Railay Great View Resort

Awesome jungle location!
Wake up with the sunrise streaming through the leaves, but also the monkeys jumping over head.
It’s not quiet here, bring good earplugs, but it’s worth it to be away from the crowds and have the beautiful view from the breakfast table, and a magical sunset from the tiny beach below.
Staff is super friendly and helpful.
Shuttle boat easy to book at any time for 100B.
Rooms super clean.
Bed comfortable (2 mattresses pushed together).
Lots of slopes and stairs as bungalows are all in a steep hillside, meaning everyone has a great view!

- tip to the management: every morning teams were raking leaves for hours. It would be so great if some of this effort could rather be used to clear plastic etc. off the beach and out of the mangrove trees on your beautiful sunset beach making it more usable and a lot more romantic. Then you would have a 5 star rating from me.

The room was nice, the shower sometimes the hot water not working.
To get in there is a little bit difficult but not impossible. If you have a hard time doing step walks don't come here.
The breakfast was ok, nice fruits and eggs.
The staff super friendly.

Highly recommended for everyone who want to relax with nature and quiet and beautiful beach. It’s bungalow and have balcony with beach view. You can see the beach and enjoy from the room. So relax. It was a mouse at night running at night. But we can accept cause it’s inside mountain. When we inform to staffs, the staffs immediately came and cleaned the mouse.
I will go there again. So relax place . No crowed !!!

Great place good pool, absolute perfect service. There were a few steps to our appartment which with a sore knee was a bit strenuous. Great breakfast buffet with almost everything! We forgot our passports in the safe, they sent them to us within two days!! Very good service🙏

Great place to relax away from the crowds at Railay East & West. Beautiful view at breakfast area, so serene. There’s no need to walk all the way to Railay for the ferry, just pay a nominal sum or take the scheduled rides, so it’s very convenient. Rooms are big and clean. The walk up to the rooms are a bit steep so not very safe for elderly or young ones or those with mobility issues. There was no sight of monkeys during our stay. Just don’t bring big luggage and it will be fine. No noise from the boat at all. We all slept very well!

Amazing accommodation surrounded by luscious greenery. The perfect hideaway. The sound from the Long-Tail Boats unfortunately disrupt the peace and it's quite a walk to a swimming beach, but the accommodation's pool and breakfast made up for it.

A little bit of paradise in the middle of the forest. A short walk away from Railay and much more chilled for it. Yes, there is a bit of a climb to get to some of the bungalows but it’s worth it and great if you need to walk off all those Pad Thais😉the view from the rooms, pool, breakfast area fabulous! Highly recommended

We had a wonderful time at this resort, and we couldn’t ask for more.

The location is great, just 10 min walking to the Railay east pier, shops and restaurants and 20 min walking to Railay beach. The resort offers a private taxi boat 3 times per day from Ao Nam Mao pier for only 100 bath per person. This is extremely convenient. The resort is perfect if you want to stay in Railay and visit the islands, but also stay in a quiet and peaceful location away from the crowd.

The room was fantastic, spacious and very clean. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. You have everything you need, including pool towels, flip flops, beach bag and water. The view from the room was stunning, we could see sunrise from our bed and monkeys in the trees outside the room. We opted for a high level room so we had some stairs to do but was feasible. We had NO PROBLEM AT ALL regarding the loudness of the boats at night, despite we read many negative reviews about it and we were a bit worried before the stay. It was the most peaceful stay ever.

The buffet breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. Is served from 7am and you can find everything (fresh fruits, yogurt, freshly prepared eggs, bread, thai food etc).

The service was extremely kind and welcoming, from the ladies at the reception, the staff at the restaurant and the guys helping with the luggages.

Even if we spent little time there, the pool was great. In the middle of the jungle you could spot animals there and just relax.

We could not find any negative thing about this place and I am so glad we booked it for our stay in Railay!
