One Resort Aqua Park

Writing this review with some tips for others I wished I’d known before going. It’s the 2nd time we’ve been, the first being in 2022. Standards have definitely slipped since the first time we went but overall I would recommend going. Tips - 1. Take your own cup/mug/large glass - the plastic cups are TINY plus 99% of them are damaged from being kicked around on the floor. They aren’t cleaned properly either. A thermal bottle to keep drinks cold is a must! Ice is very sparse even at the bars so drinks go warm very quickly. If you want a large glass whilst you’re there you have to tip the bar staff & request one but again they are rare to find. 2. Alcohol choice is VERY limited (local lager, rose/white wine only at the pool bar…I don’t know why!), there is local spirits available at the lounge bar by reception & the beach bar but that’s it. Lounge bar serves 3 cocktails. So if you want a drink I’d take your own. 3. If you require a plug next to your bed for say medical equipment you need to request a family room. 4. When you check in ask for a 2nd key card to leave in room - this keeps the electric on. Otherwise the fridge goes off, air con etc. 5. Tip your cleaner if you want the air con left on 6. If you exchange money to dinar remember it is illegal to take it out of the country. You will be stopped & asked at the airport. I saw two young girls have at least £70-100 taken off them in dinar. 7. Take English money with you, they love it out there! If you buy anything you will get major discount if using our notes £££. 8. Pack your own snacks & cordial (those little squirty juice are a god send). There is a shop on site but it’s quite pricey. 9. If you have a fussy eater the food is very limited. Chicken nuggets are available each day, chips can be located at the far end of the main restaurant (down the stairs & head out towards the beach). I got asked a few times ‘where’s the chips’. Pizza is also located here but the cheese is very runny. 10. Fresh pancakes everyday at 3.30 at the burger bar near the slides - delicious! 11. If you order from the snack bar & want a whole pizza you need to ask for a ‘hot pizza’. The ‘cheese toast’ is a crusty baguette with cheese, lettuce & tomato. 12. Take your own pool inflatables. 13. I ordered a silver ring from the guy that walks round & I can confirm it is silver & hasn’t gone green etc. 14. This resort is quite spread out so if anyone has mobility issues it can be quite difficult as there are no benches in between. 15. Like with most resorts sunbeds get ‘reserved’ early so be prepared. The entertainment staff are amazing & work extremely hard everyday. The fire show was fantastic! The kids club is also excellent. The rooms are clean as are the resort grounds. The pools & slides are great & the top reason we booked. There is a lot of French, German & other foreign national guests some of which we found VERY rude but this can happen anywhere. Since the moment we arrived we got treated as if we have been there multiple times before the entertainment team got everyone involved no matter what always with a smile no issue at all enjoyed soo much we are returning in October

This hotel was amazing we had the best holiday. The staff were amazing they always went above and beyond from the kitchen staff, cleaners, chefs and the waiters around the pool. The by far best thing is the animation team they make friends with you and always come to say hello. We had many funny times and activities with all the staff who knew our name on a personal level. A BIG THANK YOU to the team as our holiday would not have been the same without you all. We will definitely be back next year !!!! X

Had the best time. Stayed 2 weeks and have to give a big shout out to our favourite entertainer Lorenzo, favourite barmen Aymen and Ahman Thank you to all the staff who couldn’t do enough for us. All the entertainment was brilliant and kept us all smiling and laughing day and night. Highly recommend booking here and we will certainly be back

Food was good and there was plenty to choose from. The chefs were brilliant and remembered my daily omelette. The entertainment team were superb, especially Big Bob, Mo Mo, Zico and Jackson. Thank you From Mandy and Antony Along with their children. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nice clean room everything you need and want. Friendly staff go above and beyond. Highly recommend wouldn’t change anything and will book again for me and family We really enjoyed the entertainment it was fun and the staff are respectful ..

I’ve only one moan about this hotel… on arrival we were hit with a £100 tourist tax.. The hotel was clean, you could always see someone cleaning somewhere. Rooms were lovely little bungalows but could do with few more plug sockets. Food in the restaurant was great, there was something for everyone with additional pasta bar and burger bar close to the pool. Drinks were ok, I only drank beer, wife drank cocktails that could been better but were ok. Shop on site was little expensive but that’s what you expect on a site where there’s nothing to do in the area. We tipped a couple of the barmen and a waiter in the restaurant at the start of our holiday and again at the end. The waiter had a table set up and reserved for us every evening and the barmen couldn’t bring us enough drinks. NOW… THE ANIMATION TEAM WHERE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! They worked tirelessly to make our holiday one to remember. By far the best animation team I’ve come across. They engaged with everyone, and were always smiling. You could tell they were best of friends and having fun themselves whilst trying to keep everyone entertained. Stam the fitness coach took myself and another guest to watch his local football team Monastir. Great experience!! Evening entertainment was fantastic. Great pool foam party on one of our days. Overall excellent atmosphere and lovely people. Thank you for a great holiday.

I'm writing this by the pool before we fly home tonight. It was our first trip to Tunisia for my husband, my son (10) and myself and we have had an amazing time. It's fair to say that we decided to come back next year within 24hrs of being here. The hotel is vast and well maintained by an amazing group of staff. A big shout out to Mario in the entertainment team. Your amazing and work so hard at building a bond with the guests. The whole entertainment team work so hard and their effort and enthusiasm is a real credit to the hotel. Our waiter Jeune was a total star and even had our drinks waiting for us at our table every night. Even our room cleaner put some flowers in our room. All the staff we met were so friendly and helpful. A big thumbs up for the spa as well. I had 4 spa treatments over 2.5hrs for about £70. That was an absolute bargin. The food was outstanding in the main restaurant and there was always a massive selection. I would say that i wasn't a fan of the burger bar by the waterslides. We also went on a number of excursions during our 10 day stay and I would really recommend doing some as you see so many different sides to Tunsia that way. In terms of shopping, the cheapest place we found for souvenirs was actually at the zoo, everywhere else you really need to haggle. Thanks for an amazing introduction to Tunisia One Resort. We will be back May 2026.

Has the best time at One Resort in Monastir. The staff can't do enough for you, great activities and lovely food and drink. The bungalows were spotless, the entertainment was great. Couldn't fault it and would definitely recommend One resort and would go back tomorrow. Ali Baba for all your excursion needs. Had three great mornings on the pirate ship, quads and camels we was well looked after. Enjoy your holiday at One resort, you'll have a ball x
