As for the hotel, its location is fantastic—right by the harbour, and we enjoyed our breakfast every morning. The pool is surrounded by tropical trees, and the beds around it are very comfortable. They make amazing cocktails at the pool bar—try the Hugo me! 😍. The breakfast offers a lot of variety and caters to every palate. We last stayed at this hotel 9 years ago, and I can honestly say that it was one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed at, and on top of that it was pretty good value for money.
Fast forward 9 years later the family desperately wanted to return so we booked the yacht classic hotel La Mason house that is suitable for families.
On entry the house is stunning, huge space, top of the line everything, 3 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, beautiful views.
Unfortunately we ran into some issues. Firstly the road to cross to the hotel is not the nicest, it’s about 50mts up the road so you feel slightly detached from the hotel.
The staff didn’t seem to know or understand the house as they gave us incorrect information on check in. There is no phone in the house to call for assistance. (They told us to dial 0), we weren’t given the what’s app and they don’t respond to what’s app anyway.
The plug for the bath was broken and the hot water broke and we couldn’t have showers the first night. I had to cross the road at night to seek assistance to which I was told someone would fix it the next day.
Now when you are paying the price we were, that’s honestly isn’t good enough (the last hotel we stayed in Bodrum, a bed broke and we had someone there in 10mins, at 10pm at night fixing, cleaning and doing everything to repair the problem, and the hotel was half the price of this one).
The next day I demanded to speak to the manager. And after some ‘discussion’ they fixed the problems and sent some wine and fruit. Which is something but again, no showers in a place that is 400 euros a night??
They then turned on all the heaters? Not sure if this was related to the water heater but we were then dealing with a house that was half heating half air conditioning the place, and the water still wasn’t great, it didn’t go cold but it would run out quickly.
Hotel itself was still stunning, pool area is breathtaking, breakfast was sooooo good. Sunbeds beautiful. Beds in the house and bedding was amazing.
Cocktails are criminally expensive but also so so good.
Staff would provide plenty of water and let us stay after checkout around the pool for our late flight.
It’s still a stunning hotel, I still love this hotel, the service could do with some improvements, it’s not the value for money it once was (as is most of Turkey), but it is still beautiful and provides excellent quality in regards to the pool, breakfast and bedding.

One best boutique hotels in Türkiye. The villas are designed, constructed, and furnished meticulously by Sebnem Buhara, the architect. With the front pool, reachable from the villas only, you will experience a wonderful time in Fethiye. Their Mori restaurant in front of the hotel is on the way to be added to the Michelin Guide! A beautiful hotel with its own Marina for charter yachts. The swim up bar and pool were beautiful and perfect for the hot August days. The spa had great massages as well with friendly and professional masseuses. The views of the Marina were great as well, especially if you’re into sail boats! The hotel is about a 20min walk from the old town as well so the location is very practical.

One of my best experiences in life. Stunning crystal clear waters, yacht view and Immaculate hotel, so friendly staff, very trained and polite. The Mori Turkish restaurant was amazing, the best food you must try. I definitely come back.. a special taste of lovely Turky
