I this place was amazing. From the front desk staff to the bartender, top notch customer service. The cook to order food was great and the cooks were organized and friendly. I will definitely return again. Not to mention there’s so many food options close by including Whole Foods and CVS.
Why can’t I get a full receipt from the hotel? I have yet to get a receipt from you. I need it ASAP.
Overall, a pretty enjoyable stay here. The hot tub is very hot and the pool is very warm, a big plus for us. The rooms were nice and in working order. The parking garage is a 6' 3" clearance, but the top of our truck tapped the signs at that height. It was also incredibly tight and difficult to navigate. That would be my main complaint. Overall, nice place to stay for several days and friendly staff
I liked the cooked to order omelet breakfast as well as the fully stocked breakfast buffet. Happy Hour was also awesome.
Love that the metro station is right across from the hotel. Made going into DC very easy. Staff was incredible! Table backs, chefs everyone very friendly and helpful. Only downfall was rude people at the happy hour hoarding the snacks etc.
This hotel could benefit from some updates. It's in a convenient location. The evening happy hour is nice though crowded. Breakfast is very good. Our bathroom has some plumbing issues.

Always love coming to this Sheraton hotel, been coming here since I was 5. Great service and comfortable rooms!
Cold breakfast I ordered breakfast in restaurant , it was served and was not even warm, I ordered rye toast and was given something else ( white?) Rich
The suite was roomy and the bed was very comfortable. It was a lovely place to relax after a hectic day of sightseeing. Delicious breakfast buffet.
Just a regular 3 star hotel. Stuff are real nice. Only con is the water fountain water is not well filtered. It smells like a regular tap water.
Super convenient, short walk to king street and train station to DC. Lots of restaurants near by.
Awesome Getaway This was an amazing weekend getaway for me. The stay was relaxing and the atmosphere was inviting, I was able to get some writing done and just enjoy myself. The staff were very friendly and the staff at the restaurant were top notch!

The people at this hotel are very nice and helpful, especially when you get to your room after driving 6 hours to find the phone doesn't work, or something else. Unfortunately still no food served there. We had to order from outside the hotel but that was okay. Comfy beds and nice shower! I would stay here again.
I was very impressed by this hotel. The shuttle service is quick, and the room was very well equipped, well maintained and perfectly clean. The bed was so comfortable that I literally slept twelve hours on it after a long day of travel. I'll stay here again next time I'm in the DC area.
The lobby was lovely. The room and bathroom were huge! The Handicap shower was great for my husband. The room had a wardrobe for hanging up the clothes. Linens were ample in the bathroom and bedroom. The location was great. A short walk to the Braddock metro station. A Harris Teeter was .2 miles away from the hotel as well. Restaurants all around within walking distance. The staff was very...
King room was spacious, had mini fridge but no microwave. Room had 2 large windows that over looked pool patio. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Overall great place to stay while visiting the DC area.
We were here only for one night. But it was very clean and comfortable. I was very happy with the parking. It is in a fantastic location. The staff were very friendly and gave good dining recommenations. I will definitely stay here again.
Great Hotel, Great Service.Mrs, Melissa at the front desk was very professional she give us a lot of information about the area in how to get to where we need it to go, the hotel shuttle very convenience. This hotel has a restaurant they have good food, Mr. Tavaris was great very patient with my kids he make us feel very welcome. Great hotel for family with kids. Love It.

