The Cove Phi Phi

We have one of our best traveling experiences here at the cove. We even thought about buying their working shirt as souvenir if they sell it.

Amazing view and place. The resturant is not very good. So you go to enjoy the location and rooms and beach. It’s very private

The view was awesome. The room was clean the food was tasty and reasonably priced.

This place is so peaceful great views although some of the passing boats can be quite noisy. We stayed in the ocean cliff view villa which was beautiful great size very clean. Make sure you bring a good book as there is no tv and the restaurant/ reception closes at 21.00. There is a steep walk up to the cliff view villas I quite liked it but it might not be ideal for everyone. There is no room service and only one restaurant they sometimes run out of some items, the spring rolls were our favourite one of the best in Thailand. The staff really made the trip so warm and welcoming. The only letdown is the beach is so rocky and not great for swimming, there are no sun loungers only plastic chairs or they provide bamboo mats to lay on but there are ants around and no beach towels provided. We enjoyed our stay but 2 days is probably enough.

This will be my second time staying at the cove in recent years. It’s a great location to enjoy peace and tranquillity away from the busy phi phi town. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. Taxi boats can become quite expensive if you stay in town all day and want to return to the hotel at night but the hotel does offer a cheaper shuttle two times a day into town. If it rains though there really isn’t much to do.

Definitely a couples hotel. We stayed in the cove villas which was absolutely unreal, it’s a shame it’s only boat to get there however it was only a 10 min journey to the tonsai pier and they offer free shuttle which was fab! Becareful when swimming as there are a lot of sea urchins there

Amazing secluded hotel! We had the cliff villa .. view was unreal. Room was tidy.. outdoor type bathroom! Food was amazing , cocktails were amazing ..
only qualm is that it’s so secluded and being out first time on the island we wanted to see the hustle and bustle .. so we cut it short and booked another hotel.. to no fault of the cove!
Great for a get away from everything and be isolated from the outside world! They do offer boat services to and from the main town! Can’t fault the hotel what so ever

The hotel is fine if you are prepared for the following:
-it’s in the middle of nowhere, you can only get there by boat (hotel offers a free pickup/drop-off from the pier at certain times), at other times it will be costly to rent a boat to get you to the hotel
This is what many reviews complain about, but this is exactly its strength, by being remote you get a great empty private beach!
Only criticism: the free breakfast is very mediocre and could be improved.
