Marriott's Mai Khao Beach - Phuket

An exceptional experience! The service at this property is top-notch, from the friendly and efficient front desk staff to the diligent chambermaids. Every staff member we encountered demonstrated a commitment to excellence and a genuine desire to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The property itself is well maintained, with immaculate grounds and facilities. Kudos to the Marriott Beach Club team for creating a truly welcoming and relaxing environment. We look forward to returning!

One of the best holidays I’ve had so far. Excellent resort, amazingly warm staff and mind blowing amenities. Never wanted to end the holiday. A few days of my life to cherish forever.

It's located in the most photogenic beaches in Phuket, best location for a photoshoot.
Many good restaurants in and around the resort.
It had great facilities, and a child friendly resort.

It's a different world altogether. Nice place to relax , enjoy the beach , kids friendly. But if it's your first time to Phuket this place is far off from main attractions.
If you want a relaxed escape it's an amazing place to stay.

Lovely place for a family vacation. Long beach stretch. Suggest renting a car if you don't want to be eating exclusively at the resorts.

Mai Khao Beach is a bit far from anywhere else, so don't stay here if you want to spend a lot of time in Phuket town or Patong beach area.

Our go to property for a vacation in Phuket. Just about 15-20 minutes from the airport. We pick up our vehicle at the airport and drive in. We have been returning here for many years and our children can probably walk around blindfolded. From the well managed kids club to the restaurants, there is nothing to complain about. As always the meet and greet is spot on and we end up coming in early due to flights. The lobby area is huge and spacious and open and we have always found a spot to chill out at while waiting for our rooms. The staff make a huge effort to get us our rooms for an early check in. The children usually push off to use one of the many pools on site. The Vacation Club apartments are huge and fabulously appointed. The property is on the beach and sunset is always stunning. We usually hang out at the pool bar or go for long walks on the beach followed by both in house as well as beachside massages (by local folks). The gym is conveniently located with all the equipment you could wish for and a sauna/plunge pool and more. The hotel has various shuttle options into town but we prefer to drive ourselves around. A better feel of the area! We are so spoilt here and use this as the benchmark whenever we visit other MVC properties around the world.

Thsese reviews are so true. First we were worried about weather. The forecasts were all rain but we’ve hardly had any. Second this place is quiet and secluded and lush. Beautiful pools incredible service and wonderful concierge Oy among others. Rooms are great, water and coffee and laundry detergent all supplied. Supermarket a walk away. The hotel and vacation club are fully integrated but very low key if you stay away from the convention center in back. We ate at Gin Ja on property which was excellent but a few nice nearby restaurants if you don’t want to pay NYC prices for dinner. Just remember you are 1-11/2 hours from Phuket Old Town and Big Budda and Patong Beach. The traffic on the island is horrendous much of the time. This is the nicest vacation club I’ve been to.

A peaceful environment and attentive service. Enjoyed the stay. Happy hour varies with the different bars. Enjoy the one at the pool that starts at 4-5pm, followed by another 6-7pm and then 9-10pm!!!!

This property is quite nice, with an excellent Thai restaurant on site, in addition to many others. It is attached to the JW Marriott which it shares the grounds with. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa for a week using an Interval trade, which is a good value. The beach is one of the better in Thailand, and the grounds have that Hawaii resort feel. Only drawback is you are very far away from Phuket’s main attractions and popular beach areas. A car isn’t necessary, but we were happy we had one so we could explore the island. If your Bonvoy platinum or above just know the breakfast isn’t going to be free since it is a Marriott timeshare property. The best side for couples is the far north end, which is quiet and has an expansive adults only pool with attentive bar staff. This is one of the only interval trades I’d actually return too, and would consider staying for a few weeks to a month. There is a higher end outdoor mall nearby with some OK restaurants, and a small grocery store.
