Holiday Inn Austin -Town Lake, an IHG Hotel
Austin, 20 North IH-35 🧭 Map
The location is great for bars nearby. Nice view from my room. The service at the hotel was very good, all hours of the night. I had a terrible experience with a neighboring room (alarm going off for hours starting at 3am). Hotel staff did the best they could under the circumstance.
I had a great stay at this hotel. I really enjoyed being located right on the green belt. Every morning or night I would go for a walk or bike on the path. Really nice pool overlooking the lake. The staff were really nice. Great value for being so close to downtown and the east side
The room was clean and the maid service was polite. They had showers without tubs which I prefer. The view outside my window was of the river and Park and was very nice. Check in was quick and easy.
The beds here are never the size they say they are and we always have some other issue with the room. This time it was a broken A/C unit. Eventually it fixed itself, but when we asked the front desk they replied saying there was nothing they could do. There are always problems with the elevators being slow and the place never really seems clean. The location is great for accessing the park, but other...
Nice employees. We had a "partial view" executive room. It was the size of most regular rooms but nicely updated. Very nice view of Austin and the water. It's easy to go for a wonderful walk (or bike ride) by the water. Also very short drive from here to anywhere you'd want to go in Austin. We will return.
Room was nice and clean. Nice to have a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Pillows were not terribly comfortable. A lot of the elevators were non-operational. It seemed like the building was going through a lot of repairs or needed some work.

The concierge was great and very friendly. However, the check in process was rather slow. Waited about 10 minutes before we could talk to a check in agent. Our keys never worked from day 1 and we had to go down to the lobby to get new keys made. The lobby has a small store for drinks, snacks, souvenirs, etc. Room was nice, clean, and updated. The hallways were extremely hot for some reason. The pool...
Very Nice conference meeting room. The hallway was clean, as we're the restrooms. All of the staff i encountered for my needs, had smiling faces, welcomed me and was respectful, friendly, and very eager to help in any way they were ask to help out. I haven't stayed a night yet, so I'm sorry for not having a report on the room's. However, I did pass thru the bar to get a drink for a friend and the bartender...
This hotel is perfect in every way! The people who work here are top notch all the way from the front desk to housekeeping. They never missed a beat! Everything I asked for was taken care of immediately. We ate breakfast and the food & service were fantastic. The hotel is very clean and conveniently located close to all that Austin has to offer. I can't say enough positive things about my experience...

Excellent professionally managed hotel. Great for business visits. Efficient checking and out. Polite and courteous staff.
Only room used was conference room. Room is specious and adequate. Lights work fine. Floor carpet is well decorated. Plenty of seats available. Glass cups could use better wash or rinse.
You can really tell that this hotel goes the extra mile to make you comfortable. I was here on a work trip, and the staff treated myself and my coworkers very well. I love all the Christmas decor! I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was beautiful, the staff were friendly and inviting, the food at the restaurant was affordable and delicious. I had their breakfast tacos, their breakfast buffet, their pizza and onion rings. All of the things were cooked to perfection. The onion rings had a light and airy texture, the pizza was gooey and cheese, while the slices of tomato were juicy and cooked through. The breakfast tacos...
I booked overnight to avoid having to drive to the airport super early in the morning. They have a shuttle whose driver was incredibly nice, the front desk clerks were very courteous and helpful. They even allow you to park your car for a reasonable fee until you return. The beds were comfy and rooms were clean. I really don’t know what more I could have asked for. It checked all our boxes.
The room and location were fine, except for a slight uncleanliness. The service within the hotel restaurant was terrible. I had ordered a burger and it tasted raw and gooey. It also just wasn’t good in general. The water had also tasted like dirt. Then the staff had proceeded to talk rudely about me, and laughed at what I had ordered. 0/10 don’t recommend eating here unless you are looking for bad...
During my recent stay at the Hilton Austin Airport hotel, I had a pleasant experience overall. The room I stayed in was nice and comfortable, providing a cozy atmosphere to relax in after a long day of traveling. The cleanliness of the room was decent, although we did notice some leftover snacks from the previous guest, which could have been better addressed by the housekeeping staff.
The bathroom...
The room and bed were very comfortable. The hotel provided a varied and interesting breakfast. The best thing at the hotel was being able to catch the airport shuttle bus to the airport very early in the morning to catch our flight. We were able to invite family members who live in Austin to a meal in the hotel.
This place is growing. It's a nice little airport that may not be "little" too much longer. There's been a lot of renovation in the last few months. Salt Lick expanded, Second Bar added a location. Seems like there's cherry pickers going through there every time I go. I never see them used...they seem to just run them from one end to the other. Pretty sure that's not true...but it's funny!

