Sousse Pearl Marriott Resort & Spa

Overall, it was a good experience. We had contacted before arriving asking for an early check-in due to traveling with a 2 year old, but no rooms were available.
The room was brilliant, and they delivered a cot straight away when we got in there.
The pool was great for the little one. Drinks were fairly prompt.
When going back to the room, various appliances were not working. A quick word with reception, and someone was there immediately and fixed it all. Someone then came to check 30 minutes later (great service).
Had room service. Mixed our order up but they came quick enough and apologized. Salad was tasty, but the jambon and cheese sandwich had no cheese.
Breakfast had a good range. Fresh omelets were nice but wish I could have had fresh scrambled eggs.

Acceptable

A professionally run five star hotel at the center of sousse. Interior design in the hotel is impressive and eye-catching. Flawless cleaning service. Rooms are immaculate, furniture is new. We stayed there three nights, and had room service every day without an interuption, which was great.

Staffs are friendly and welcoming, especially those working at the reception. Muhammed was extremely professional, has resolved a couple of issues pretty quickly. He was so kind, he allowed us late check out as our flight was running in the evening.

Food was delicious and was enough for us. We loved their freshly made smoothie in the breakfast and in the dinner.

It was an absolute pleasure to stay here. The amazing customer service was the standout point, especially from the manager, Hamdi, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was excellent. Really grateful for the amazing service!.

Good hotel with everything I needed, Staff were friendly, plenty of food and drink and facilities. The location was good for Sousse and had a good beach spot with Pool. The hotel made you feel safe in a city with a lot going on!

When arriving it wasn't quite the 5* experience you are used to like in other destinations considering there weren't that many 5* resorts in Sousse. It all seemed fairly casual, if we phoned reception, we'd never get through, we'd have to always go down. The rooms were basic but clean. Air con worked, which is a bonus because even in some 5* places they don't work. The lobby is nice and comfortable and can take excellent pictures. The food is a little hit and miss and would have rather not done an all inclusive. We tried the space and indoor pool which was nice and worked well. However, I'd rate this more of a 4* hotel and a place to crash rather than a 5* beach resort.

Positives: Short walk away from main Sousse town centre. Private Hotel Beach and friendly staff.

Negatives: Not as impressive as I thought for a 5* Marriott as it was sold to me in a general sense, that exclusive feeling one gets. Basic room furnishings/hard to get hold of staff using telephone. Food is a bit hit and miss.
