I love this hotel and the service definitely makes it even more enjoyable. Although the property is a bit old but still acceptable, they got a really nice room and staffs are really nice and friendly. Super helpful! Will definitely come back here again.

Mercure Koh Chang has beautifully designed rooms with a lot of wood. We were upgraded to a spacious pool villa with a super comfortable bed and a jacuzzi and big swimming pool in our private garden. Food in the restaurant is very good and reasonably priced with a good wine selection including an attractive 1+1 promotion. During low season, breakfast is very limited on some days. But there are some alternatives within close walking distance. The beach is quiet and clean and on a bright evening the sunset must be beautiful. Just beware that this resort is not surrounded by nightlife, but if you want to relax and unwind quietly, then it is a good option.

Location very out the way but fine if you want a quiet getaway around the hotel.
Other than that was a terrific experience.the rooms were lovely.
The food from restaurant was amazing.
The staff went above and beyond when I asked for something extra special for me and my girlfriend’s anniversary. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be coming back

Very good hotel. Rooms are very comfortable, staff are very friendly and helpful. Private beach was so peaceful and renting a kayak for about 200-300 bhat for 1 hour was so worth it. Probably the most peace I have ever had in my life. In front of that beach in the sea with no sounds at all. Can’t wait to go back. Recommend the room with view of the sea and swimming pool, comes with a huge bath and a lovely balcony. Great sports channels too, breakfast was very good too. Best to rent a scooter to explore more however the roads are very dangerous and go very high up so it’s not easy to drive back down. You need to have scooter experience and good brakes.

It seems that vacation on such hotel should be excellent, but it's not.
We stayed for 3! weeks and:
Magic bed, extremely good breakfast, amazing territory, beautiful sunset.
1. house keeping at 4 pm. Why is so late?
2. we've left our sandals The North Face on the shore for 3 hours and haven't found it. When we asked reception to help us they only answered: what is your room number? We are 100% sure that cleaner found it but didn't tell us. Or was it hotels' guests?
3. Than the story with dissapearing our photo gadget repeated, but we insisted to return the find to us.
4. Jacuzzi outside isn't worjking at all
5. Massage near the pool was only 3-4 times for 3 weeks
6. Both swimming pools are too hot
7. second swimming pool has no sunbeds
8. very hard and difficult entering the sea
and important thing - all stuff are so so lazy and slow. We tried to check out for 30! minutes.
Unfortunately we dont want to stay here again.

I was staying during Songkarn Festival with my partner. However, the front desk did a lot of mistake (incl her supervisor). They have offered me a promotion then rejected that offer because they was misunderstood. I saw other clients complain about their late check-in because the rooms weren’t ready. Mine also happened the same. During the festival, there was no event at all. It was kinda boring if we didn’t book other activities. The pool was dirty. Facilities in the room (Jacuzzi, shower) was unsteady and shabby. The telephone was working well, but no one pick up the calls (tried to call every related departments to book the beach activity). In the end, I had to call hotel number via my cellphone.
I admire the comfortable of the bed though. Other staffs were nice and agile. But at the package price it costed, the other hotel/resort might be the better options. Overall, I am disappointed.

Me and my wife love this hotel so much. Stayed here at the deluxe sea view room for 2 night’s definitely worth it.
Pros
1) room and bathroom is big & clean. 👍👍👍(Jacuzzi inside the bathroom)
2) bed is so comfortable 👍👍👍
3) quiet
4) service staff is good 👍
5) breakfast large variety 👍👍👍
6) love their high quality shampoo and liquid soap, smells so good)👍👍👍
7) there are Starbucks bar at the beach area but limited selection of drinks.👍
Cons: only dislike is bedside plug only on 1 side. (Hopefully they will improve on this)
Overall I would come back and stay and recommend everyone to come and try it out.

Went for a fresh coconut on the beach.
Many people don't know you can go to every resort even when you do not stay there and have a drink or some food on their usually beautiful beach.
Now I have stayed here before some years ago, very luxurious nice hotel.
A bit far from the lively area but it's called the mercury hideaway for a reason.

This is a great resort. Good service, clean and comfortable. There is a big pool we can enjoy with a sea view. The staff is friendly. It has a great view and design. In the morning we can enjoy breakfast with a fresh view.

The property was in a great location for a relaxing quiet holiday for the family The villa we had was perfect, and great value for what it was The private beach and beach bar set up was paradise to relax Staff were great and very efficient at the bar set up Loved the bean bags. Very friendly and welcoming
Everything but the check in was perfect The staff need much better training at reception. Answering back as the villa was not ready 45 mins after check in. More focused on being right than apologizing and resolving the issue. I didn’t see a western manager on site, but my advice would be to train the reception staff better to be professional.
