Located on one of the best beaches of Phuket – Mai Khao. Great atmosphere for a relaxing stay. Recommend to all types of tourists.

Location: on the beach of Mai Khao, in the Northwest of Phuket, 15 km from airport, 52 km from the Central part of Patong.
Consists of two 4-storey buildings and twenty-six 1-storey villas.
The hotel has 180 rooms.
Total area: 38 000 m2.
Beach: private sandy beach and adjacent to the public beach 50 m away, the first coastal line. Umbrellas, sunbeds, mattresses, towels – free of charge.

This is the second time we stayed at Renaissance Resort & Spa.
I was asked in marriage here 3 year ago.
My husband and the staff prepared an unforgettable dinner front beach!
The hotel is amazing with impeccably clean rooms.
Breakfast exceptionally good and tasty, served until 11am for late sleepers! At the restaurant, food great too, with a charming view to the sea.
Thanks to V. Pacheco and all the other staff we had a great family time.
Kids (and parentes) are incredibly happy with the kids club, grateful for all activities and experiences they provide to the kids.
We highly recommend it to anyone seeking for relaxing vacations with kids! Yes it’s possible! 🤩

First of all, thanks to Mr.Edman the former Gerneral Manager, regarding the vouchers and this opportunity to stay at this wonderful resort.
Our delux room that we stayed in, was very confy and clean.
The SandBar was great. The service was fantastic and the staff was nice.
At the Spa, they allow us to take pictures there as well.
Morning Breakfast at Loca. wide variety selection of food and was very delicious, but also as a coffee lover, the coffee was just fantastic.
I recognise that this place has recycled the coffee machines and coffee tastes really great.
Unfortunately, i haven't met k. Stephan, probably he had a day off.

Amazing resort with very good service. Food at the resort is top notch everywhere including the breakfast, the cocktails at the pool side restaurant, the pizza and the Thai food. The property is large and open with lots of areas to walk around. The beach is right across a think strip of grass from the resort and very peaceful. the beach is a bit steep and not great for going into the water but quite clean and nice. overall highly recommended.

Came back for the third time and will be back again - for me, the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Lots of hotels have great rooms, great location, nice beaches but I’ve never stayed at any hotel where the service was as outstanding as here. Everyone really does their best to make the stay memorable and convenient, the staff is kind and proactive, making us feel truly welcome. Thank you for the great experience!

We initially booked three nights here, but after our first day, we were so enamored with this hotel that we decided to extend our stay. It truly became our perfect oasis for unwinding and relaxation. The hotel is stunning, with spacious, impeccably clean rooms. The highlight for us was the breakfast – prepared by amazing chefs, the food was incredibly tasty and of exceptional quality. The restaurant's view added to the charm, offering a tranquil and beautiful dining experience.
The staff throughout the hotel were exceptionally kind and attentive, making our stay even more memorable. Their dedication to ensuring guests have everything they need was remarkable.
During our stay, we participated in a delightful bath bomb making activity at the spa, which turned out to be a fun indoor activity during a rainy day. The well-equipped gym, meticulously maintained gardens, and convenient shuttle service to Mai Khao Plaza all added to our enjoyment.
We are incredibly grateful for our experience here and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a truly exceptional getaway.

We love this hotel, service is impeccable, food is delicious, beautiful architecture, the gardens and ponds are pleasant, great ocean front pool, and finally excellent breakfast buffet. The staff deserves 6 stars, they are the best. We highly recommend.

This place has made my 2023 moment one of the most memorable time of my life. We had a great time celebrating my boyfriend's birthday during our stay. Everything we experienced there just made it a perfect stay. We got first impression upon checkin by genuine and friendly hospitality provided by front office and Bell service team. When we arrived to the Villa is when the moment of happiness started. Big thank to K. Vasco, K. Golf K. Gas and all for the welcome card and the birthday set up arrangement. We have really enjoyed it. We love the villa so much. We can jump straight to the pool from the room and enjoy the big bath tub. Love how it's designed and the bed is so soft and comfy. The resort ambience is very romantic. We enjoyed the breathtaking sunset and the peaceful tranquil vibe, dinner was great and love the breakfast. I wish i could stayed there forever. Would definitely come back :)

Unfortunately not a 5 star standard as expected.
We were a family of 6 in the 3 bedroom villa and unfortunately had to realize that the price does not meet the standard as in the photos and videos. The rooms are getting in the years were renovations would be highly necessary. The 3 bedrooms were not open together like offered in the internet, a ugly chipboard was simply attached between the apartments. We came here especially to be together as a family and not separated.
There is also a huge lack of attention to detail for a 5 star hotel. There was never any fruit in the room, or were any little treats for that we spent so much money on these rooms.
The alcoholic drinks in the sandbox bar are not recommended, it's sugar water. Otherwise the restaurant is very nice and the food is good.
There was nothing to complain about at breakfast, it is very varied and very well prepared. There are also no waiting times and always a place to sit.
The gym has a 5 star standard for this.
Activities and entertainment are a bit sparse and are not actively offered to the guests.
The staff is extremely friendly and is unfortunately innocent, because to put it in a nutshell, there is a lack of the management that does not take care of the further training of the staff to bring it up to 5 stars!
So if you expect a 5 star standard, I do not recommend it to be honest. It was an ok stay and in the end we are relaxed , but we’re used to much better for this high price.

I liked the hotel. Not big. Quiet, cozy, clean, tasty) The breakfasts are amazing! The beach is almost wild. The sea is immediately deep. With children it’s better to go to another Hotel) There are no strangers. Walking along the beach line, you may not meet anyone))) Service is good. Many people like massage on the beach. We had lunch and dinner not only in our Hotel’s restaurants, but also in Marriott and Sala. Everything was decent. We didn’t like the main restaurant for dinner (where breakfast is held) So we dined in others.

I booked a private pool villa. Why do you book it? To have some more time at your villa, pool etc… but it was not possible due to next door villa’s construction. Despite my warnings nothing has changed. Do not book any villa here… we spent most of our time at the beach. Why you should pay more money??? Standard rooms are large as well.
Regarding management: due to my flight, after 8 days of stay, I asked about to keep room up to 6 hours more. If I was told that there is no availability: it would be fine. But I was told that the price is 15.000 Baht. Which is the price of the room. I said that I’m not going to stay at night. And there will be no cleaning etc; why do you ask such a great amount; it was said that this is the price. Frankly I could not bear the situation; and said that I was already absorbing the construction (yes it is a real construction with all possible noises) but this is too much and very disappointed; the manager said that he has another price for me! Lower… and this is a corporate hotel chain? Do we bargain the price? I’m terrible disappointed. The money is it a problem; I have already paid huge amount for this noisy villa:)) the problem is the approach and seeing the guest, not as a guest but a customer, a cash register…
It was my 2nd stay at this hotel: there will be no third!!!!! Definitely!
Regarding stay: staff is great. They are very kind and pretty. Except the situation that I faced at the reception on my last night
