Lovely little spot - emphasis on little. This room reminds me of a cruise ship. Very small and very minimal.

If you’re someone who needs white noise, or a fan blowing, this isn’t for you. The rooms lowest temp is 64 degrees and then you can’t feel any wind or fan blowing at all.

Showers are nice and have the products and location and all. The fridge is small and there is only 1 drawer and 2 hangers to really hang things up.

Small but for a quick trip it works fine. Located by a Starbucks and walking distance to the monuments. No microwave in the room. But there’s a rooftop sushi bar and a lobby bar.

I will say the lobby bar is slow service so don’t go in a rush.

Still very cute and modern looking. Not spacious but dark and cozy rooms. Also love how they have water refills and canteens to take

Great location, great room, great service. The only thing I would say might be a negative is you really can't have more than 2 people in these rooms. It's just too tight. But they are cool rooms, they are clean, they are in a great location and I would absolutely stay here again if I'm on a trip solo or with my spouse.

The rooms are definitely smaller than a “standard” hotel room but worked just fine for two people. The whole bathroom situation was rough (glass walls meant that water seeped out onto the floor, very little privacy, poor water pressure and extremely hard water in the shower) but the iPad controlled room was nice, with built in chromecast and some fun lighting options.

Staff was really nice and helpful when the app check-in wasn’t working, and great location as it’s within walking distance to both the wharf and the national mall.

We stayed for 4 nights and everything about the hotel was nice. Starting with a warm welcome from the reception staff member, the cleaners which made every wish possible, up to the breakfast which was small but everything you could ask for!

Thanks a lot to the whole team for making our hotel experience very nice. :)

Best regards,
Kim, Thomas & Robby

A contemporary, party-vibe hotel on walking distance to many popular sights in the city. A stones throw from the Smithsonian.
We stayed in a double standard with King size bed. We chose facing the courtyard for more silence which worked fine until the freight trains passes by... (didn't happen very often though). The bed could sleep three but the room was only big enough for one. It's very "compact living". If I'd stayed here on my own, I might have enjoyed it more, but now it just became very difficult and that deducted one star. The bathroom is in the actual room itself, which becomes a little weird, especially when the door doesn't really close (something was wrong with ours) and it's just a glass door. The sink is outside the "bathroom pod" because it wouldn't fit otherwise. The entire room was controlled with a surf pad which was kind of cool. The bed was very comfy! High level of cleanliness. Staff was very helpful and attentive. The downstairs bar/restaurant is OK as a last resort if you just need something before bedtime. Breakfast had a smaller selection of options but it was sufficient enough. The lobby was a good hang out spot.

Wasn’t sure at first… Check in process was hassle free, loved that I could do it myself, not much available to help bring heavy/large luggage around but I managed. Room was smaller than I thought with an unorthodox style but the bed was massive and incredibly comfortable. Loved the fluffy pillows and the tablet being able to operate absolutely everything. The different cool soaps, tap water is safe to drink, then when I asked for cleaning, they weren’t sure when they’d get to it… then did it within hours which was a pleasant surprise. Modern, elegant, and hotel of the future… would stay again!

Overall it was a good hotel, we really enjoyed the bar and breakfast. The shower's door has some gap so water can get out, for a longer stay it could be annoying. I also didn't feel comfortable using Shampoo/body wash to wash my hair. And no conditionner.
Everyone at the hotel were helpful and nice.
The check-in on the tablet is fine but since you still need to talk to someone to check ID and credit card, I still prefer that they do the checking. It didn't feel fast, maybe too many pages on the screen?
The room itself was nice and I loved the lights and blinds.

This hotel is great if you only need a place to sleep, shower, and keep a suitcase.
The rooms were compact and the bed was comfortable, plus the hotel was only a short walk from the national mall. However being south of the national mall means there isn't much nearby in the way of restaurants. The hotel itself has a bar in the lobby that served decent drinks and the worst pizza I've ever had.
The common seating areas were nicely decorated and the room control tablet was neat if a little gimmicky.

Overall a good choice for an affordable hotel, but the setup may not be what some people are looking for.

This hotel exceeded all my expectations. We were looking for an affordable stay next to the mall. Not only was this both of those things it was a great place to stay. The small room was cozy and romantic for my husband and I. The hotel decor is modern and fun. Every staff member was very helpful. We went on the rooftop at night and were able to see the city. I can only rave about this hotel!

Very interesting design and vibe in this hotel. Self check in with computers was available on walk in. Very secure, a key card is needed to access room floors. The rooms are admittedly small, but with a very unique design. The bed is flush against the window and takes up the most space in the room. If you want to look out the window you need to climb across the bed. Shower area is frosted glass, very Asian style in the toilet/shower area with the sink being in the main room. It was fun as a solo traveler, with another guest might have been a bit weird. IPad controls everything from lights to climate control. Very affordable compared to other local hotels. I would stay again, but pack lighter. The room area is quite small
