New hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. Good breakfasts. Perfect for those who rent a car and move on their own. The hotel is more suitable for business trips and mainly to spend the night. There is free transport to the beach. It is far away on foot, there is no infrastructure, but it is very quiet and deserted, a great option to take a break from the hustle and bustle.

We enjoyed the long Mai Khao beach walk with peaceful environment and a lovely sunset during the happy hour from the bar. The hotel has 3 large swimming pools, perfect for all ages, group of friends and families. Some hotel rooms need maintenance attention especially the noise of the A/C. Were at the hotel D Varee Mai Khao Beach in early July 2018, the room was on the 1st floor with access to the pool. I liked the general atmosphere in this establishment, very nice and welcoming staff plus relative close proximity to the airport. Nice beach less than a minute walk from the hotel, although the beach was littered with trash which came with the waves from the ocean which sad because the area is very nice otherwise.
