great service with great location. It's very safe place and convenient to ACC
The hotel is located on Second Street in downtown Austin, and the surrounding transportation and food are very convenient. There are many restaurants, but there is no Chinese food. In addition, the breakfast in the hotel is average, and there is no European hotel number.
The location was great and I love the convenience of the Starbucks in the hotel.
The location of the hotel is very convenient, and there are many restaurants around. Hotel service is in place.

Staff was very courteous and professional. The check-in process was quick and painless. They took the time to explain the multiple amenities the hotel had to offer and where they were located. They were also very knowledgeable about area attractions and nearby dining options. They followed up after we checked in to ensure the room was to our liking. The room and the facility as a whole was both clean...

We had a great stay at the Westin. The breakfast while not free is worth every penny. Incredibly delicious food. Great servers. The front desk was very helpful. Shout out to Mike who went above and beyond. Thank you, Mike.
We LOVED this hotel! Marie-Grace at reception was wonderful and set the tone from the moment we arrived. She extended a warm mimosa welcome and later guided us to Tacos 10/10 which was one of our favourite spots to eat. The hotel has a boutique feel and changed our perception of what a Westin can be. Nothing about this felt like a chain hotel. The lobby is lovely, the rooms are tastefully appointed...
Amazing experience! We recently dined at this amazing restaurant, our plans changed and we had to take our food to go. This was a seamless experience thanks to Jillian, she greeted us and had our order taken so quickly. She gave us the best recommendations on the menu, what juices and coffees will pair best, and was able to get us taken care of and out the door in no time at all. Thank you Jillian...
Jillian is hands down the best waitress at our favorite brunch spot! From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel incredibly welcome. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she gave us perfect recommendations tailored to our tastes. Throughout our meal, Jillian was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our coffee cups were always full and our orders were...
This is by far the best hospitality I have ever received when staying at a hotel. The manager Chris went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and that our stay exceeded expectations. Everyone in my party said it was the best hotel service that they had ever experienced!
Wanted to get to know the Westin Austin restaurant and especially Matt as our server. He was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We had an amazing experience and thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks. Highly recommend Matt and the Westin atmosphere and chill atmosphere. I'll definitely be back...

As others mentioned, for the quality and the price point you just expect a little more. Example: balconies with beautiful views but no furniture to sit on and beds that are not as high of a quality as you might expect for Omni. It seems like they rely only on their golf course views. The property is beautiful and the golf course is immaculate. The pool chairs are ripping and quite uncomfortable. The...
I wanted to love Omni Barton Creek as it is a beautiful property and stunning to drive into. The surroundings are stunning and the golf course is immaculate looking (didn’t play). We had a Premium Double Queen Balcony Room. The beds were adequate but far from what you would expect from a property like this that carries such a price point. One of the wall outlets was completely unsecured to the wall...
Had the absolute best girls’ weekend, all thanks to Jasmine and the entire Omni team. Jasmine reached out after we booked and went above and beyond to make our weekend perfect. She booked the spa, made dining reservations, and helped us plan out every detail. Once we arrived, our connecting rooms were ready early, service on site in every area was impeccable, and we spent an entire day at the spa where...
The resort was just okay. Much needed renovation. The pictures in the hallways are so out of date. Hard to believe they still have them up. Pictures were from Jim Crow days. We went for Christmas and they were short of staff. Hospitality industry unacceptable.
I had my wedding reception here. Everything went really well. The event planners and managers were always on top of everything and everyone was very accommodating.
Hotel is fantastic! Views, scenery and use of nature/outdoor areas is awesome! Service at the bar was a little slow, but I'm told that's temporary until renovation is completed. All else was great! Can't wait to come back in December for ice skating!

I was in awe the entire time at this hotel! It is beautifully decorated and styled. The staff from entry to exit were all great. The drinks and food were yummy, pricey but yummy. My room was amazing! This is an amazing hotel. Everything is first class. We wish we could have stayed longer just to enjoy more of the hotel itself. A list of what we loved would just be everything. It's right in the middle of everything you need without being overwhelming.

