Reviews
Not to mention the power went out in the entire hotel, the heat was penetrating. However, the kitchen people were very nice and friendly. We had a good breakfast.
To summarize, save your time and do not book this hotel. The area is chaotic too. Find a better hotel that is worth your time and money.
The hotel pillows were very uncomfortable it gave me a neck ache. The room was close to outside swimming pool it was ok but they put very loud music until 3am I couldn’t sleep. The shower had very bad sewage and the toilet smelt very bad we had to open window to ventilate it. When taking a shower I could hear the neighbours whole conversation. When a taxi picked us up he said don’t go to that hotel the front staff like to argue and he said go to other hotels with better service. There was also a member of staff who would not leave us alone trying to sell his massage services. Everyday for 5 minutes he would pitch his message services and would not take no for an answer
The only thing that was good is the breakfast it was really good.
Curtains are too narrow and a lot of light came inside early every morning.
Cleaning lady/man smoked cigarettes in our room (strong smell of smoke in the bathroom everyday after cleaning).
Quite far from the city center (1 hour by bus, 15€ by taxi in 30minutes)
Positive things: breakfast, swimming pool and wifi.
The beach is nothing special and you can’t even bring your water to drink.
Our stay at this hotel was an absolute nightmare. The service provided by the staff was incredibly poor and left us feeling threatened and unwelcome.
We had originally booked our stay online and successfully paid for our first booking. However, when it came to the second booking, the hotel refused to accept the payment from our UK bank, despite the payment being marked as pending. Instead, they demanded that we pay in cash or by card on the spot. When we explained that we couldn't do that due to the pending status with our bank, the staff member became extremely aggressive and refused to listen.
What made the situation even worse was that he threatened us and called the police, insisting that we either pay cash or leave immediately. We were given only 10 minutes to pack our belongings and vacate the premises. It was very suspicious that they insisted on cash payments, making us question their motives and the integrity of their operations.
The way they treated us was absolutely disgusting. No guest should ever be treated with such disrespect and hostility. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel.
Rooms clean with good views, good value and excellent friendly staff.
Receptionist appears to be the manager who is extremely arrogant and unprofessional
Just before leaving I was bitten by bedbugs Rooms are not clean, limited number of cleaners in the hotel. When I brought this up with a young unprofessional receptionist he told me their not in season until I showed him my arms. Which I then checked out before my due date was just asked to pay for the 3 coffees.
The onus should be on the owner to manage a professional environment and provide a clean hotel. Each time I asked for the owners name it was never given was told he never comes to the hotel.
If you value your health don’t book at this hotel.
The conditions and sizes of our rooms were ok. The bathrooms were small but managable. The buffet breakfast was delicious and there were a plenty of dishes to choose from.
The pool is way way smaller than shown in the photos and not so clean.
The upside of the hotel is the breakfast spread is pretty decent and they had a couple of different options per day but the staff are miserable, asking for a fried egg was like asking for them to work, as you can see in the photo behind the cereal bowls the walls are grubby. They had no loo roll in the dining are bathroom and both the ladies were out of use. Then to top it off they had a Dog walking around inside the dining room like he owned the place and the staff were patting it while in service. The location is near a beautiful stretch of beach maby a 8-10 minutes walk where you can eat dinner next to the sea. However its about a 350 lira taxi trip away from the old town kelechi which is were all the fun, shops, markets, marina, restraunts, night life are. The amount we spent on taxis we could have stayed in a nicer hotel.
The sea view they say is a joke because all you see is blue sky and some water past the rooftops of other flats.
Overall I was ready to leave after day one but as my trip was only for 3 days we stayed out everyday till late and only came to sleep some didn't have to look at the room.
