I'm sorry but I haven't even finished my stay but the power of my room shut off at night, while I was still awake. The elevator too with no warning. (It will turn back on when you press a button.) The Wi-Fi doesn't allow youtube. Frequently, it has no connection. And last the blankets are dusty. Sorry if I was harsh.

This is by far the worst hotel I’ve stayed at during my one month in Turkey. For a four-star hotel in the capital, the service and facilities don’t even come close to what I experienced in small-town hotels in the countryside of Turkey.

Breakfast is supposed to be served until 10:30, and I walked into the restaurant at 10:10. There was only a waiter there, and as soon as he saw me sit down, he sighed loudly. Not long after I sat down, he started clearing all the food—before it was even 10:30—and didn’t bother to ask if I needed anything else. I was toasting some bread at the time and didn’t realize he’d already taken away all the hot dishes. When I went over and asked if there was any food left, he just pointed at the clock and muttered something. To make things worse, while there were still two tables of guests eating and watching TV, he walked over and unplugged the TV right in front of me.

Yes, I admit I woke up late. But if I had missed the 10:30 cutoff, I wouldn’t have gone in and bothered anyone. I came in well within the designated time and was treated like this, without any explanation. The breakfast service was still supposed to be available, so I really don’t understand why I was treated this way. It made me feel like I was being discriminated against because of my race.

The facilities in the hotel are also extremely outdated. The power card kept tripping all night, making loud clicking noises every few minutes. It was so disruptive that I had to take the card out completely to get some rest, but that meant no heating and no way to charge my phone.

The toilet was another problem—it barely flushed and kept making a loud refilling noise. I ended up trying to fix it in the middle of the night just to make it stop.

And the soundproofing? Absolutely terrible. This is a hotel right on a busy street, and the noise insulation was so bad. I could hear traffic all night long.

I gave 2 stars to the hotel only because of the breakfast. We chose this hotel due to positive reviews about breakfast, but were very disappointed with it. Firstly, empty dishes were never refilled. So if you come by 9:00 am, you will find serving food plates half empty. Secondly, there was no variety. The only variety they had it was in jams, that’s it. And lastly, nobody took care of the food on counters. Bread was not covered and in few hours you will find it not fresh and tough( or it might have never been fresh). We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights, and tried breakfast twice, then decided not to go to the hotel restaurant again. The positive point was the proximity to ANKAmall where we had our breakfasts.
Overall, the hotel was okay. Our triple room was spacious and clean. I would say even maybe renovated. Location was good. There was a park opposite hotel. And it was always easy to find taxi due to the hotel location.
Would I come back to this hotel? No. Turkey is very popular with its delicious food and that what makes me come back to the country again and again.