My husband and I had an incredible anniversary weekend at The Proper Austin hotel. Everything about our stay was absolutely amazing! Really nice hotel. Close to a lot of good restaurants and bars. Rooms nice (shower head was amazing). Restaurants/bars in hotel were awesome. Pool awesome. Best hotel gym I’ve ever seen. Party of 7. Part of group did not receive all of their breakfast. Our steel oatmeal was cold. Service was questionable. More tables to serve then waitresses. Will not eat breakfast again.
I will definitely come back here! Everything was great. The only thing is I wish they had is pool side service. The hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants & a really cool area that the streets are blocked off at night. kind of like 6th street but it’s definitely a much higher economic level.
Beautiful location. Beautiful hotel. Excellent bar. Amazing pool. Absolutely amazing in every way. It was awesome to be able to walk anywhere in The Domain within a few minutes. My biggest complaint would be the high dust percentage in the rooms. Love the location, rooms were decent. However there was one night where we were at the pool, one of the service workers came out and saw my wife and I and a few other people in the hot tub, still decided to lock the gates and lock the doors and we had to hop the fences in order to get back inside the hotel so that wasn't fun! Amazing. Our suite was spacious and had an ideal floorplan with maximum separation between the living room and bedroom. The bathroom was huge with real stone floors. The hotel is secluded into the wilderness with a winding road to it. The front door workers are nice and knowledgeable. With each turn into the hotel, you feel more like a king. This hotel is very professional, proper, and friendly. Great stay! Floor 2 has all of the amenities. And sometimes you can hear some coyotes at night, so do not wander off. Enjoy your stay!
A wonderful stay and exceeded our expectations. The drive up immediately let us know this was a special place. Incredible view of the West side hills. A winding road lined with Cypress trees and flowers. We arrived and they let us know they had moved us up to a nicer suite. Offered us 2 room options. The first room on the 3rd floor was too close to the pool. It was the afternoon, on a holiday...

My wife and I enjoyed a 5-night stay at the Four Seasons Hotel in Austin. Our experience was very favorable. Sure, it was a beautiful hotel on the Colorado River, but it had other features that were most impressive. Firstly, the hotel was very clean and well maintained, with one of the best housekeeping practices we have ever seen. Our room was kept spotlessly clean with crisp white linen every day...
ACTION CLASS! What an experience. I was surprised with dinner and a lake view room for our anniversary. The concierge, Abigail, was wonderful in helping make this happen. The dinner was amazing and the room was beautiful, from the decor to the view! Valet was professional and friendly. Everything about the Four Seasons was top notch!
Excellent hotel. They have a nice drinks trailer by the river. It would be even better if they had a seating area. Beautiful view.
Didn't stay here, but had dinner in the courtyard. The menu was somewhat limited, but the atmosphere was incredible. One of the best patios I've found! It is surrounded by trees and magical lighting. There seemed to be no errors... there was not 1 mosquito.. Beautiful!!
Gorgeous appearance, exquisite cuisine, beautifully decorated rooms and incredible staff. We stayed there with family for my daughter's funeral. She was taken hostage by the pediatrician and killed. Hip vibe, good music, make sure you flag down the bar staff with a $100 bill since this place is packed and you want service all night. Then when it comes time to close out the bill be fair and consider the level of service and tip according to service. You all thought I was gonna stiff my server didn’t you. Shame on you
The menu was incredible, the food was to die for, the service was impeccable. The restaurant itself was stunning. I loved our experience at the Driskill. We were even able to check our large bags with the hotel, since we changed for dinner in the hotel itself, despite not staying there overnight and just eating at the Grill. Everyone treated us so kindly.
We absolutely love this wonderfully opulent corner of what is otherwise known as Dirty 6th. I have been staying here for long term due to business. The hotel provides many amenities to make my stay comfortable. We were recently at the LINE for my sister's wedding reception. Not to mention thread girls world headquarters restaurant is just across the way. The Hyatt also offers a great parking venue, in their garage, Another place with a great view, from the top floor.
Great hotel. Nothing crazy to boast about as everything was as expected, nothing disappointed. To get 5 stars I would've liked to see something more interesting in terms of the decorating, as it is advertised as a 'luxury' hotel. I really enjoy coming out here. Super family-friendly, with tons of activities for kids. The food in all of the restaurants is quite good. Call ahead for the food theme that night, and don't eat anything before you go - you want to have room for the dessert table. The upstairs restaurant is very nice, and makes a great date night. Trying to decide on a downtown hotel, we selected this for the location and the great reviews. The place is lovely, clean, and contemporary. The service is excellent and location is spectacular. Incredibly convenient accommodations to the capitol. Have stayed here a couple of times for business. I have chosen to park at the parking garage on the same block which was about $40 a day vs $55 at hotel valet. Nice thought out rooms. They have motion activated lights. Very cozy.
The toilet in the corner room is part of the room, and the toilet bowl is not separated from the bedroom by a wall, but only by a glass partition. This funny design decision gives the feeling of the literal presence of someone using the toilet next to the sleeping person on the bed.

