Downtown location, and walking distance to Downtown.
Two friends and I had an excellent 3 nights at this hotel. The upsides: +Room was pristine. +Room came stocked with cookware in case you need it, but... +...with so many food options nearby (including a great vegan food truck on the eastern side of the block) we never cooked. +The staff were all super nice and helpful. +Located very near the Capitol, and a short walk from sixth street (for food...
Downtown hotel with a modern decor and functional room layout. Hotel parking is valet only, but it is available 24/7. Close to several excellent bars and restaurants. There is a seating area outside that includes a fire pit, BBQ grills, and a pool. There is a bar in the lobby and breakfast is served in the mornings. Good value and location. Lower floors can be a bit noisy.
Very nice hotel in a crumby part of town. My wife and I visited this hotel during a business trip. I was very impressed. The rooms were very nice and was very large. The bed was firm but comfortable. There was a microwave, fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer, TV, blackout shades, etc. The room was very clean and even had a thermostat. The hotel’s common areas were very modern. Their gym has Life Fitness...
The hotel looks newly decorated, staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were above what I expected for the price. Excellent hotel. Oh, and that omelet bar? It's a full and delicious continental breakfast with better food than any I've had, plus an omelet bar. Even the coffee was good. A+
The hotel is very nice with clean rooms and friendly staff. There is a nice outdoor fire pit. The decor is spartan and almost has the feel of a college dorm. But it is quiet and comfortable. Breakfast is included. There is a very large group of homeless people camped out about two blocks down the street. The neighborhood is a bit removed and not the best for strolling around. I used Uber and got where...

Based on my experience here, this hotel was great overall. The location is fantastic with various places within a very short walking distance (examples: restaurants such as Snow Pea and more, HEB grocery store, Alamo Drafthouse Movie Theater, etc.). The customer service I received at the hotel was very good. The hotel was comfortable and it maintained a comfortable, modern atmosphere. There is a bar...
Don’t know what’s with all the other 3 star reviews but I had no problem with staying at this location. Rooms were clean and quiet. The location was in walking distance to tons of restaurants, a movie theater, HEB groceries which I found surprisingly when it risk business being taking from them with folks eating at the hotel. Staff was pretty chill and professional. Greeted you as you came and go....
We stayed for 4 nights and over all had a good visit. Staying that long I felt like we needed a room freshen around day 2 but the could not do that, we were given new towels though, that was nice. Pros- the front desk staff was very kind and had some good recommendations on places to go/ visit The gym was nice and was great for a quick workout The hot tub worked well Cons- the room temperature was...
I have stayed at this Aloft several times and have had exceptional experiences. I want to commend Lester and Daniel, two outstanding associates who consistently go above and beyond. They warmly welcome every guest with a smile and maintain a pleasant demeanor, creating a great atmosphere. I also want to mention that the general manager, Taylor, has helped contribute to my amazing experience. The housekeeping...
location is phenomenal. It’s surrounded by lots of great restaurants, less than 5 minutes walk to HEB, activities all around, right off the highway and less than 20 minutes from downtown Austin. The staff was phenomenal. I can not thank Brittany and Meghan enough for making this stay simple and memorable. You have a for life with me.
I liked the vibe of this hotel. I stay in a lot of hotels and this one was on the nicer side for the price I paid. The live music each night was a nice touch as well. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The bed was very nice and the shower was outstanding. I would stay again and highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent amenities, rooftop bar and city views in the room. Full fridge, stove and dishwasher in the room.
Good location, minimalistic hotel rooms and breakfast options were modest. Suite was disappointing. No scenic view and not as spacious as we hoped.
I think they designed this place for me. Great staff, great breakfast, great style, great vibe. Would love to stay here again. Till next time! Cole was super friendly and welcoming at check in, too.
Pet friendly, modern decor and great customer service. Well located downtown; easy to avoid their ridiculous $43/day valet by using the spothero app to find cheap overnight parking close by. Fast elevators and good coffee shop on the first floor
Wow! My husband and I travel A LOT and this hotel has been AMAZING. The facility is beautiful and well taken care of. Everyone has been a complete pleasure to deal with. Our room has a microwave and a small fridge. (Not mini) it’s been great for me because I have lots of food allergies and we’ve been able to shop and have stuff for me. This is always a problem when we travel. We’ve loved staying here...
New, modern hotel in downtown Austin. What's not to like? Everything was clean and felt as though I was the first person to stay in my room. Breakfast was simple, but tasty. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Big shout out to Ryan for looking after me and answering all my questions in relation to facilities and the area. Always a good stay to a stay when you are a solo female traveller from England. Thank you. Good location for bars, restaurants and the Capitol building. Nice, clean room. No issues with noise. Large bathroom, good hot water pressure. Sink had counter space to put make up out etc...
What a difference staying on the other side of this building makes! With my last visit to Austin, I stood at the Holiday Inn opposite this hotel a few months ago, and had a terrible experience. This time I thought I'd try this side of the hotel, and I was blown away by how much better the experience was. First, the check in. With my last visit to the Holiday Inn, they wouldn't let me check in until...
Friendly staff and easy accessibility to downtown. Lobby is spacious with nice seating and a bar. Cool decorations in the lobby and the valets were quick. Room was decent. Door stuck a bit and the window was foggy from a bad seal. Pool area was big and had an outdoor bar and covered seating areas. Pool was shallow and there is no jacuzzi. One side of pool has a pretty good view of the city (good at...
Great experience from the moment we walked in the door! Johnathan greeted us very warm and welcoming! The room was spacious. The only thing was the air conditioner was loud all the time. But it was manageable. The hotel is in a great spot from nightlife and food! Definitely coming back to stay here!
The rooms are quite large and cosy, great location for sixth street and the staff were very lovely!!
Fantastic location and nice hotel. Oscar at the front desk was very helpful and friendly helping us with our needs. Comfortable beds and ample clean bathrooms. Love the showers! There is no parking lot, but the hotel offers a valet service that is efficient and affordable. Would stay here again.