Its a beautiful style of hotel. There is one much like it I've been to in San Antonio and I'm sure others across the nation. I was there for a Landmark Forum that lasts for 3 days. There is construction going on in the hotel so there were power tools that were being used. I will say it was only a couple of times in an afternoon but the times it did happen it was very jarring and took me out of the...
I really enjoyed this Hotel! The newly renovated lobby and guest rooms were excellent. The staff here are amazing, and food is delicious only disappointment was the pool was not open yet, but we will definitely return after the entire renovation.

Great hotel. Convenient location to the convention center. Great staff. Clean rooms. Highly recommend.
Friendly staff and the location is very convenient. It's in close proximity to plenty of bars and restaurants. I would say that the hotel feels slightly dated to some other I've been to recently. Only reason keeping it from a 5 star. Either way, I would definitely recommend staying here.
The hotel is very close to the convention center, very convenient for convention attendees. Every staff person I have interacted with has been incredibly nice and helpful. My room is nice and very comfortable. I will recommend this hotel to friends coming to Austin with no qualms.
This visit was not as stellar as my last. I received an "upgrade" to a suite, which is positioned on the San Jacinto side of the building... Apparently, this is the loud side of the building, because my stay a year prior on the opposite side was far quieter. A significant problem we noticed early was the toilet -- you had to hold the flush for several seconds, even if it was empty, or the water wouldn...

I have to give a heartfelt thank you to Gwen (front desk receptionists). What a professional and very helpful! We came here and only stayed one night, but EVERYTHING was awesome!! The valet really made our experience one to remember. Noah and Jenny took such good care of us when we arrived all the way up until we left. They made sure our car was pulled up quick, helped us load the car and gave us water when we headed out. The front desk ladies were a pleasure as well! Thank you for going above and beyond with...
Our first time in Austin and we were very impressed/pleased with our stay. Your staff were courteous/professional and competent. We dealt with Harnett on arrival and he very quickly and efficiently accommodated our needs for a room change. We could not have been more satisfied with his handling of our needs/situation. We will certainly stay at this hotel in the future
The service was impeccable. My husband lost his wallet and they were so helpful with trying to help us find it. Unfortunately we did not succeed but the hotel staff was great. Kind of pricey for the suite that we had that wasn't that big. The normal rooms were way better than the suite
First of all, I met with Gwen, the guest service associate, and she was outstanding! She got me checked in a room earlier than expected because I got in early and she was so helpful and Helpful knowledgeable of the hotel and what it offers!

Excellent amenities, rooftop bar and city views in the room. Full fridge, stove and dishwasher in the room.
Good location, minimalistic hotel rooms and breakfast options were modest. Suite was disappointing. No scenic view and not as spacious as we hoped.
I think they designed this place for me. Great staff, great breakfast, great style, great vibe. Would love to stay here again. Till next time! Cole was super friendly and welcoming at check in, too.
Pet friendly, modern decor and great customer service. Well located downtown; easy to avoid their ridiculous $43/day valet by using the spothero app to find cheap overnight parking close by. Fast elevators and good coffee shop on the first floor
Wow! My husband and I travel A LOT and this hotel has been AMAZING. The facility is beautiful and well taken care of. Everyone has been a complete pleasure to deal with. Our room has a microwave and a small fridge. (Not mini) it’s been great for me because I have lots of food allergies and we’ve been able to shop and have stuff for me. To summarize it just what you would expect from AC. The check in was ok, I just wish I was told about the hotel, what it has to offer. The room was as clean as you would expect it to be. Very nice hotel. Above average clean. Super comfortable beds. Great pillows, great bathroom with monsoon shower heads, and large showers with no nasty shower curtains. Great staff, great location, great pool. The exercise room is drool worthy. Not a single bad thing to say about this place, in fact, they exceeded all standards.
I just recently stayed here and HAD to write an amazing review!! I LOVED my stay! The hotel is like BRAND NEW, super clean, luxurious bed rooms! Our beds were soo comfortable! We can't say enough good things about this hotel. We did our wedding down the road, and the staff was amazing. It's super close to the airport and close to all of the good places to eat in the area. The rooms were well done, with ample power outlets and lighting, and the bathrooms were exquisite!

