Mama Beach Residence- SHA Certified Hotel

Perfect boutique hotel. We had room C5 which was third floor with a great ocean view. Staff is great. Hotel is adorable. Has its own beach area with loungers and a bar right on the beach. The room is clean with a balcony and amazing view. Something to note is that the bathroom is kind of indoor/outdoor, it has a roof and partial walls but there is a large open window with curtains. We loved it but I recognize that may not be for some people. This was 10 min walk into the main area and is at the end of the beach so it is quieter and has a more relaxed feel. Staff was all amazing. 10/10

Had a wonderful stay at the amazing Mama Beach Residence. The room was perfect for us as it was located directly on the beach front. The rooms were a bit small but very quaint. The staff were absolutely fantastic. They could not do enough for you. I put a present in the wrong bag and threw it out. The staff were only too helpful to go through the rubbish and find it even though i said it was ok. The food was not the best but the location more than made up for it. Saying that, the breakfast was ok with something for everyone. The island itself is becoming more westernised but don’t let that stop you for visiting.

This is our second visit to Mamas and we will return again. The resort is amazing: clean rooms, great sea views, kind and helpful staff and delicious breakfast. They have also a beach bar and private beach that offers privacy and relaxation on the Island.

We have stayed on both sides of the island and I prefer this side. It is about a 10 minute walk to the main area of restaurants etc but having a basically private beach is worth it! You can use their beach lounges and little shaded seating but free of charge. Where as the rest of the beach, they cost. Rooms are standard and our shower is kind of outdoors but still would rate our stay a 10/10 and would stay here again! The massages are also super cheap even though they are the hotels masseuses. The walk into the town has the best smoothie hut along the way too!

Amazing stay at Mama beach for just 1 night, we had a seaview room and a garden room and the standard of both rooms was 1st class. The hotel is in a great location (end of the main beach with easy walk into the main centre plus direct beach access, breakfast was lovely and we would definitely return.

Mama beach is at the quieter end of the Island, but within a very short walk of the centre with all the restaurants and shops. For us this was perfect. The islands can get very busy and to have this quieter corner allowed us to get away from this and really enjoy the paradise Phi Phi can be. The rooms were excellent, always clean and with beautiful balcony views over the beach and sea. Breakfast was superb and the snack bar was very handy during the day. As always in this area of the world, the staff were amazing. Polite, helpful and always available.

2nd stay at Mama Beach and it just gets better. Angelo the owner takes pride in every aspect and takes time to talk to his guests. The Staff are so friendly and attentive, always happy which is so nice to see. The breakfasts are the best in Thailand , freshly made to order along with the most perfect view. I had an exceptional stay at this hotel! From check-in to check-out, everything was flawless. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive, making me feel right at home. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I could possibly need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. I also loved the on-site facilities, especially the [mention specific feature, like pool, restaurant etc.]. The location was perfect, close to all major attractions and public transport. I can't recommend this hotel enough – it truly exceeded all my expectations. I will definitely be returning!

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. The team is extremely friendly even by Thai standards.

We had a Garden view room out the back. The room featured new, powerful and silent AirCons as well as a large balcony with light, a fan and a hollywood swing. The room was small but functional and I loved the smell of the soaps (Jasmine, brown sugar and coffee) the had. A little improvement would have been an extra hand towel.

The minibar is priced very closely to the closest 7-11 so you can have a beer or a soda in the evening without having to run to the store again.

They offer a shallow pool (like 50cm) including a whirlpool function in their beautiful garden.
The true star of the show is the private beach, though. Incredebly beautiful with white sand, clear water and a huge cliff right next to it, as well as a bunch of loungers. The locations is much more quiet than the beach close to the pier.

They also offer a large french breakfast buffet with intricate delicacies you normally would't find outside of france.

All in all a hidden gem with lovely staff and a location that is out of this world. Would 110% recommend.
