Reviews
The food is good but too many salads, almost every night they had spaghetti with a sauce that didn't have any taste. In the morning you didn't have many options to choose from, eggs, cucumber and tomatoes at every meal!
The cleaning service is not for 4 stars...if you don't put the towels on the floor, the cleaning lady won't change them, they don't vacuum the floor at all. All she did with the sand from the bathroom was to put it under the threshold from the entrance..it stayed like that for 7 days straight.
On the balcony you have no privacy, everyone can look at you from left and right and the hotel in front of you!!
The wifi sucks, you only have "free wifi" down at the reception and its working so slow.
Maybe the experience is different for everyone, but the cleaning service and food does not seem like one for 4 stars.
Hopefully you can improve from this review
I also get sick in this hotel and should got recompensed for two days I spent in the toilet.
Other people that I’ve met in the lobby were sick too. It didn’t feel like coincidence.
P.s Just adding as I am seeing the hotel's response I think the crassness of their response (which I now see disappears by me editing this- beven their response to others giving bad reviews) reflects the service they provide and their attitude perfectly! The manager was snide to say the least!
Unfortunately, I’m disappointed with stay in Kleopatra Life hotel.
Hotel is located 30 mins from city centre and port. The beach is located across the street.
Hotel’s beach doesn’t have snack bar, for all drinks and food you have to pay, you can’t bring yours too. The most annoying is that for deckchairs is charge €7 per day which is ridiculous for this standard of hotel.
The pool in the hotel is very small, most of the day is no sun. No personal space at all.
Food exceptional although not much choice every day. Very big salad bar, meat or fish only one selection per dinner. Desserts nice.
All inclusive drinks are beer, low quality spirits, no wine.
Staff nice, engaging, not all speak English which may be hard if it comes to room service. Cleaning wasn’t prompt, had to be requested.
The room was again very small. You can forget about opening two suitcases on the floor. Only one card for the room was provided.
If it comes to entertainment in this hotel is very poor. One show per week which was very basic.
Overall experience wasn’t too bad although I’ve expected far more from 4* hotel.
I didn’t have to look for luxury hotels in the past. All of them 4* had what this hotel didn’t have.
I can clearly see owner doesn’t take any critisism and everything is guest fault.
Realistically hotel is 3 star food is not so good very bland and repetitive even i notice food from other day served next day. Be careful what you eat .Also do not stay at first floor especially rooms 101 and 116 noise is unbearable. They saying its family hotel but theres lot of young drunk people coming from city in early morning shouting or sitting at balcony for free wi-fi.
When we first arrived after a long travel, we were happily welcomed by the staff. Lunch time was over, but they served us hot plates and the food was so delicious. The food was so tasty all throught our week-long stay. And so were the drinks. Best coctails and wines.
Location - absolutely perfect. Walking out the hotel you have the best view of the sea, its just a few feet away. Markets and shops are very close, you can walk to the center and all around town easily. The road along the beach was perfect for long calming walks.
The room was nothing special, shower was a little small and the bed took most of the room, but we didnt mind because the only time we were in the room was for sleeping, there is so much to do and the lounge area outside was very nice chilling area. Also we booked the basic room, so we were absolutely fine with it.
VERY GOOD HAMAM - The Silvester Stallone looking guy is very good at convincing you to come, and its 100% worth it!
Overall i LOVED my stay there, i felt so welcomed and cared for. Especially i want to thank the barmen Aiden and server Can for making our stay so special and memorable. Really honest and heart-warming people. And cudos for the owner/receptionist for always making us laught and welcome.
Food is very good and diverse. Staff is friendly and polite. Some of them don't know English at all, thus we had a hard time communicating to each other. This became a problem when I ran out of bathroom necessities and the housekeeper didn't supply, so I had to ask for a toilet paper and shower gel (that was fun experience though). However, this has happened only one time during my 10-day stay, so it's nothing compared to the good job they did for the rest of the time.
The hotel management organizes evening events by the pool two-three times a week – live music, Turkish night etc., which was very fun.
Overall I had a great time, so I highly recommend you to consider spending your vacation at the Kleopatra Life Hotel.
