Polat is a great hotel to stay at. I stayed for work and snowboarding. Everything was handy - transfer to the big mountain and rental equipment. We had an incredible weekend here. The hotel is like brand new. It is very clean. The rooms are luxurious. Service is amazing. Staff are very nice and friendly. Everyone has a big laughter on their face. Food is incredible. Every day, i had the time of my life. Spa service is perfect. Many options. Best kids club I have seen in a hotel. This place is one of the best ski resorts in Erzurum. It has private ski slopes, a simple design, clean rooms and the slopes are open at night! I personally think that this place deserves 5 stars.

Great stay! Breakfast was really good, a wide selection! The room was spacious and comfortable. Views from the room is amazing. Walking distance to Palandoken Ski resort. Had an absolutely outstanding stay at the Balsoy. Really enjoyed being close to the center of Erzurum, but far enough from the city center enjoy a peaceful mountain setting. The accommodations were top notch, and the breakfast buffet was expansive. Our daughter (2 year old) loved the cozy lobby. Finally Mr Emrah was an outstanding host and told us a lot about Erzurum and the surrounding area.

I spent 8 days at the Balsoy hotel in Palandoken. The location is perfect and all the areas of the hotel are very comfortable. The staff is extremely kind and I want to leave a special thanks to Mr. Emrah, who was so kind to go to the village to buy me a drug that I needed and was super friendly and available during my all stay. Definitely recommended.

I would definitely recommend this hotel despite that it appears to be quite old. They keep everything clean, and it's very warm there. It will be solid five stars if they fix the light, old doors and bathroom appliances.

The only reason I'm giving it an overall four rating is because the colors of the walls in the hallways are gray which makes the interior quite dark. İf the walls were painted white the interior would not be as dark. The bed was very comfortable! And the breakfast was awesome!

Nice new hotel in a good location (if you have a car). Beds are very comfortable, there's large TV and the shower works well. One point to make is that the quality of fittings is poor, with many things already broken - AC not working, sink plug broken, shower knob broken, light above door hanging down etc ... the hotel Management must pay more attention to maintenance

The hotel was 4 months old when I stayed (Sept2022) The room was bigger than I was expecting. I was given a room with Palandöken mountain view. It is quite away from the city center, but there is a mall right in front of the hotel. I walked but the road was not illuminated. The breakfast was not bad.
