Hilton Austin Airport

I booked overnight to avoid having to drive to the airport super early in the morning. They have a shuttle whose driver was incredibly nice, the front desk clerks were very courteous and helpful. They even allow you to park your car for a reasonable fee until you return. The beds were comfy and rooms were clean. I really don’t know what more I could have asked for. It checked all our boxes.

The hotel was beautiful, the staff were friendly and inviting, the food at the restaurant was affordable and delicious. I had their breakfast tacos, their breakfast buffet, their pizza and onion rings. All of the things were cooked to perfection. The onion rings had a light and airy texture, the pizza was gooey and cheese, while the slices of tomato were juicy and cooked through. The breakfast tacos were a perfect introduction to the Texas-Mexican blend you find throughout the city. The location is 2 minutes from the airport, prime spot for early flights out or late flights in. It was however a $20 uber/lyft ride into the city regularly. If you didn't rent a car, I recommend the electric scooters around the city, especially on a 100 degree day.

During my recent stay at the Hilton Austin Airport hotel, I had a pleasant experience overall. The room I stayed in was nice and comfortable, providing a cozy atmosphere to relax in after a long day of traveling. The cleanliness of the room was decent, although we did notice some leftover snacks from the previous guest, which could have been better addressed by the housekeeping staff.

The bathroom in the room was impressive, with modern fixtures and amenities. The shower had good water pressure and temperature control, providing a refreshing experience. The hotel's proximity to the airport was a definite plus, as it made our travel arrangements much more convenient. The availability of a free shuttle bus service between the airport and the hotel was a great added convenience, saving us both time and money.

The hotel staff were generally friendly and accommodating, and check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient. The hotel's facilities, such as the fitness center and swimming pool, were well-maintained and provided opportunities for relaxation and exercise during our stay.

In terms of dining options, the hotel offered a restaurant that served a variety of dishes. While we didn't have the chance to dine there, the menu looked appealing and the restaurant had a pleasant ambiance.

Overall, the Hilton Austin Airport hotel provided a comfortable and convenient stay, with a nice room and nearby airport access. Although there were some minor cleanliness issues, the positive aspects of the hotel, such as the free shuttle service and friendly staff, made up for it. I would consider staying at this hotel again in the future for its convenient location and comfortable accommodations.

The room and bed were very comfortable. The hotel provided a varied and interesting breakfast. The best thing at the hotel was being able to catch the airport shuttle bus to the airport very early in the morning to catch our flight. We were able to invite family members who live in Austin to a meal in the hotel.

While the hotel was cozy and accommodating, it feels as if it is stuck in a time capsule. The price does not reflect the outdated style. The wallpaper is right out of the early 90's, the drapery was probably cutting edge in its day but now it seems like curtains you'd find in any classy grandparents house. I also felt that even though it is close to the airport guest should not need to pay for parking. They provide you a pass so to me the paying is over kill or could be used to update. The structure is awesome and unique and I loved the way it was repurposed.

Hotel of choice for many years for our company professional events. Always a great time and the staff is incredibly friendly. Be sure to check out the restaurant - it's good.