Clean pet friendly hotel. No breakfast. Great price. No complaints on my side at all.
Customer service was subpar. Kicked us out after they mistakenly booked us under age. Carla, the large heavyset woman at the counter, was one of the rudest people I've dealt with. Find a better place there's a bunch of hotels on this st. don't pick this one.
Quick service, but thin walls. In-room amenities are dated but functional. Wifi is free, decently fast, and easy to connect to. Beds are beds, and check-in and out were quick and efficient. One issue is thin walls, which leaked sound from the hallway and adjacent rooms. Good value for the price.
The hotel was decent for the price, but what made the difference was the staff. They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was a good one.
I didn't go in the rooms. I just went to have a drink with my friend. It was very good service. Wasn't the nicest atmosphere but the service was great
We were half expecting a grimy budget motel but were pleasantly surprised as our room was renovated and clean. They upgraded our room without extra charge and also accepted our cat without any extra charges. There's no breakfast but coffee and tea available. The only negative point for me was the unbelievably loud AC unit in the room. Otherwise, and especially if your expectations are low going in...

The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel bartenders were fantastic. However, the hotel overall wasn’t in the best shape. Almost everything is outdated from the lobby to the rooms, and our room had water stains on the ceiling by the AC unit as well as in the hallway. Beds were comfy, but the room itself left much to be desired as it was very bland and the TV had screen issues. Was not a terrible...
This hotel is outdated and needs some attention. My husband and I stayed here for one night for a UT game. Our room was on the fourth floor. The AC was very loud, the sink was cracked in the front, and the room was just tired-looking. It was clean though. The check-in process was fine. They have a nice-looking bar but only one bartender which was surprising for a Saturday evening prior to a UT game...
Would leave 0 if I could. I had a reservation (supposedly). When I landed at 11:40 pm I received a phone call advising me that they did not have a room for me. Really? Where am I supposed to sleep in my car? Don’t book this hotel. They will leave you out in the street! Completely unacceptable! Update - the hotel management put me up in another hotel (comped) as well as covered the next night...
Very nice facilities, huge workout room, friendly staff. Rooms aren’t big, but they’re comfy and have everything you need. Double Tree also has amazing, fresh-baked warm cookies that they’ll give you upon check-in (and sometimes as requested at the front desk, ha). My only complaint is that the interior rooms facing the bar can be a bit noisy depending on the crowd down there at night. Also can hear...
I had a leak in my room from the air conditioning unit at 10:30 at night. I called the front desk and had someone at my door with a new room key within 90 seconds, a maintenance guy appeared minutes after as I was packing up my stuff, and I was comfortably in a new room within 5 minutes of calling the front desk. Profuse apologies all around. Impeccable service here!
I have stayed here twice now and both times the service desk clerks were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is very nice and is much bigger on the inside than it appears on the outside. There is a large bar and media area with rows of flat screen TVs showing different channels on the walls, several computers, and access to a 24-hour fitness center that's more than adequate for a great...