everything was great : from the staff, specially the two girls at the front office and the director. Big and cute room. lovely hotel very Well located on King’s street. This is definitely the place to stay in Alexandria ! I will come back !
This is where you want to stay!!! After a night spent at a big money nightmare on the harbor... My wife and I were so happy to find this Gem!!! What a cool neighborhood with amazing resteraunts in short walking distance and a cool area to walk around and check out! The room was great and was a much need place for rest and relaxation with a very short drive to MGM. We will definitely be back as the...
Beautiful room, simple and nicely decorated. Coffee machine in room wasn't near an outlet and didn't come with instructions but we figured it out. Spacious bathroom and excellent lighting. We were part of a wedding party that filled part of the hotel. We had an amazing time!
To be honest I didn't book this place, but I'm glad someone did for me. It was a delightful, vintage hotel in the heart of downtown Alexandria. Rooms were huge and well maintained. Bathrooms, beds, etc, were all above par and added to the wonderful experience. Service was good, no complaints from me and we had prompt help for all our questions etc. I would definitely recommend staying here if I the...
I love this place so much I extended my stay for an additional 2 days then returned week after week. It was such a pleasure. Their balconies and little amenities make the hotel stand out from other hotels in the area. The staff is welcoming. One time they overbooked and I was upgraded to the diplomatic suite. The room is cozy, quiet and just super peaceful. I could spend all day in their claw tub rooms...

The beds, linens and the bathrooms are clean and smell fine. The upholstery bench in the room was kind of gross with stains. The location, price, and the shuttle was AWESOME for us. Also, I think it's good to mention that it was quiet and temperate. I appreciate that very much when we are only here to sleep and relax.
All of the employees were VERY kind and helpful. It was very centrally located to our venue. It's not a brand new hotel but very clean. Their shuttle to the airport and downtown was a big perk. Breakfast was good. I'd definitely stay here again.
It's a quite little hotel. It's kind of of but in a quaint way. The price as good. The people were nice. It was clean and well cared for. There were a couple of things that need a little bit of updating. The shower water pressure was low, the bedding was well worn, and even running constantly the AC barely managed to keep cool. But for the price it was fine. I would stay there again.
Decent room, a little older and could be cleaned up a bit. Great location, friendly staff, and a great price.
Four star service in a three-star hotel. The rooms don't need to be updated so much as they need to be cleaned and have some maintenance done. One of the bed frames had pieces of metal sticking out and my aunt kept barking her shins on them. The caulking around the bathtub was coming up in several places. The fixtures cover plates were coming up. And many things look like they hadn't been cleaned....
It was not unpleasant at all. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was plentiful. Breakfast was what you'd expect. The air conditioning wasn't adequate for the room size though.

Staff was awesome. Did not like the late evening phone calls to see if we needed services the following day. Rooms were a tad musty but clean. Older hotel but had a decent continental breakfast.
It was a quick stay. We got into town around 130am-2am. They had one room left after check in hours which was great cus the long drive we needed to crash. Double bed room, it was clean, fixtures was cleaned and working, bathroom area was pretty big and spacious, and bed I found comfortable.
The staff is very helpful and friendly. We just needed to stay one night to rest up on a road trip. I called and spoke with Angela. She got us taken care of quickly. The rooms could use some updates, but they were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fine. It's pretty much your standard hotel breakfast. All in all we were happy with our stay.
Nice and comfortable place. Would definitely stay here again! Friendly, clean, and everything works
It is right behind an apartment building which makes it a little strange, and driving at night it is hard to see because the hotel sign is catty corner to where the actual hotel is and the sign that is on the hotel is on the side of the building where you can not see it. The rooms were pretty and roomy. The pillows and bed we're comfortable. There was a complimentary breakfast in the morning and it...
Got this room while traveling to DC and they had a couple of rooms left. The rooms were nice the pillows and beds were comfortable. The only bad thing was all the stuff going on outside. They have a complimentary breakfast and it was ok. The waffles we're good but the eggs had a weird taste. But overall not bad.