Close to other services however the highway noise is very very noticeable. Friendly staff however bistro service was slow and my latte tasted burnt. Room is what you would expect at a Courtyard and the front desk folks are pleasant.
The Hotel looked new, just refurbished and had great amenities. The host was welcoming and the rooms look updated. I like the new gym area and the office space available for mobile working.
EVERY ONE who works at this location has excellent customer service skills. Mercedes at the front desk, the female who serviced me at the Bistro everyday, the room attendants, the ladies who greeted me daily, the driver of shuttle who waited for me and the manager who recognized I hurt my ankle you were all great. That level of customer service I haven't seen in years so thank you for keeping it common...
The room set up was nice. Nice large tv. The bed was very uncomfortable and there weren’t any firm pillows. The shower setup was not good. You have to get in the shower to turn it on and get blasted with cold water. The food was overpriced and coffee not good. No free coffee or tea. The place looks nice but not a very comfortable experience. Won’t be staying here next trip.
The bed wasn't comfortable for me and the towels we not soft. The large enclosed stand up shower is nice but the floor was a little slippery. Nice community area in the lobby, rooms are nice, snack bar has good selections.
Checking was easy and the room was clean and spacious. I also thought the furniture set up was clever. There is a desk/table that can be pulled out, it was great for eating our sandwiches.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Room was very clean and comfortable. Great location close to airport. Recommended!
Friendly staff, clean rooms, good prices, close to the airport. Downtown is just 15 minutes away. San Marcos is 30 minutes south.
I have stayed here twice now and absolutely loved it both times. The rooms are VERY clean and comfortable and spacious. Great tv channels and the bistro is superb. The customer service is 2nd to none- I have interacted with many of the employees and it is SUCH a pleasant experience!
Southwest airlines put me up here after a flight cancellation. The staff was very efficient and friendly, making sure I was on a shuttle the next morning. I didn't like where the AC unit was blowing in the room. It was designed to blow directly on the bed, which caused me to have a very dry throat the next morning. If I was there another night, I would have put a towel over it and solved the problem
Very nice Courtyard by Marriott. Good staff. Nice lobby. And WiFi was good. Very lively at 9pm in lobby. Would return.
Down the middle amenities in a outer rim location. You'll find this hotel inconveniently located far away from downtown but right near the airport. This is not the hotel you are looking for if you want to be in downtown Austin. YOU WILL BE PAYING FOR CAR SERVICE. Now that said, the hotel is clean and the staff is friendly and accommodating.

Great location close to the Capitol. Room was clean and spacious. Valet attendants were very nice and accommodating.
Adequate place to sleep with reasonable prices downtown. Room was clean and functional. A little noisy.
Outside of the dyed blonde lady with the super crappy attitude working the night shift on the first night? And the very boring lackluster "breakfast"? Pretty nice stay.
"You get what you paid for" truly applies to this La Quinta, which was more like a motel than a hotel. We had booked it for our weekend in Austin because we wanted to be downtown but pay under $200. It was a decent place and in a good location, but it is definitely dated and needs upgrading. The room was decent: good size, decent bed, but the heater/AC unit couldn't make up it's mind - it was very...
Front desk staff was very nice and valet people were friendly. Location was great rich next door to the capital. The room look like it was redone so everything was nice, I would stay here again next time I go.

Customer service was subpar. Kicked us out after they mistakenly booked us under age. Carla, the large heavyset woman at the counter, was one of the rudest people I've dealt with. Find a better place there's a bunch of hotels on this st. don't pick this one.
Quick service, but thin walls. In-room amenities are dated but functional. Wifi is free, decently fast, and easy to connect to. Beds are beds, and check-in and out were quick and efficient. One issue is thin walls, which leaked sound from the hallway and adjacent rooms. Good value for the price.
The hotel was decent for the price, but what made the difference was the staff. They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was a good one.
I didn't go in the rooms. I just went to have a drink with my friend. It was very good service. Wasn't the nicest atmosphere but the service was great

Nice place to stay. My company put me in this hotel for 3 weeks and I was impressed with the front desks attention to details. Thanks Jeff!
The staff here was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The room was clean and fresh. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was appropriately stocked. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely stay again.
We were there on a Saturday night. We got great service from the front desk. Daytime clerk helped us check in early and the night clerk brought us a blanket within 5 minutes of our request. The room was very clean and comfortable. We didn’t have any issues at all. The restaurant breakfast buffet was not extensive but the omelette was made to order and delicious.
We are at the hotel restaurant for both breakfast and dinner; meals were great. Coffee, tea, water, fruits and cookies available almost 24/7; always restocked/refill. Bed and pillow can be a little in the soft side.
A decent value hotel but needs a little attention to detail. One of my lights was burned out, adding to an already dim room. Clocks were all at least ten minutes off in the room. Something simple like tater tots were overcooked and hard. Workout room is ok, but not all the treadmill displays worked. At least the staff was friendly.
I'm traveling for work and this hotel is in a good location from CVS for quick runs, from some local fast food, and to hop on the freeway. The room has been great and comfortable, and probably my favorite hotel bathroom in a very long time.

Nice clean rooms. But the other guests ruined any good impression. Several set up chairs in the walkways and carried on late into the night, music blaring. Other rooms nearby were also loud. Friendly staff and nice location. Breakfast options were ample. The room was not as clean as I expected. There were small sugar ants in the bathroom and I noticed cobwebs in the sofabed. No room service though! No one came to turn down the bed and change the towels.
Quality of stay as gone down since my stays in 2018/2019.
