Really nice hotel with a great lobby area. You'll have fun going up the elevator, I promise. Price was high but appropriate I would say as the room was huge and in great condition. The hotel is conveniently located in Old Town, 8 blocks from the active King Street area. The suite was cozy, not large, but two rooms, updated with 2 large TV's, a refrigerator and a good bathroom that met the needs of the two of us. It was quiet. Hands down the best service in Old Town Alexandria. The entire staff were very helpful and super friendly and just made me feel like I was at home. Out of the staff members, Yvette was super friendly and always had a smile on her face and aided me in every possible way. Very nice place that is well furnished. The gym is a bit small but has everything you need and the front desk is always willing to accommodate anything you might need. The area is quiet and is located right next to Harris Teeter if you ever need to get anything very quick. The place is fantastic and would I would definitely recommend everyone to stay here if you can!

The people at this hotel are very nice and helpful, especially when you get to your room after driving 6 hours to find the phone doesn't work, or something else. I was very impressed by this hotel. The shuttle service is quick, and the room was very well equipped, well maintained and perfectly clean. The bed was so comfortable that I literally slept twelve hours on it after a long day of travel. I'll stay here again next time I'm in the DC area.

I had a layover here when on my way back home and got to stay a night for free. The room was BEAUTIFUL. I got two full sized beds to myself. The front desk was fast and efficient. As soon as I got there, they took my voucher and knew exactly what to do. It took all of 5 minutes to get me checked in and into a room so I could rest for my early morning connection flight.

The room was clean, staff was nice and so was the decor. I liked the Illy Cafe but it closes early every day and I wish the hours were longer so I could have enjoyed a pastry and iced coffee in the afternoon. The double room had full size beds instead of queen beds which was smaller that I would have like to have to share a bed with another adult.

I always had very convenient and pleasant stay here. Location is very good and practical. Total costs are better than to stay in DC area. Rooms are also always clean and sized enough, even for longer stay. There is no microwave in the room, which made my long stay expensive, but ease of access to the Metro really made up for it. Customer Service was also quite good. It was winter and I had some issues with static/dryness in the room.

It is definitely a step above the continental breakfast at many hotels. The bathroom was small and needed some updates.

Well appointed clean rooms, friendly staff, comfy beds, big TV with good choice of channels. The toiletries are a bit stingy, the elevators on the slow side. Older style hotel near the Crystal City metro. Large with a full restaurant and cafe om mezzanine level. Rooms are a little dated. Mattress could use replacing. The rooms have lots of space and are very well kept, The access to the metro is very nice, and the free coffee machine is very good to have in the morning.

Very clean. The rooms are spacious, maintained and pleasant. The staff is friendly and very helpful. A short train ride away from downtown but still surrounded by grocery stores, coffee shops and nice restaurants. If you're trying to see DC but want to get away from it and sleep well at night, this is a nice place

We stayed here mid October. The location is great- we didn’t rent a car so we took Lyft everywhere- $10 and 10 min to the city. The staff is super friendly and the hotel is very clean. We used the fitness center- that was the only thing that wasn’t great. It was super hot and the sanitizing wipes smelled weird. But usable. Loved it and would stay here again.

Fantastic stay at Ritz - Pentagon City! Our Valet, Ed, was so welcoming and accommodating upon arrival. He continued to be a bright face throughout our stay; greeting us by name each time we interacted. The bed was so comfortable and room was exceptionally clean. The Ritz Carlton helped a wedding I attended make a great experience with the lovely etiquette of the personnel and the great professionalism of the managers. The rooms were surprisingly small for the price, I'm assuming because it was booked in a deal with the event but at least we had great privacy which was great great great ;)

This place was absolute heaven on earth after our experience at holiday Inn. We told the front desk clerk how we were poorly treated at the Holiday Inn and the extremely poor rooms were there. He listened to us and made sure we were treated right. The evening gentleman at the desk really made our stay worthwhile. The room was clean and amazing. Not typically the Residence Inn I stay at while in NOVA but I had a class in Ballston so I decided to give it a try. I thought it was a great stay, rooms were extra clean everyday and great breakfast. Convenient to orange/sliver metro line. Plenty of places to walk and eat. Construction on going down the street but didn't bother me.
