakfast table, and a magical sunset from the tiny beach below.
Staff is super friendly and helpful.
Shuttle boat easy to book at any time for 100B.
Rooms super clean.
Bed comfortable (2 mattresses pushed together).
Lots of slopes and stairs as bungalows are all in a steep hillside, meaning everyone has a great view!
- tip to the management: every morning teams were raking leaves for hours. It would be so great if some of this effort could rather be used to clear plastic etc. off the beach and out of the mangrove trees on your beautiful sunset beach making it more usable and a lot more romantic. Then you would have a 5 star rating from me.
Pro:
-nice located appartments/bungalows in the hill beneath a wood even with wildlife
- all clean and sober, no complaint at this front
- stuff is friendly
Con:
- they got a 4 star rating on booking, thats embarrassing
- in contrast to their advertising, there was no WiFi in our room; we were offered to move or walk down to the lobby (we had an appartment most far away from the lobbe; they not seem to use repeaters or similar technical equipment like that)
- depending on location of your room you have to walk a bit; and because of the location in the hill it can be very steep and challenging. Aged 40 we made it, but not without breathing (just want to mention, that this can really be an issue and you should check this beforehand depending on your physical condition
- breakfast was included but…omg…warm foods were bit above room temperature, the untasty juices always at a minimum dispenser level…it looks all so sad…everything looks and feels cheap
- no contact or information in advance (you need a boat from the floating pier or have to do an up and down walk for 20min with all your luggage)
- very loud because of longtailboats cruising all the time…day and night (which is nice to have, but be aware of it, if you are noise sensitive)
To get in there is a little bit difficult but not impossible. If you have a hard time doing step walks don't come here.
The breakfast was ok, nice fruits and eggs.
The staff super friendly.
Not for those who don't like mosquitoes and a good evening walk.
I will go there again. So relax place . No crowed !!!