Staff were very friendly and helpful. From check in to airport shuttle. Multiple staff surprised me with eagerness to ensure everything with our stay was great. Highly recommend.
Nice place. Staff were nice. Pretty good free breakfast. Size of the room was great. Get the room with the double queen size bed + tub if you’ve got kids. You’ll want it and will like it because it’s spacious and can allow you to set up a pack and play in a good spot. See my picture for my setup.
I stayed here for work. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and comfortable. I had to leave the for the airport at 4am. Angela was working at the front desk. Not only did she greet us with a friendly, welcoming attitude, but she also had coffee already made and snacks for early departing customers. Thank you, Angela!!!
Comfortable beds. Good size rooms. Close to airport with good shuttle service
Easy access to the airport. Great place to stay when you have to leave on an early morning flight air a late night arrival. Good breakfast. Good bar with plenty of bar bites to order. Top notch staff! Highly recommended!!
Staff efficiency, positive attitude, is Amazing! Location close to the Airport is a plus ! Room was cozy... Breakfast was delicious! Late night pizza ! Yummy.. My only negative review would be the pool .. at the time we stayed there in February 2022 , it was really cold in the mid 30s. Pool sign stated it was a heated pool.. water was Ice cold. You get what you pay for. At least no bed bugs were found...or at least visable that is. The place is dingy. The towels smelled like smoke in the NON SMOKING room. The air conditioner was not working well the refrigerator was too cold. Sadly we found out the hard way when our sodas were African in the morning. The pool was the best part of the stay. I would sadly stay again for the price only. The...
Nice clean rooms. But the other guests ruined any good impression. Several set up chairs in the walkways and carried on late into the night, music blaring. Other rooms nearby were also loud. TVs and music thudding through the walls. Hotel staff seemed inexperienced or exhausted. Parking on the weekends was problematic. I understand some of these issues are outside of what La Quinta can control. But...
While the hotel is dated, the rooms are clean and well-maintained. This is the first LaQuinta I have stayed in that does not include a refrigerator in the room, but otherwise it is much as you would expect. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable.
Good enough room for the price. AC is somewhat quiet, bed comfortable, big bathroom, nice TV with a good selection of channels. Wifi connection is stable and the speed is adequate. No fridge but a full ironing set. This room, 212 is in the back, seems quiet enough, cant really hear the interstate traffic. Front desk staff very professional, quick check in and even a phone call to my room to check...
The maids are so generous & clean the room for u everyday to their very best ability. The whole entire staff is pretty nice & stores are walking distance. Only thing is they dont come with microwaves or fridges & they only have drinking vending machines not food machines.

Good hotel, good location. 10 minutes away by taxi to the student area. 25 minutes away from downtown. Friendly staff, descent breakfast and well equipped rooms. If I have to stay in Austin again I would book this hotel again.
Had to go there for a work event. Temperature in the room was just right, not too hot, not an icebox like so many others. Staff greeted us immediately on entry and directed us to the proper room. Restaurant smelled good.
Fine for the event I attended, big enough room for everyone included. Got pretty cold after a few hours, but otherwise fine.
In town for work. Great location. Easy check in. Friendly staff. Decent size room. Would definitely stay here again.
We liked it! We did the weekend getaway package including breakfast... best hotel breakfast yet. Staff is spprochable and very friendly. Room was very clean. I choose the 5th floor... it was pretty quiet. We will be back for a weekend getaway.
A really nice hotel with very friendly staff. Snacks sold by the check in desk. Food available on premise. A BBQ restaurant right in front as well as a 7/11 walkable. Was a nice stay. Clean rooms. Pool/Gym.

Room was a good size with a very comfortable bed, plenty of sockets for plugging in appliances and a socket with USB points. Staff were very friendly and quick to rectify any problems.
Woke up with maintenance guy standing over me. Eff this. Not a safe place to stay. Front desk staff offered to check me out “for free”. Horrible.
Great Service and Comfortable Rooms. Definitely would stay again. Just don't expect big bowls for cereal to be available, if that's something your going to request.
Nice overall. Major negatives were the bathroom and noise level. The bathroom was so small the door could not open all the way. It would hit the shower. The ceiling in the bathroom only appeared to be 6'8? I am 6'5 and it felt very closed in. The noise level between rooms was fine but the windows were low quality that every outside noise could be heard. I was frequently woken up throughout the night...
Room was better than expected. Everything was clean. Small area of the ceiling in my room seemed to have water damage. Not sure how that happened. Also, the light next to the king bed was not operating correctly. But these were both small things to me. Still a great hotel!
Perfectly decent hotel. Not amazing, but we got a great price... free breakfast was standard fare, but tasty. Comfy bed. Shower only, no bathtub in our room. I'd stay here again.

Very spacious!! The suite came with 2 bedrooms having their own full bath. That’s was amazing!! We also had a small kitchen AND a beautiful fireplace. The staff was helpful, courteous and professional.
Nice, clean, comfortable suites, and attentive staff. Appliances and AC a bit noisy through the night; likewise the highway is quite proximate and busy so traffic noise is noticeable - but not enough to keep a tired traveller awake.
Great location. Really nice place for a quick visit or a lengthy stay. From the front desk all the way through all the employees, everyone was kind and willing to help! Will stay again in the future and continue to choose Marriott on other travel adventures
This is a very good option for extended stay. Staying here because my home is under repair. Very clean, easy to settle in and quiet. Very friendly staff. Continental breakfast includes bagels, breads, scrambled eggs, waffles, sausage, cereal, juice, and coffee. Rooms clean except we had a lizard in our room.