Old...not at ALL what the online booking site said ir was... But, the log guy behind the bulletproof gloss was very nice. Stayed 4 days...never saw a maid. What's that about? Great location but...way higher priced than the property warrants. Small rooms. Tiny TV. Bathrooms are bigger in a commercial airplane.
Staff was INCREDIBLY friendly. Room was very (new pillows, floors, microwave, fridge and bathroom) clean and had everything we needed. If you need a cheap room, yeah the building is old but the rooms have been updated, but I recommend it!
It's clean and and spacious, good for a motel. The stairs were a pain and old. Beside that there was a fridge and a microwave and I had no complaints.
Great little unpretentious hotel! Safe parking lot, friendly staff, comfortable beds, and minutes away from the DC mall! Loved our stay!
Great little motel. Has a microwave and refrigerator, and is close to the Washington DC train. You will get a comfortable clean place to stay. It's not luxurious, but is a great choice if you are looking to stay on a budget. I have stayed there twice for conferences in DC, and will probably do so again.
The hotel is great for the price and the location in the heart of DC and close to the Braddock Metro Station. The family running the hotel is so cooperative and helpful. Next to the hotel there is a restaurant: The Asian Woke. If you are fond of asian food, you are highly recommended to try it, you won’t regret...

It's expensive, but when you want something near Reagan airport, it's clean, comfortable, and safe, so no complaints.
Overall experience staying in the place was outstanding, and it's definitely worth the price. In particular, I liked the location, friendliness of the staffs, free shuttle service to airport and metro station, and amenities provided.
I had a layover here when on my way back home and got to stay a night for free. The room was BEAUTIFUL. I got two full sized beds to myself. The front desk was fast and efficient. As soon as I got there, they took my voucher and knew exactly what to do. It took all of 5 minutes to get me checked in and into a room so I could rest for my early morning connection flight.
The front staff were so friendly and helpful - they made us feel comfortable and at home right from the beginning. The room was clean and updated and we were glad to be walking distance (for us) from metro and a plethora of eating and shopping options. Others not use to walking a lot may not find it that convenient and the Uber drivers had a little trouble finding us. Would definitely stay again!
Free parking for guests, staff was absolutely amazing. The only problem we had in the beginning was our starting room; the room smelt Musty, and the beds did not match the expectation of what we asked and what we were described. But after a quick chat with their friendly staff we were moved to a room that met and exceeded our expectations. We weren't able to see any monuments from our room, but we...
Husband and I stayed there for 3 nights while he attended a conference across the street. The self parking is in an underground garage and the spaces are TINY. It was a pristine well located hotel with a fabulous interior and spacious comfortable rooms.
I expected a little more luxury for a Renaissance but it was clean and the staff was friendly. I was there for a conference so the hotel was very busy. I did not get house keeping they ask at checkin. That is fine but it would have been nice to have a full tea and coffee service with honey and sugars and cream and also an extra body lotion as I was there 4 days 3 nights. Bar pricing was inconsistent...
The service and staff were great! Second time staying here to attend a 3 day seminar and the experience has been always outstanding. The food at the restaurant is really good, specially the octopus. It would be great if they were open till midnight or 11pm at least. They close at 10pm and during these trips you want to keep the socializing longer. Last but not least I would like to give an accolade...
The entire experience at Arlington Capital View was a dream. This is one of the best services I’ve ever received at a Hotel. The staff was exceptional; the architecture is beautiful and myself as well as everyone I traveled with were treated like royalty. The rooms were spotless, a restaurant and bar is downstairs. I mean it wasn’t just a Hotel Stay, it was a pure luxury experience!
The rooms were very nice. It was well located. Their fitness facility would be enough for all but the most Abbott lifter. And even they would be able to make do for a few days for a few days. I only stayed overnight so unfortunately I didn't have an opportunity to partake in the lobby bar which seems to be nice .they also have some type of club lounge on the 14th floor that I wasn't able to get to...
The room was clean, staff was nice and so was the decor. I liked the Illy Cafe but it closes early every day and I wish the hours were longer so I could have enjoyed a pastry and iced coffee in the afternoon. The double room had full size beds instead of queen beds which was smaller that I would have like to have to share a bed with another adult.

