Recently stayed for about a week,
Not sure about other tourists but would you prefer an owner with a pessimistic and disrespectful attitude, or an owner whose personality displays the beauty of Thailand and its locals? The owner was often heard yelling down on her employees and customers. Further, the rooms had extremely hard mattresses, one roll of toilet paper, bugs, and geckos. After reading the owners responses, of course you could fix the hard beds with a mattress topper or by asking for more toilet paper, but you really shouldn’t have to. Also you might not want to ask the owner after witnessing how she talks down to her customers and workers. When guests arrive they expect comfortable beds and adequate supplies to enjoy their stay. Lastly, her comments to her paying customers online are egregiously disrespectful and completely unprofessional. I would recommend taking your money elsewhere.

Went for a lil rave there. Night market with plenty of amazing crafts and the music was just on point! Great people, and best of all, no phones allowed on the dancefloor!

I was only during Wednesday Party here, but it was a blast party! Good music! I wasn’t leaving dancefloor!:) amazing vibes and people! Good spot!

An island of Italy on the luxurious shore of Haad Yao. Breakfast with perfect mozzarella and a fantastic lunch: pasta with gorgonzola and carbonara, real Italy on Phangan.
Clean beach, hotel on the first line, great atmosphere of relaxation and vibe of rest and friendliness.
The only minus is very hard mattresses.

We went to check their night market with DJ and electro vibe. It is nice, very hippie place, with quality music. However the owner of the place ( an old French lady) completely freaked out at us and shouted at my wife in a very aggressive way making a scene because we were making a short video of the party. I asked her to stop and not do that but she would continue to scream like what we had done was almost a crime. That s not a very hippie spirit... Regulars told us that she is always like that. Well... we will never see this place nor this lady again that s for sure!

Bungalows are located on a beautiful, quiet beach. Unfortunately the bungalows themselves are not worth being on the beach - they were beyond dirty, with bugs on walls and the sheets were clearly not changed between guests. The showers have enough water to simply rinse off, do not expect to be able to wash your hair. Staff are not available to help and do not expect fresh towels (or toilet paper) throughout your stay. Was super excited to stay here but the bungalows were so gross we left days early. Would not recommend at all.

We vacationed as a family of 4. We took it because there were no places at the High View Hotel. The hotel is strange...
By default, the room is not cleaned; you need to ask for it at the reception every time. The manager is a very friendly and positive elderly woman, apparently she had a good time at hippie festivals in her youth...
When booking, I ordered a "beach view" bungalow, it cost $100 more than the "garden view", but in fact the bungalow was in the second row from the beach. It turned out that in order to be in the first row you had to choose a bungalow “on the beach”. Ok... I am attaching a photo with a view of the beach from the window...
In such hotels you need to take the cheapest room on offer and not expect service at all, then it’s normal... Living like in a village in a shack near the sea.
And there are many newer and modern hotels nearby with empty rooms of a completely different level, 20% more expensive.
On the plus side, inexpensive laundry is 50 baht per kg and the cats that live there and come to the room in the evening to look for food and play, the children were happy with them.

It is a really nice place but…. The Italian owner seames not really care about there guests, she does what she wants, she does not feel approachable at all. There was a super loud techno party in the bar of the resort until 1.30 in the night! There are a lot of family’s with little children, so we totally did not understand this. We really thought this was grazy. The owner did not even inform us about it. So not nice. Also she played loud music at the bar when she wants… So if you like techno parties go to this place!

I have been meaning to write review but have only just got around to it! what can i say!! this is our paradise... we have been visiting Seaboard or 8 years with our family from the UK and everyone talks about how amazing this place is all year around... the kids and adults cannot wait to come back... from the hospitality of lovely Paola and Max, to the spectacular sunsets.. we just cant get enough.. the chilled vibe is exactly what we need after a long winter in London... the rooms are pretty basic but have all that you could need including a lovely balcony/terrace directly on the beach... no shoes required during your stay and the beach is you home...THIS IS PARADISE!
