Reviews
If you’re someone who needs white noise, or a fan blowing, this isn’t for you. The rooms lowest temp is 64 degrees and then you can’t feel any wind or fan blowing at all.
Showers are nice and have the products and location and all. The fridge is small and there is only 1 drawer and 2 hangers to really hang things up.
Small but for a quick trip it works fine. Located by a Starbucks and walking distance to the monuments. No microwave in the room. But there’s a rooftop sushi bar and a lobby bar.
I will say the lobby bar is slow service so don’t go in a rush.
Still very cute and modern looking. Not spacious but dark and cozy rooms. Also love how they have water refills and canteens to take
Staff was really nice and helpful when the app check-in wasn’t working, and great location as it’s within walking distance to both the wharf and the national mall.
Thanks a lot to the whole team for making our hotel experience very nice. :)
Best regards,
Kim, Thomas & Robby
We stayed in a double standard with King size bed. We chose facing the courtyard for more silence which worked fine until the freight trains passes by... (didn't happen very often though). The bed could sleep three but the room was only big enough for one. It's very "compact living". If I'd stayed here on my own, I might have enjoyed it more, but now it just became very difficult and that deducted one star. The bathroom is in the actual room itself, which becomes a little weird, especially when the door doesn't really close (something was wrong with ours) and it's just a glass door. The sink is outside the "bathroom pod" because it wouldn't fit otherwise. The entire room was controlled with a surf pad which was kind of cool. The bed was very comfy! High level of cleanliness. Staff was very helpful and attentive. The downstairs bar/restaurant is OK as a last resort if you just need something before bedtime. Breakfast had a smaller selection of options but it was sufficient enough. The lobby was a good hang out spot.
Everyone at the hotel were helpful and nice.
The check-in on the tablet is fine but since you still need to talk to someone to check ID and credit card, I still prefer that they do the checking. It didn't feel fast, maybe too many pages on the screen?
The room itself was nice and I loved the lights and blinds.
The rooms were compact and the bed was comfortable, plus the hotel was only a short walk from the national mall. However being south of the national mall means there isn't much nearby in the way of restaurants. The hotel itself has a bar in the lobby that served decent drinks and the worst pizza I've ever had.
The common seating areas were nicely decorated and the room control tablet was neat if a little gimmicky.
Overall a good choice for an affordable hotel, but the setup may not be what some people are looking for.
