The resort was just okay. Much needed renovation. The pictures in the hallways are so out of date. Hard to believe they still have them up. Pictures were from Jim Crow days. We went for Christmas and they were short of staff. Hospitality industry unacceptable.

I booked overnight to avoid having to drive to the airport super early in the morning. They have a shuttle whose driver was incredibly nice, the front desk clerks were very courteous and helpful. They even allow you to park your car for a reasonable fee until you return. The beds were comfy and rooms were clean. I really don’t know what more I could have asked for. It checked all our boxes.

The best thing at the hotel was being able to catch the airport shuttle bus to the airport very early in the morning to catch our flight. This place is growing. It's a nice little airport that may not be "little" too much longer. There's been a lot of renovation in the last few months. Salt Lick expanded, Second Bar added a location. The Hyatt is an Austin original. Great restaurant and bar and walking distance to almost everything Austin. Whether it's shopping at the Yeti store or watching the Congress Avenue bridge bats. I really enjoy coming out here. Super family-friendly, with tons of activities for kids. The food in all of the restaurants is quite good. Incredibly convenient accommodations to the capitol. Have stayed here a couple of times for business. I have chosen to park at the parking garage on the same block which was about $40 a day vs $55 at hotel valet. Nice thought out rooms. They have motion activated lights. Very cozy.

The toilet in the corner room is part of the room, and the toilet bowl is not separated from the bedroom by a wall, but only by a glass partition. This funny design decision gives the feeling of the literal presence of someone using the toilet next to the sleeping person on the bed.

Newly built Hyatt hotel in the center. Since its new its all fresh which I like. After a few days my AC broke and the hotel kindly upgraded me to top suite with amazing views. Very kind and service minded staff that work hard to keep you happy. Had several dinners at Lumiers restaurant on the ground floor which also serves the breakfast - all good. I recommend this hotel.

Very new hotel with a new style. The building is very tall and narrow, with only about 1/2 dozen rooms on each floor. Our room was very stylish with great views, large windows, and interesting decorations. However, it was smaller and more narrow than a traditional hotel room (larger than Hyatt Tommie, but smaller than Hyatt Regency). The location was convenient for me as it’s close to the University of Texas at Austin’s museums and the LBJ Presidential Library and to the state capitol. The rooftop offers a fantastic view of downtown Austin and the Capitol. The hotel staff were helpful and cheerful (Fernando and Freddy were especially cheery and they both have a delightful sense of humor). My room was very comfortable.

Love the decor and experience of this hotel it is beautiful. The room did look like the flooring needed to be replaced and was not in the best condition. Staff was attentive and there is so many places to shop and eat nearby. No coffee in room but they will deliver it to the room for a fee and it is in the lobby.