The overall experience of my stay was beyond expectations for rooms, breakfast, and it's location.
Loved their service and facilities, complimentary breakfast was best because I didn’t have to bother about my 1.5 year old’s breakfast, she also loved them. Enjoyed the distance from the Reagan Airport. It was an easy and quick ride. Everyone I interacted with was friendly the shuttle driver, desk staff, housekeeping, and kitchen crew. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast seating area is a bit tight. I would suggest rearranging the layout. Overall had a great experience.
Very good place and has well-maintained rooms. During my visit, I enjoyed the stay and had an amazing experience here. A very warm, professional, and friendly reception staff. Housekeeping facilities were good. My stay here in this hotel has given me so much joy and had a memorable time, the view from the balcony was awesome.
For some reason my last review was deleted. This was one of my favorite Hilton stays. The staff was great and the room was good sized. Breakfast was different each morning and the staff was VERY attentive. They have been in construction status for a few years now and the pool is closed because of it. Avoid the Hilton next door at all cost!
I always had very convenient and pleasant stay here. Location is very good and practical. Total costs are better than to stay in DC area. Rooms are also always clean and sized enough, even for longer stay. Breakfast rich and tasty, variouse range of fresh fruits, oatmeal,, cornflakes, etc. Staff has been polite and friendly at all time. So, I would wish to be in Hampton Inn DCA back again.

The rooms were clean and spacious. Although the bathroom shower needed some TLC. I didn't have a great view, unless your into rooftops.. lol.. but all in all the location was convenient since the metro was a short 5-10 minute walk. The service in the lobby for Starbucks was very nice and convenient!
Our family stayed at this Marriott over the fourth of July, and we were very impressed by the service. The Hotel was clean and everything was Marriott standard, however the service was even better. The manager was Hani and he took time to make sure everything was better than expected. The customer service at this Hotel is top notch. We highly recommend staying here.
My daughter recently stayed at your hotel as part of a very large group in town to participate in the March for Life. She accidentally left her phone behind in her room. There is no microwave in the room, which made my long stay expensive, but ease of access to the Metro really made up for it. Customer Service was also quite good. It was winter and I had some issues with static/dryness in the room.

The room is good value for money and clean overall
The location is good, and the hotel also has a free shuttle to Reagan Airport. The room feels renovated and comfortable. However, the soundproofing is average. You can hear people talking in the corridor in the middle of the night. In addition, the water pipes in the bathroom make a loud noise. In short, it is worth the 900 night price.
The hotel is a bit old but the location is very convenient. The room space is not small. The hotel has airport pick-up at the designated location of the hotel shuttles on the arrival floor, which is easy to find. Although there are shuttle buses every half hour, they are not on time. Place is massive. We were there for a Christmas party thrown by a company. The parking is ridiculously priced, thank goodness the company validated some of it. And also the hotel is a little dated. I have been here for a month now and overall good experience. Management is extremely nice and helpful. However the people who live here are rude and inconsiderate. The employees were professional and really liked their jobs. The rooms were clean, has a nice nautical theme, and still looked new. The location on the wharf was great since dozens of restaurants were within a few hundred yards. It was also close enough to the National mall to walk. Finally, there were lots of e-bikes, traditional bikes, and scooters close by.
The room itself was comfortable and designed nicely. It wasn’t until the next morning when we had to take showers that we were extremely disappointed to find that there wasn’t enough water pressure to take a proper shower, nor was the water hot. The button to turn on the handheld shower didn’t work at all. It was upsetting to say the least.
Amazing location. The service was top notch and I thought the rooms were great. Breakfast was advertised to start at 0630 but I had to work to actually get service at 0630. Still, I enjoyed my stay and the benefits of the close proximity to the Wharf cannot be overstated.