Clean, modern rooms. Front desk, maid service, bistro, Starbucks, excellent service all around. We have two small children and they had a great time at the indoor pool and enjoyed the delicious breakfast we ordered at the bistro. The location affords easy access to everything Austin has to offer and plenty of options within walking distance of the hotel. This is our go-to place to stay when in Austin
I am 57 years old and have no visible disabilities but I do need basic safety measures to help with balance and stability. For example, a grab bar in the shower area. Without one, a fall in the shower would invite a lawsuit. In addition, there is a great need for additional and accessible power outlets and more counter space. I appreciate the in-room coffee. We stay here because my sister likes...
The rooms are nice, recently remodeled and the staff and has been very friendly and helpful. The beds and linens are comfortable. The location is very convenient. The only thing I don't like is there is only one elevator for the entire hotel so sometimes you have to wait a hit.
Well, the staff is friendly, the room is nice. Spacious enough for 3. ( 2 adults and a small child) beds are comfy, pillows are great! Complimentary waters and breakfast. Have yet to check out the bistro.. All in all.. Great time. Ooh! I even have a balcony!
The property was a typical Courtyard - clean and a courteous staff. What set this location apart was the service. We were passing through on an anniversary trip and the staff brought a care package to our room, along with a personalized note wishing us congratulations. Totally unnecessary and unexpected, but definitely appreciated. The human touch was amazing. Thank you!!
Clean and comfortable. Staff was very nice. It was a quick overnight and had no time to explore surrounding area, but the hotel was very nice.

The rooms in here are great, the service is good or OK, but the location leaves much to be desired. This is OK if you want to avoid the crowds and not be close to all the fun things to do in Austin. I guess you can always drive or walk a lot or use a scooter.
Cub Wyndham Austin is a trendy upscale hotel with amenities galore. We stayed in a two bedroom suite. Loved having the foosball table and spacious balcony. 2nd time staying here and I really like it here. Very comfortable and accommodating. Lots of shops, eats, and activities around the area. Staff is very courteous, friendly and helpful. This hotel is in a really interesting spot. It sits directly in the airports runway flight path. It's not the best or most scenic area but it's very close to the mall and a host of eating places. Great staff who can accommodate every minor request. Delicious complimentary breakfast that's pre-packaged to be Covid-safe. Spacious and cleanly rooms, and attention to detail to keep it feeling homely. Easily accessible from major highways, with lots of walkable food options nearby. I was staying here because my son was in the hospital, it was a difficult week, the staff made us feel at home and safe. We hope to come back in the future for a fun trip.
Decent hotel, but some minor changes here and there will go a long way. Nice updated rooms, stocked kitchenette. Good location, but the parking lot is too small for the number of guests (we have had to park in nearby Home Depot lot overnight at risk of towing). I went in thinking it would be a bit dated, but actually the rooms are a good size, the way they have the hotel set up gives you this really cool balcony view to a pool area and pretty good seating area. I wasn't impressed with the food and there was a mix up with some charges to my card. But other than that I liked it here. I didn't care for the location but they try to make up for it.
Beautiful hotel! Extremely friendly and helpful staff! Rooms were very nice and cute artwork throughout hotel! Very clean! Nice restaurant area and a Starbucks available as well! Lovely courtyard areas and scenary! I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family! Will definitely come back here when I return to Austin!
This place is super dope and the pricing was super low for what we got. The room we got was HUGE. The valet parking was a plus and EVERYONE there was helpful and friendly. I definitely will be back when I'm in Austin again.
Nice hotel but was noisy overnight on the weekend (midnight-4am) and when I had to get up early for work on the Sunday morning there were people still partying in the hallway. Clean and well kept rooms. Great restaurant and bar in the lobby.
It was a pleasure staying here. The staff is welcoming and helpful. Check-in and check-out were easy and fast. My room was clean and comfortable. The workout room is fine for a hotel of its size. The location is great for bars nearby. Nice view from my room. The service at the hotel was very good, all hours of the night. I had a terrible experience with a neighboring room (alarm going off for hours starting at 3am). Hotel staff did the best they could under the circumstance.
I had a great stay at this hotel. I really enjoyed being located right on the green belt. Every morning or night I would go for a walk or bike on the path. Really nice pool overlooking the lake. The staff were really nice. Great value for being so close to downtown and the east side
The room was clean and the maid service was polite. They had showers without tubs which I prefer. The view outside my window was of the river and Park and was very nice. Check in was quick and easy.
