Reviews
Great facilities, genuinely welcomed, food varied and delicious, excellent spa/leisure/activities/nightly entertainment.
The hotel is a little aged in parts but is kept spotlessly clean, rooms well presented. Overall a well managed 4+ star hotel.
I look forward to returning again in the future.
Hotel - The hotel feels neglected & tired - the glass is never polished, carpet in the hallways and furniture in the lobby is dirty. The gym though was the best feature of this hotel.
Room - When we arrived our room was not ready as we arrived earlier than check in. I shall give credit to the reception staff as they were trying to get us into our room as quickly as possible however this resulted in neglect when it came to the cleanliness of the room. It was evident the room was not cleaned or rearranged from the previous guests. The floor was filthy, hairs on the bed, the carpet had not been hoovered, we were missing towels. The bathroom was also the same and besides the fact it wasn’t clean the room needed some TLC - grime, dirt, chipped tiles & broken plug sockets.
We did complain about the cleanliness of the room and it turned out the extra bed in the room was not meant to be in there and the gentleman had to re arrange the furniture where it was actually meant to be. He changed the bedsheets and wiped the sides over. However when it came to carpet he tried to tell us it’s meant to look like that and there was no dirt in the carpet, we were quite shocked when we pointed out all the hairs, fluff and bits in the carpet that we would have to walk through just to get in bed. He was acting like we were making him go out of his way to hoover the floor that should of already been done. Let’s just say the whole entire week our socks/feet were black.
Food - Finding clean plates, cups and cutlery was a challenge . You was lucky if you didn’t have a cup, plate or cutlery with food stuck on it. Food was always served hot for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. There was a variety of options however everything was quite bland and repetitive, there was only one time the food actually changed which I believe was Moroccan night. There was also a few occurrences where I found hair in the food. If you have allergies I would just say clear of this place - I witnessed chefs cross contaminating when cooking, some of the food wasn’t labelled correctly. The snack bar near the beach was disappointing , all that space to serve 3 snacks and some left over deserts and fruit.
If you love flies … then rest assured they leave the doors open in the main hall so you can’t eat in peace, flies come and sit on your table or just simply fly on you, this was every single day at every single meal. Humour aside, anything left out in the open such as the fruit, deserts, salad we witnessed flies pitch on them.
The Al La Carte’s.. we noticed it was just the buffet food made to look fancy and I wouldn’t recommend as you will be left hungry.
The only positive I will say is that the waiters are SO friendly and they really looked after us even without tips.
Pool Area - We never raced to get a sunbed and we found it easy to secure one at 9am, however many of them are broken. Apart from this the staff at the pool bar & entertainment are nice , friendly and attentive.
Location - The Marina and markets is a 8-10 minute walk away if you fancy a stroll. On the beach there is plenty of watersports options & the hotel offers excursions if you fancy a venture out otherwise it’s a very quiet area and perfect if you want to just relax.
Overall we wouldn’t stay here again unless the hotel had a refresh and upped its basic cleanliness. Based on the low levels of cleanliness & maintenance this is does not reflect a 5*.
The excursion booked in the hotel was a big scam. We should go on a boat trip in Sousse with animation and lunch (30€ per person). Instead of that the bus took us to Monastir without telling where we are going and there was not a real animation at all (the staff on the boat was kind).
Our room gets cleaned every day. Its spacious and AC is working.
Hotel staff is incredible, boys at the beach and bars very friendly. Everyone from the staff is absoulutely good trained.
The food is really tasty but i would suggest to put a little bit more salt because some food is not seasoned at all.
There is a lot of pastries, and variety of good is great.
Beach bar also servers pancakes, waffles, chicken nuggets etc.
There is a shop near hotel, and marina in about 5 minute walk.
I would give more stars if I could, we will be coming back next year! Thank you for this pleasant stay☺️
The atmosphere excellent the food brilliant and the head chef very good all ways checking the quality of the food, to meet customer satisfaction. Car park clean and presentable. Very good security service. I recommend this hotel to everyone including family and friends.