Great location closed to everything so yummy super comfortable and clean 100 % super clean the best everyone extremely professional

This Thompson Hotel in Washington DC is a wonderful property: personnel, location, service, amenities, restaurant... all fantastic! Before I arrived, I received communication from Guest Services Manager Binny, and he was fantastic to let me know more about the property, my Globalist benefits, and inquired how he could assist so that my stay was as best as possible. And he did, but so did the other...
Great place to stay, will more than likely stay here again when going back to DC. It’s in a great spot for restaurants and so close to the metro. Something to be aware of that is common in the city is they have valet parking at a price, and while there are parking garages/lots around as well, it still was between the $30-40 range over night. For me this was not a dealbreaker as I had anticipated this...
I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights for a conference. The location and the service is great. The rooms are clean and very nice and the staff are very nice. I had my car and used valet parking. Javon was very helpful and parked and brought my car a couple of times when I needed it. I greatly appreciate his service. I will definitely go back to this hotel and will recommend my friends and family.
I recently stayed at the Thompson DC and had a fantastic experience. The property is well-run, and everyone was super friendly. I checked in on Sunday, and as a Globalist, I was recognized and upgraded to a suite, which was a pleasant surprise. The valet service on both Sunday and Monday was friendly and efficient, making our arrival and departure seamless. Breakfast was delicious, and I was glad...
Hip and mid century modern decor, situated in a pretty good location in the navy yard district. We had no problem finding parking nearby and plenty of things to do in the area. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated, and service was great. They cleaned our room even though we came back at odd hours to take a nap, which was hugely appreciated. I would definitely recommend.
It is a modern hotel and well designed and beautiful. The rooms are excellent and the bed was comfortable.

Fu Service is average, food and desserts are average, environment is elegant, sanitation Facility is medium level, food and beverage service is too slow
The service is average. The shower items are not updated in time. It is very close to the Tidal Basin. It is the best choice for viewing cherry blossoms. It only takes a few minutes to walk from the hotel. You can see the Jefferson Memorial in the room
OK, the hotel service is very good
The room was nice, but there was no coffee machine. Breakfast is more expensive, but feels relatively ordinary. Not worth it. The location is good, close to the pier, and there is a path leading directly to the pier.
Beautiful hotel, great breakfast, big room
The room is very nice and the hotel is close to the pier. 15 minutes walk from the White House

Service was sweet, reasonably priced, and the rooms are cozy. The only thing I didn't like was the $50 security deposit that I was aware of in advance and I recommend you pay it in cash so you can recieve your money back on the day you check out. Also there is only one ice machine and its in the basement. Other than that if you want to get away please go and relax have the night to yourself or with...
Decently located hotel for those looking to stay in either the newer Yards area or needing decent access to the Capitol area. Little noise despite the nearby freeway. During the week, there's a shuttle to get you to the Mall area, but there is also a Metro stop within walking distance. Our weekend rate made this a very economical place to stay.
I've stayed here several times and I've always had a great experience. The staff is always very pleasant and quick to offer advice to travelers who are looking for things to do in the area. The hotel is located in a safe, clean neighborhood within walking distance to many great restaurants.
It provides the basics, and served our purpose.. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. My challenge was the lack of central AC. The room was cooled via one old school wall unit. It was not enough to keep the room sufficiently cool at night. I was continuously waking up throughout the night.
Really great value hotel and the staff are nice. Comfortable clean rooms and great bar. There's a free shuttle bus to tourist attractions in the mornings. However I only rate 3 stars because the pool was closed and this was the main reason we booked here. The weather was consistently in high 80's so how silly not to extend the season when it's so hot. We enjoyed bar food on our first night so the...
Staff have been very nice and helpful when I definitely needed help! The AC in my room is pretty loud but you get used to it. It's located downtown right in the middle of a lot of fun places. Parking is expensive so we parked on the street without a problem.

Busy hotel, elevators were always a battle to get on. Rooms were okay, but the upkeep is poor. My ceiling leaked the first day we were there, the shower curtain was disgusting, and I was pretty sure that the bathroom vent was blocked up. I reported the issues to the front desk and nothing was done. The location is very good for access to the mall, it's a short walk to two metro stations which is great...
A well located hotel to all your key attractions. If you enjoy walking in your walking shoes this location is for you. Get your workout and enjoy the tourist attractions all day. Never thought it would be a big buck saver. No taxis or Ubers needed. Just walk to and from hotel. I loved this location a lot.
Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a resort. This web site will compare thousands of hotel sites and normally will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is one of my favorites in the area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you stay for a few nights you definitely won't regret it. Convenient location, fairly close to the Smithsonian museums and...

