We had a very enjoyable stay at the SO/ Sofitel Hua Hin. From the moment we arrived, the staff stood out as exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which created a very positive atmosphere throughout our visit.
Our room was beautifully designed and truly impressive. The very high ceilings gave it an open and elegant feeling, and there were many small, thoughtful details that made the room feel special and unique. Throughout the hotel, you can also find many small, cute, and humorous animal decorations, which add charm and character to the entire property.
The hotel offers a wide range of activities. These include table tennis, billiards, basketball, tennis, badminton, a dedicated bicycle course, and many additional activities especially suitable for children. There are also several swimming pools, and overall the hotel conveys a very pleasant and relaxing ambiance.
One area with room for improvement would be the availability of sun loungers with umbrellas directly on the beach. During our stay, there were no sun umbrellas at the beach itself, which could be challenging for guests who are sensitive to the sun and would like to spend more time there. There are other shaded areas within the resort, but none directly on the beach.
I also took part in a complimentary yoga class led by Au. She put a great deal of effort into the session, and it was a very positive experience. Thank you very much for that.
Overall, I can highly recommend this hotel. Great style, friendly staff, and a wonderful stay.

I recently stayed at Sofitel Hua Hin during the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The resort offers a perfect blend of relaxation and entertainment, with a wide range of activities to keep guests engaged throughout the day. One of my favorite aspects was the variety of activities within the resort, which made every moment enjoyable and full of new experiences especially for my two young kids.
Additionally, the complimentary bus service provided to us to Hua Hin city was extremely convenient, allowing for easy access to explore the local attractions without any hassle. The overall atmosphere of the resort was serene and welcoming, making it an ideal getaway for both relaxation and recreation.
I highly recommend Sofitel Hua Hin to anyone looking for a memorable stay in this beautiful area and will definitely consider returning in the future.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Sofitel Hua Hin while hosting a wedding there. I was personally handling the hospitality, and the entire team was incredibly supportive, professional, and attentive throughout the planning and execution.

My family and my dog visit this hotel and stay for a week every year. Room is not totally soundproof, but it is clean. Breakfast is available with plenty of choices. The hotel staffs are very helpful. Most of them are friendly to big dog, and able to recognize her. There are a lot of activities for my dog such as walking around the hotel, playing with other hotel guests and hotel staffs, bird watching, riding in a motorcycle with sidecar, watching her dad swimming, etc. The spa experience is amazing with relaxed atmosphere. I couldn’t possibly mention here all staffs who impress three of us.

We had a wonderful family getaway at SO Sofitel Hua Hin! From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and great with kids.
We were so impressed with the newly opened beach area. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable for a family stay. Our little one especially loved SO Hot wheels Scooter, Wibit Adventure Float and SO Wonderland Adventure Golf, which became our daily highlight. The resort has so many family-friendly activities that we never ran out of things to do.
Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices, and the atmosphere around the l felt peaceful yet fun. It’s the perfect balance of relaxation for parents and excitement for kids.

What an absolutely unprofessional hotel. They dare to call themselves a 5-star hotel? Really?
We paid around 7,500 THB per night, plus an extra 1,500 THB per night for our dog, and this is the kind of service we received?
1. The staff didn’t even know we had a dog?
We were given the wrong building at check-in — fine, mistakes happen — but they promised us a dog bed, toys, and more. Guess what? None of it was provided, except a pack of dog food. That’s it. Just food.
2. The front desk was a disaster.
We arrived at 3:30 PM, and had to wait over 30 minutes just to get into the room.
The staff seemed completely detached, like they had zero understanding of what good service means. We called to ask for two glasses of wine, and they literally just brought us two empty wine glasses. Empty!When we checked out, no one told us that the 2,000 THB deposit was being voided. We clearly told them at check-in to deduct it from our bill, not void it. I had to find out myself during check-out. Completely unprofessional.
3. The beachside restaurant
We ordered the Tuna Tartare — it was disgusting. It tasted like dead fish, and we had to send it back. Even the chef came out to explain that the tuna was “fresh” and that “this is how they cook it,” and then apologized. the dessert (just ice cream and fruit) took over 30 minutes to arrive. Absolutely ridiculous.
( the staff at the White Oven were the only ones who were actually kind and professional.)
4. The room It was so noisy, we could hear people talking and closing doors next to us
On the first day, we told the maid the toilet light was broken. Nothing was fixed.
We called the front desk and asked them to clean the room at 3:00 PM. When we came back at 3:30, no one had come. so I have to call them again. We went to the pool and came back at 4:30 — the maid had just arrived and was cleaning, but she didn’t change the duvet or pillow covers, and didn’t give us new towels. What kind of housekeeping is this?
The only thing that lived up to “5-star” was the spa. That’s it. Absolutely disappointing and not worth the price. Never again
