Lily Town Boutique Hotel

Very disappointing stay. I knew in advance that the room didn’t have a private bathroom, but I didn’t expect the shared toilet to be all the way upstairs on the second floor—and it wasn’t clean at all.

The room had no soundproofing whatsoever. At night, the staff were watching TV loudly in the common area, and the sound came straight through the walls. It was impossible to get a good night’s sleep.

Worst of all, there was no hot water at night, so we couldn’t even take a shower. When we brought this up to the host, their attitude was shockingly indifferent—basically like “Yeah, we don’t have hot water. Deal with it.” Extremely unprofessional.

And to top it off, they charged 5 euros per room for Wi-Fi. Honestly, with so many other accommodation options around, I really suggest you think twice before booking this place.

Bad practices in this hotel, they cancelled my booking, MANY DAYS after I booked with my credit card which is working (they say they have a problem with it but I tried the one of my wife and they cancelled anyways).

The reason? They wanted to host a big group that wanted to book more rooms (so their revenue is higher than with my family, we only booked 1 room). They kicked me out with no reason.

I needed to stay at street looking for another accomodation. When I ask why, they do NOT ANSWER because they don't speak English!

Not corresponding at all to the pictures: the rooms are dirty and full of mold. You can smell that is unhealthy to stay there. It’s a pity because the building is old and charming but needs absolutely a lot of work of maintenance and renovation.
The owner is aware that a lot of people are disappointed, after booking via Booking or Airbnb, but still not willing to refund or improve anything.

This hotel looks so good to be true. It is cheap and in a good location, but the rooms are not like in the photos they advertised. Check out my photos to see the actual condition of some bathrooms. Other rooms share the toilet and this is not mentioned in when you book. We saw a lot of people arrive and leave minutes later because the hotel is not what is expected from the pictures. In general the hotel feels pretty deteriorated.

Location is good, and staff was nice. However our bedroom was different than they show in pictures. The bathroom was very small, you basically showered where the toilet was and after have shower absolutely everything was flooded. We have the floor of our bathroom flooded all the days. I will never recommend and I will never back again.
