Skanes Family Resort

Today i came back from skanes family resort . I would recommend this place . This hotel has te niciest people. Animators are the best they have a lot of energy and they want to talk with you and they know how to joke. Lifeguards are also nice and friendly. We have been joking everyday. I love barmans from the bar on the pool with slides. They have very hard work but they are always smiling and joking with you. People here are amazing!!! FOOD I wasnt expecting that the food would be that good. Everyday different Fish, good pizza, fries , cakes. One day was sushi. Soups are also good. You would not be dissapoint by the food. ROOMS Rooms are okay, nice view , i dont pay a lot of attention to rooms so for me it was okay. It was clean. POOL Pool is also clean and safe. On the slide is a lot of fun but THE SLIDES NEEDS A RENOVATION!!! really the stairs also need this beacuse i didnt feel safe. On the slides is a lot of protruding elements. DRINKS Drinks are tasty i think strong also. Enterteinment Animators are organizing a lot of Dances like zumba , Aqua Gym. We had a piana party at the beach . You would not be bored really. Everyday at 20:30 is mini disco for kids and at 21:30 is show time like dances or Cabaret, it depend of the day. BEACH Beach is nice but not WOW. Be carefull and Watch out of jellyfish. At the beach you can buy ride on Jetski. If you want a towels to the pool or beach you can take them but in the deposit. IF you want go for a walk to the city better take a taxi or bus beacuse theres nothing here . The city is about 10 kilometers from here. I Think i will choose this hotel again when i will want to go to Tunisia again.

Firstly, read some mixed reviews after booking & prior to departure but it’s safe to say, Unless you’re expecting Dubai, Maldives, Santorini, Sicily (you get the idea) then you’ll have a good time. The hotel sits looking akin to what you would expect in Tunisia. A little dated but we knew that before arriving. Outside the hotel there is little to see. You can take a local train (station is directly outside the hotel) to either Monastir or Sousse for less than 1 DHA (less than 25p) to shop, access other beaches, eat, drink etc. Otherwise you’ll spend your time in the resort. Inside there is much to do. The food and restaurants are excellent, range of food fine for 10 nights. Clean, fresh, varied and themed each night. The pools (lively and quiet) are fantastic, sunbeds easily accessed if you are up by 8am. Lifeguards a plenty. Animation team is sensational. Hard working, ultra friendly, go above and beyond the entire day and night. A really close knit team. Ali Baba is on hand for trips and visits. Choice of 3 popular trips. Good value for money, proper salesman. £30 for a half day trip per person. Special word of note for Ali & Omar in the restaurants. Both outstanding. And also to Momo & Madi in the animation team. Madi came and sat for 40mins, intelligent, knowledgable & full of ambition.

We are here now the staff are fantastic the animation team is amazing especially Chacha will definitely be coming back. Food is amazing hotel is very clean and definitely worth doing photoshoot

depth review from our perspective. Family of 3 - Two teachers and a 14yr old daughter. First time in Tunisia and absolutely loved every minute of it. Such a good - clean place. Our holiday just flowed so easily. Transfer - We went for a private taxi this time around and worth it. Arrived before the coach which meant our check in was very smooth Check in - Easy and straight forward - opportunity to exchange money. They bring your cases to your room (be prepared to tip). This was probably our first and only interaction with the reception staff for two weeks. Rooms - Ours was bit dated but very spacious. (This is due to be upgraded). Didn’t really use the room that often. Room in the lows 1000s are opposite the amphitheater so quite loud until 10.30/10.45 in the evening. The mini bar isn’t restocked but if you tip the waiters in reception bar they will offer you drinks to take back to your room. The coffee isn’t restocked in the room but you can get extra stuff from the restaurants. Toilet separate to the shower and sink which we quite liked. Cleaned every day by an awesome cleaning team. Staff - We had nothing but good experiences with the hotel staff. They are fabulous. THE ANIMATION TEAM ARE QUALITY. They work so hard and are so engaging. Lots of sport activities on offer as well as fitness stuff. Special mention to Mahdi, Chris (Faraz) and Sam who my daughter probably engaged with the most. The team make you laugh and constantly available to make your stay enjoyable. No animation on a Monday but every other day jammed from 10am to 5pm with evening activities at the amphitheater and pool bar. Foam party each Weds at 3 and a beach party once every two wks. Restaurants - Breakfast in one place and lots of selection. Breads, croissants etc. Selection of hot food and omelettes made to order. As well as cold stuff and cereals. Lunch - Three places really. The main restaurant- has a wide selection of food available. The beach restaurant- gets very busy but lovely views. Pasta, pizza, burger, shawarma, nuggets all with chips. Sandwich bar - baguettes filled with ham, cheese or salami - the Tunisian one is quite spicy. Drinks all great - lager nice. Evening meal - there is the a la carte which is nice to book through guest relations. Yasmine was fab. Choice of foods - really good. Other venue is the main restaurant- always lots of variety (even for maybe fussy eaters). Very busy between 7.30 and 8 so try and plan your times. We went at 7 and worked a treat each night. Tip the waiters if you want a window seat. Pools - Two - they call one a relax and this is where we stayed the whole of our stay. Great views of the beach and sea. Beds here are easily available upto around 7.30 with the odds one still available at 8. My eyes go awake at 6.15/6.30 so always down early and hardly any taken. Great part of the day. The other pool is where the slides and entertainment are based. Slides open 10-12 and 3-5 - good to pass time although they may be

