Comfort Inn Downtown

I highly advise no one to stay here! 🚫No stars if i had a choice. My bus was delayed at Greyhound needed a room to stay overnight $225.00 for a dirty, bad smelling, outdated and broken furniture was too expensive. Bathroom so disgusting I couldn’t take a shower in it. Bathroom counter legs falling off. Tub gritty and need repsiring. Shower head sprinkled water from top when i turned it on. Pet hair in dryer.😬 No manager on duty. Very pleasant front desk rep tried her best to stay professional and apologetic. I should have read the reviews prior to recommending. Would have felt cleaner in the Greyhound bus station. Was advised the room normally is $60 but increased price due to festivities going on in the area. Very disappointed. Will be talking to corporate. Not acceptable 👎🏼

First of all, I NEVER EVER leave reviews. But this experience was so horrible that I had to share. I made an advance reservation for one night at the Comfort Inn. At 9:45 at night (about 15 minutes before we were going to check in), the hotel agent called me and said that they had overbooked and I no longer had a reservation there. She said they were sending me to a different "sister" hotel. When we drove by this other hotel, it was NOT in a safe area and I had small children with me. I called Comfort Inn back and told them I did not feel comfortable staying at the sister hotel and to please cancel our reservation. The lady that I spoke with said that she would.
Fast forward 2 days. My credit card was charged for the hotel stay! When I called to inquire, I spoke to Donna Austin, who was the rudest hotel agent I have ever spoken to. She would not listen to a single thing I had to say and interrupted every time I would start to speak. She literally YELLED at me and when I requested (calmly) that I would like her manager's name, she told me that she was the general manager. When I asked for the name of the district manager, she absolutely refused to give it to me and then proceeded to hang up on me. Despite calling multiple times and a 3rd party travel service call, Donna refused to discuss it with any of us and refused to refund us for the hotel stay. An unpleasant experience made 1000 times worse by Donna's rudeness and unprofessionalism.

It was horrible the elevator missing light and stop is on the fourth floor when we supposed to go out on the 5th. The room was dirty it was hair all in the tub and sink. It was only one sheet on the bed no comforter when you walk in the hotel is smell like Boo Boo. Then I'm supposed to have a Jacuzzi room and they downgraded me to a regular room. The heat didn't work it cut off my friend got sick cuz it was so cold in the room

Ice machine was broken. They stop making breakfast an hour before the closing time so "they don't have to throw any food away". Why can't you at least bring out some bread? How do you mess up cereal? The air conditioner blasts a moldy smell throughout the room. Overall, worst hotel I've ever been to. That's about it.
