The boutique hotel is housed in two beautiful old buildings, built in traditional Ottoman style. The complex was completely renovated in accordance with the original appearance and architecture. A team of Turkish architects and European interior designers have created an atmosphere of tradition combined with modern comfort.

There were some inconveniences. In our standard room, facilities were limited, there was no kettle or robe (despite being listed in our booking) and only a handheld shower in the bath. Two bottles of water were provided on arrival but never replaced. Housekeeping was inconsistent, several times our towels were taken but not replaced, and toilet paper was not replenished, so we had to go to reception multiple times. On arrival, our air conditioning leaked all night and disturbed our sleep; while staff fixed it quickly the next day, no compensation or goodwill gesture was offered. On our first morning we were also told to attend a mandatory meeting, which turned out to be a sales pitch for excursions and delayed the start of our day. Finally, our room was right next to the mosque, so the early morning call to prayer woke us up around 5am each day.
Service was also excellent. It was my second time staying at Alp Paşa. The rooms are very clean and the housekeeping is doing his work excellent. No need to say more :)
When we arrived, the room we were initially given wasn’t the one we had booked. However, the manager did upgrade us to a better room, which we appreciated. That said, the interaction could have been handled with a bit more politeness and warmth, especially considering the mix-up.
The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect, right in the center of the charming Old Town. It’s surrounded by narrow, historic streets and has a lovely restaurant attached, which adds to the atmosphere. While the food and drinks were good, we did find the prices higher compared to nearby restaurants.
The hotel features two swimming pools, which was a nice touch, but the experience was somewhat dampened by guests reserving sunbeds with towels and then disappearing for long period.
Service-wise, there’s room for improvement. Essentials like water, coffee, and tea were not restocked in the room, and we had to request them at reception, which was inconvenient for a hotel of this level. Despite these minor issues, we enjoyed our stay thanks to the great location and overall ambiance.
We had such a wonderful stay at Alp Paşa Hotel. Our room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very spacious. The bed was incredibly comfortable – we slept like babies every night!
The breakfast was a real highlight. The selection was fantastic, with everything you could ask for – and the made-to-order omelets were absolutely delicious. We looked forward to breakfast every morning!
The staff deserve a special mention – every single person we met was kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Their service-minded attitude made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
And the location? Simply unbeatable. You’re right in the heart of the old town, with everything just a short walk away. It’s the perfect base to explore Antalya.
We can’t recommend Alp Paşa enough and would definitely love to come back!
Not as advertised. Room was larger than most in Kalecei hotels but it needs upgrading. Was clean but fixtures in bathroom all old, with bath screen ready to fall off. No tea/coffee making facilities. Staff in bar/restaurant had no interest doing any work and on both occasions we tried to get served we left after 20 mins of waiting (they simply stood around, serving no-one). Reception staff vey friendly and the concierge was amazing- very helpful.
The WiFi did not work all weekend. And there was no water on the check out day which was unfortunate but not the fault of the hotel. But the main issue is the windows which are poorly fitted and you can hear the entire street. Pointless going to bed until the streets become empty.
We parked our car in the hotel's parking lot and handed over the keys at the reception. However, when we picked up the car, we noticed a scratch on the side mirror. Despite informing the hotel staff, no action was taken. Instead of addressing the issue, we felt like we were just being stalled. It was a disappointing experience in terms of guest satisfaction.