Had a week here this July for a large - 22 people - 'last' family holiday before kids and adults alike go their own ways. Whilst yes the hotel feels a little outdated and tired in places, Tunisia is not sharm or the Mayan coast..if you're expecting 5 star gilt everything then you'll be disappointed. However the staff are incredible, the hotel is absolutely fine, the food is good enough AI, the drinks range is limited but adequate, the pools are clean and large enough, and the facilities are sufficient for having a decent holiday. The team at the wunderbar were superb - shout out to Anis who remembered a pretty long drinks order and was always there with a refill. I'm also going to shout out Aladdin the TUI rep - very knowledgeable and accommodating..messaging me at 22:00 with updates to dive trips All in all, a great first trip to Tunisia.

My family had a fabulous time at AQI Skanes. The room was kept clean and the cleaner was aware of our schedule and roughly what time we left the room. The bar staff are very attentive, always on the ball. You dont need to worry about an empty glass! They have a wide variety of food and different themes each night. My daughter loved the pool and slides. The life guards were always aware of the kids. Hedi at the relax pool saved her life one day, I was so grateful. She also loved kids club and mini disco. The staff here were second to none and we have travelled often. I Would like to thank each and everyone of them for making our 2 week summer holiday amazing!

First impressions a bit mixed. The staff on reception were warm & welcoming we were given complimentary drinks & snacks on arrival which was nice. Check in took longer than expected a good 30 minutes due to the volume of arrivals to be expected I guess. We finally got the key to our room, but had to keep phoning down to reception for our luggage, and I had to go down to retrieve our luggage so that we could have a shower and get dressed, we lost a good 2 hours of our holiday which wasn’t great. A faster check in next time hopefully! Rooms a bit tired and you will hear crickets & see the odd roach or some ants but you are in a hot country near a beach. That aside we got to the pool and bar, and really got into the holiday spirit, we instantly felt welcome by all the staff & throughly enjoyed the bars and facilities. The food was really nice we loved the themed nights especially the Tunisian night, beautiful cuisine, the service second to none, waiters & staff were so kind and attentive they really made our holiday! The entertainment and Reps really made our time at Skanes resort fun, shout out to Obama, Chris, Alice & Lulu you were brilliant! Even my awkward shy teenage girl was doing the Conga, karaoke and Hella Décalé by the end of holiday, everyone got involved in the Skanes family spirit we all loved it! Overall aside from a few snags at the beginning our experience at Skanes resort was so amazing! In fact so much so we are booked and coming back late May, I would highly recommend Skanes resort to friends and family! Roll on 2026! - Adam, Cheri,Seren & Noah from Cardiff, wales,uk.

Just retuned after a week at the hotel. Myself and my two children aged 9 and 7 had an amazing week. The staff at the hotel went above and beyond. The pools were great and my children loved the slides. The lifeguards were amazing and always around to help, very friendly and welcoming. The animation team were amazing, providing lots of activities for children and adults during the day and the evening entertainment was the best I’ve ever seen compared to other hotels I have been too. They were all very friendly but not too pushy for you to join in if you didn’t want to. My children loved the mini disco too. I will definitely be returning to this hotel again as myself and my children loved it.

This hotel is outstanding, the staff here are all amazing and very friendly. There are so many activities available during the day and night organised by the amazing animation team. The animation team was so friendly especially Chris, Mahdi, Sam and Alice. They were always there to help and to get you involved. The cuisine was amazing too the food was delicious and there was so much choice. The nightlife was so inclusive too for the kids and for adults there was so much to do, but particularly the animation team was just brilliant and i would definitely come back again.

The food was absolutely amazing chefs were so kind to me and my family the front desk staff were so so so kind to us and I really enjoyed the service at this place - the entertainment staff were so friendly and full of joy great for a getaway with kids:)
