So much potential to be amazing!
Just a few small things to work on.
Rooms maybe need some work - our sink fell apart during our stay and it was broken before so glued together - should have been replaced.
Needed a few more floor mats as there was just sand everywhere all the time… one walks from the sand to the room so continually covered in sand.

This place is okay value for the price — included breakfast was quite good and the guys at the restaurant were nice. But otherwise, many rooms have pests (fleas, cockroaches etc.), front desk worker was rude, hostile, and dismissive when I showed her evidence of bed bugs, and a woman opened the door to our room yelling at 6 am. Most of my group left earlier than we planned to stay…

I spent 7 nights in the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also good with different varieties (egg, scrambled egg, pancakes) and some fruit, coffee and tea. Unfortunately the room did not have a mosquito net so I was bitten awake 2 nights.
On weekends it was unfortunately very noisy due to various parties (until 4am.) and sleep came too short.
The pool is nice and looks well maintained. The beach access (approx. 150m) is also nice. It is also only 200m to the big street (to the first restaurants), where there is delicious street food in the evening (maybe 600-700m away). Friday evening there was a small buffet for about 11€ with good tuna and chicken - also recommended.
Luckily I had two beds in the room because the mattress of the big bed was completely worn out and soft, you really sank into it.
In summary, I wouldn't visit the hotel again as I wasn't there to party and sleep is very important to me. For people who like to party at the weekend, it is recommended.

I always come here with my parents or friends! The beach is just next to us. We love the vibes, the food, the facility and over all the people! I have a baby and everybody is loving towards him and he is so super happy here. Whatever u need u just need to give a call :) the massage ladies r amazing too.

Jambo Beach Bungalows is the place to be in Paje.
Although it's not right at the beach they have an nice pool.
The staff is making so much effort to make sure we are fine. The food is very delicious and the cocktails to.
We totally recommend staying here.

Ok it is cheap, but that is no excuse.
We didn't sleep at all. Worst, when talking to the staff about it, we were yelled at for even suggesting there was a problem.
Leaving after 1 night, never coming back and I will actively dissuade anyone from coming near this place.
There is so much noise throughout the night, from the street you hear cars and scooters racing all night. The houses are built so close to each other, you hear your neighbors turning in their bed, let alone if many groups play music and shout till 5am in the morning. When finally asked to keep it quiet at 4am, they laugh and keep going anyway.
The main bar plays soft rock karaoke on poor speaker till late which echoes across the whole compound. Fine it's Friday, but then don't build your huts on the dancefloor.

Amazing bungalows, a real experience of zanzibar island. The pool is beautiful and the breakfast really good as well. Is a pet-friendly place, and we found many dogs (good treated) that make us the day because they were so cute and friendly!