Great location, great room, great service. The only thing I would say might be a negative is you really can't have more than 2 people in these rooms. It's just too tight. But they are cool rooms, they are clean, they are in a great location and I would absolutely stay here again if I'm on a trip solo or with my spouse.
The rooms are definitely smaller than a “standard” hotel room but worked just fine for two people. The whole bathroom situation was rough (glass walls meant that water seeped out onto the floor, very little privacy, poor water pressure and extremely hard water in the shower) but the iPad controlled room was nice, with built in chromecast and some fun lighting options. Staff was really nice and helpful...
We stayed for 4 nights and everything about the hotel was nice. Starting with a warm welcome from the reception staff member, the cleaners which made every wish possible, up to the breakfast which was small but everything you could ask for! Thanks a lot to the whole team for making our hotel experience very nice. :) Best regards, Kim, Thomas & Robby
Lovely little spot - emphasis on little. This room reminds me of a cruise ship. Very small and very minimal. If you’re someone who needs white noise, or a fan blowing, this isn’t for you. The rooms lowest temp is 64 degrees and then you can’t feel any wind or fan blowing at all. Showers are nice and have the products and location and all. The fridge is small and there is only 1 drawer and 2 hangers...
A contemporary, party-vibe hotel on walking distance to many popular sights in the city. A stones throw from the Smithsonian. We stayed in a double standard with King size bed. We chose facing the courtyard for more silence which worked fine until the freight trains passes by... (didn't happen very often though). The bed could sleep three but the room was only big enough for one. It's very "compact...
Overall it was a good hotel, we really enjoyed the bar and breakfast. The shower's door has some gap so water can get out, for a longer stay it could be annoying. I also didn't feel comfortable using Shampoo/body wash to wash my hair. And no conditionner. Everyone at the hotel were helpful and nice. The check-in on the tablet is fine but since you still need to talk to someone to check ID and credit...

Big rooms but were a bit dated. Housecleaning everyday but wasnt really satisfied with how well they cleaned the room. We were assigned at 2F at the side next to metro station, so yes it was quite load On the upside, hotel was very accessible. Walking distance to the Capitol and several of the museums.
Great location. Check is at 3. My room wasn't ready until 3:40. Reception very slow. My room wasn't cleaned the first night. After exploring I returned to the hotel and couldn't get to my room. You have to scan your key in the elevator and mine didn't work. Had to go stand in the slow reception line. Hot water was hit or miss. Breakfast was NOT included. There are no restaurants in the area...
We enjoyed our stay. The area was really quiet at night and very close to the national mall. The room was clean and the staff was nice. We found a few places to eat in the area that were good and reasonably priced too. Try Two Sisters Deli for breakfast and sub sandwiches. The My Own Pizza spot was good for a slice of pizza. My favorite was the Potbelly Sandwich shop near the Bible Museum. The sandwich...
Perfect location, very affordable & very friendly employees. The rooms need TLC and they need valet, especially for $53 a day parking, but if location is your priority and you’ll be visiting museums majority of your trip, this hotel is worth the price savings. We also enjoyed having a Starbucks inside. Oh and a forewarning, the walls are paper thin. We could hear every single word, sneeze & cough from...
Rooms are dated. Were here for one night so there was no opportunity for the staff to correct the issues we had, but nothing was so problematic that I asked to change rooms. The good: The beds were comfortable The shower was clean The room was comfortable (temperature) The bad: Carpet needs to be replaced (or deep cleaned) Sink was slow to drain (I'm sure this is an easy fix) Light in our shower...
This hotel had great customer service. Everything was sanitary and I didn't run into any problems at all. The staff was friendly and it is an ideal location as there are many places of interest within a 15 minute walking distance.
