Nice pool villa and clean This villa is a great find with a lovely pool. It was very clean and well-maintained, which we appreciated. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay. The pool area was especially enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this villa to others.

Really lovely place, everything is top spec and nothing too much h trouble. Excellent staff and the happiest looking crew of anywhere I've ever stayed.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which was awesome, especially the master bathroom was lovely.
The beach itself is across the road and completely unspoilt. No sun loungers to be seen for miles.

We came here with a promotion where you get a 3 night stay for 399USD in exchange for a 90-120 mins presentation on their club membership.

Hotel: staff were all very friendly, you get 2880THB credit where you can decide to spend it on any of the restaurants on premise or on breakfast for 2 every morning during your stay. This hotel is very far from the town center, about 45 mins drive/ride to Phuket city centre. We didn't even go anywhere in the 3 days because we were so lazy. The hotel does offer shuttle buses, at an additional cost which you have to pre-book ahead. In my opinion this vacation club is only suitable for people who like to staycation, or probably parents who wish some alone time where the children have places to go (they have plenty of kids and teenager activities), or family who wish to spend time together. We were offered a 2 bedroom private pool apartment and it is self sufficient. Cleanliness is good, but there are certain small things that don't affect us like all the light dimming switches didn't work at all in our room. Hard to think a 5 star resort THIS expensive has these kinds of minor faults.

The presentation: we got a really understanding sales rep who knew this type of staycation place or vacation club does not match our lifestyle so he wasn't pushy. He was being very professional and we actually had a very good chit chat. The manager came in after we rejected the offer with another offer of 21000 USD for a 30 year plan (only for their hotel in Indonesia, china and Thailand though) I also rejected it. Then we were led to another section for a survey but all in all the staff we met that day were all nice and not pushy. Do take note that the presentation is not in a room where 1 presenter present in front of many people, they have 1 sales rep selling to each couple/family in a small private cushion space. Personally I think those who like this kind of vacation will benefit from this membership but definitely not us. We did notice that most of their vacation places are not located in prime locations but quite a distance from the main tourist attractions, probably because it's a vacation place meant for staycation and relaxing. As a matter of fact, this AVC itself is quite far away from the beach, it's probably a 15-20mins walk in order to see the beach.

Our family stayed at this hotel and I must say that it was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we stepped out of the airport, we were picked up by the hotel staff and from the time we checked in everything was perfect. The whole entire resort is very well maintained and very clean, making it super comfortable for guests. We stayed at the 2 bedroom villas and it is huge, with cooking facilities, washer/dryer as well as a private pool. The facilities around the resort were also great, especially the kids club where daily activities were carefully crafted for all the kids to enjoy. This resort is pretty spread out, but a call for a buggy can sort that out easily. Although the resort only has 1 restaurant, catering for breakfast buffet, lunch, and dinner, the food was pretty good. All of the staff here were really helpful and very hardworking and it made our stay a lot more enjoyable.

There is also a shopping arcade nearby called Turtle Village, where the resort buggy can also bring you to and back to the resort.

Highly recommended, especially for family with kids, if you're looking to relax, away from the busy night life of Patong and other commercialised areas. This resort is located just 15 minutes away from the airport, making it a breeze for transfer, especially with kids.

I love the hotel and especially breakfast and main facilities. Hug swimming pool and sliders for kids. The hotel had arranged many activities for kids also.

There are 2 bedrooms inside with private pool and balcony.

What surprising us was the washing machine and also dryer in the room! Haha
No worry about long stay and wash clothes.

Location are a big far from the center but the hotel itself is sufficient if you just want to stay here all day.

The reception experience upon check in was very disappointing. We arrived late at night and the staff didn't behave very friendly, maybe his English wasn't very good and couldn't communicate, but he stopped us, rejected us with gestures and asked for proof of stay in this hotel. This experience ruined the rest of my stay. After we provided the reservation, he started checking in but felt he wasn’t happy to serve. During the check-in he has not confirm our room type, our durations. He ask us the sign a policy thing without explaiation. of course, i read it myself before signing. Basically there was no introduction to the resort and the surrounding at all or even a map. Anyway, upon arriving at the room he tried to show us around the room and said it was the pool and the room...ok ok...we gave him tips and let him go but then he probably thought he should have said more…What’s more, he took us to the bathroom and continued to introduce that there were cotton buds in the box! isn’t it funny! We had no idea where the breakfast location was or what facilities the resort had. We only found out there was a gym on our last day and wondered how other guests had bikes. Except the reception guy, the rest of team is ok. Great service in the breakfast restaurant, everyone is very friendly and nice, wonderful!! Not recommended their beachside restaurant at all in terms of food, environment and services!

Great hospitality. Comfortable villas. Other than limited food options within that area, anantara is one of the best hotel we always opt for while travelling to Thailand.
