Great location. Check is at 3. My room wasn't ready until 3:40. Reception very slow. My room wasn't cleaned the first night. After exploring I returned to the hotel and couldn't get to my room. You have to scan your key in the elevator and mine didn't work. Had to go stand in the slow reception line. Hot water was hit or miss. Breakfast was NOT included. There are no restaurants in the area except for the over priced restaurant in the hotel. Something needs to be done with how the doors slam. I don't think I would stay here again.

Big rooms but were a bit dated. Housecleaning everyday but wasnt really satisfied with how well they cleaned the room. We were assigned at 2F at the side next to metro station, so yes it was quite load

On the upside, hotel was very accessible. Walking distance to the Capitol and several of the museums.

We enjoyed our stay. The area was really quiet at night and very close to the national mall. The room was clean and the staff was nice. We found a few places to eat in the area that were good and reasonably priced too. Try Two Sisters Deli for breakfast and sub sandwiches. The My Own Pizza spot was good for a slice of pizza. My favorite was the Potbelly Sandwich shop near the Bible Museum. The sandwich and soup combo was delicious. It was a lot of food for a meal- full salad and sandwich for $12-13 bucks. We would stay here again.

Perfect location, very affordable & very friendly employees. The rooms need TLC and they need valet, especially for $53 a day parking, but if location is your priority and you’ll be visiting museums majority of your trip, this hotel is worth the price savings. We also enjoyed having a Starbucks inside. Oh and a forewarning, the walls are paper thin. We could hear every single word, sneeze & cough from the family next door.

Rooms are dated. Were here for one night so there was no opportunity for the staff to correct the issues we had, but nothing was so problematic that I asked to change rooms.

The good:
The beds were comfortable
The shower was clean
The room was comfortable (temperature)

The bad:
Carpet needs to be replaced (or deep cleaned)
Sink was slow to drain (I'm sure this is an easy fix)
Light in our shower was flickering, but we just didn't use it while in the bathroom.

Overall, I'd stay here again. The price was reasonable compared to other hotels in the area.

+ Very conveniently located! Easy to reach and within walking distance of National Mall and so much more. Super comfy bedding, very spacious, nice work area, great shower! Front desk to housekeeping - very welcoming, friendly, and professional.

+ The hotel is located in the middle of all the museums and other landmarks which people would want to see. The hotel is ideally located for many people to take a bus to the train and the train stop is only a 2-3 walk to hotel. The bed was comfortable, hot shower and room well heated. Room was clean. Hotel staff was very helpful. After checking out, I was able to leave my bag there for a few hours.
- Restaurant was closed. I know this could be due to the Pandemic and I understand.

1. 2 stars because great location. That's all.
2. Trains are very close and very loud.
3. Walls are paper thin. Can hear everything going on next to us and in the halls.
4. AC unit was functioning but damaged. Loud and grinding sounds. Like having a generator in the room with us.

Overall, would not stay here again.

+ Hotel was VERY close to the mall and subway station. My room was clean and a good size. The check-in / check-out staff were very friendly. The hotel bar was exceptionally wonderful and unexpected. There was a live jazz band that was phenomenal.
- The air conditioning in the room was way too loud. I just turned it off completely.

This hotel had great customer service. Everything was sanitary and I didn't run into any problems at all. The staff was friendly and it is an ideal location as there are many places of interest within a 15 minute walking distance.