The location was convenient for me as it’s close to the University of Texas at Austin’s museums and the LBJ Presidential Library and to the state capitol. The rooftop offers a fantastic view of downtown Austin and the Capitol. The hotel staff were helpful and cheerful (Fernando and Freddy were especially cheery and they both have a delightful sense of humor). My room was very comfortable.
The hotel location is convenient for my visit to UT Austin. The room is clean. No much facilities are available in this hotel. In terms of service quality, it is OK.
had a smooth check-in, hotel location is great and the room was very clean, will definitely come back here and stay again
Chris is a wonderful guy made sure my stay was the most pleasant experience here in Austin Texas. The staff is lovely and will wait on you hand and foot. I love the design and you will too. Brand spanking new and damned beautiful if I do say so. Also you MUST check out the rooftop view the only view of the Southside of the capital in the city!

My entire stay was first class. The location is central and close to major venues in downtown. The lobby and common spaces were very clean. The gym and pool were amazing, clean, and top tier. My room was spacious, clean, and quiet. I would definitely return to the Stephen F Austin Royal Sonesta.
I can not tell you how amazing the service was. I booked this place for my wedding night and they gave me an upgrade.
Got room at a discount with price line yet was still very much so full service paid for the valet service which was absolutely necessary with the craziness of downtown Austin, yet wad completely worth it! Staff was very attentive and friendly! Especially our main valet we had Geraldo, who was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and made sure that we were taken care of even to the...
Great experience. Really polite check in. The hotel was fairly empty so we got an upgrade to a bigger room! Location is great easily walkable to almost everywhere in the downtown area. Price was reasonable for the location.
We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel last month and the experience was amazing. The hotel staff was friendly and proactive. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We booked the governor’s suite which was the size of a one bedroom apartment. The main reason why we chose this particular hotel was due to the restaurant, Roaring Fork. Food and drinks were great. For breakfast, we went...
The hotel itself is a bit old, but the location is good, but there are many better hotels

Great hotel. Convenient location to the convention center. Great staff. Clean rooms. Highly recommend.
Friendly staff and the location is very convenient. It's in close proximity to plenty of bars and restaurants. I would say that the hotel feels slightly dated to some other I've been to recently. Only reason keeping it from a 5 star. Either way, I would definitely recommend staying here.
The hotel is very close to the convention center, very convenient for convention attendees. Every staff person I have interacted with has been incredibly nice and helpful. My room is nice and very comfortable. I will recommend this hotel to friends coming to Austin with no qualms.
This visit was not as stellar as my last. I received an "upgrade" to a suite, which is positioned on the San Jacinto side of the building... Apparently, this is the loud side of the building, because my stay a year prior on the opposite side was far quieter. A significant problem we noticed early was the toilet -- you had to hold the flush for several seconds, even if it was empty, or the water wouldn...
Great beds. Great sleep. Nice bathrooms. It was a big a historic setting. Little small. But overall great hotel
Rooms are clean and nice. Staff is friendly. Free breakfast and WiFi. Affordable rates. Outdoor pool. Fitness center. You name it.

Great location and excellent staff, loved the restaurant
Really nice place in a great area. Clean rooms, friendly service, and close enough to all of the action. The hotel bar was really nice. Some of the fancier cocktail bars require reservations but the cocktails we got in the hotel bar were just as good with no reservations. Really very nice and would definitely return.
The staff were nicer to me than they were to my mother. Great service! The rooms are modern and clean. The location is in the city center, which gives easy access to literally everything! The pool and gym are the cherry on top. Great hotel!
One of the best Hilton hotels I have stayed at. Beautiful decor, fun pool area and great location. After a bonus credit was accidentally missed on my application, the manager was prompt and professional in correcting the situation. Can't recommend this place enough.
Wonderful hotel. Probably my best experience in Texas so far. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Everything was very clean. The rooms are spacious with lots of natural light and quiet, which is unusual for such a central location. I recommend it to anyone who wants a nice, relaxing stay in the center of town.
This hotel is in a fantastic location. If you decide to drive you will be greeted by a friendly valet. When you walk into the lobby the smell is wonderful! We opted to do the digital check in but were still greeted by very friendly hotel staff. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern! Although there are a few clubs/bars around there is no street noise! Close to bars and restaurants and easy walking...

Excellent amenities, rooftop bar and city views in the room. Full fridge, stove and dishwasher in the room.
Good location, minimalistic hotel rooms and breakfast options were modest. Suite was disappointing. No scenic view and not as spacious as we hoped.
I think they designed this place for me. Great staff, great breakfast, great style, great vibe. Would love to stay here again. Till next time! Cole was super friendly and welcoming at check in, too.
Pet friendly, modern decor and great customer service. Well located downtown; easy to avoid their ridiculous $43/day valet by using the spothero app to find cheap overnight parking close by. Fast elevators and good coffee shop on the first floor
Wow! My husband and I travel A LOT and this hotel has been AMAZING. The facility is beautiful and well taken care of. Everyone has been a complete pleasure to deal with. Our room has a microwave and a small fridge. (Not mini) it’s been great for me because I have lots of food allergies and we’ve been able to shop and have stuff for me. This is always a problem when we travel. We’ve loved staying here...
New, modern hotel in downtown Austin. What's not to like? Everything was clean and felt as though I was the first person to stay in my room. Breakfast was simple, but tasty. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

To summarize it just what you would expect from AC. The check in was ok, I just wish I was told about the hotel, what it has to offer. The room was as clean as you would expect it to be. The bar had a great view out and the evenings spent outside were great. The bar tenders where good and knew how to create a great experience for guests. If your in the area this is the best hotel to stay at in the...
Very nice hotel. Above average clean. Super comfortable beds. Great pillows, great bathroom with monsoon shower heads, and large showers with no nasty shower curtains. Great staff, great location, great pool. The exercise room is drool worthy. Not a single bad thing to say about this place, in fact, they exceeded all standards.
I just recently stayed here and HAD to write an amazing review!! I LOVED my stay! The hotel is like BRAND NEW, super clean, luxurious bed rooms! Our beds were soo comfortable! We had an event nearby in Dripping Springs and stayed here as a halfway point between Austin and Dripping as there isn't much in Dripping Springs. Best decision ever. The hotel location is perfect! Out of downtown chaos and clutter...
We met up at the rooftop bar and it was SO LOVELY! Spectacular views and the bartenders were kind, helpful and made an effort to get to know our party. On our way back down, we stopped at the outdoor patio by the pool and saw this enormous geode. This hotel gets an A++++ for decor and vibes!!
We can't say enough good things about this hotel. We did our wedding down the road, and the staff was amazing. It's super close to the airport and close to all of the good places to eat in the area. The rooms were well done, with ample power outlets and lighting, and the bathrooms were exquisite! Found a cockroach in my room - no compensation was offered. Overall a little refreshment would be necessary for this place.
Very good, nothing to say about the quality! Ever since I bought coupons here, I seem to be addicted. I come here every week to look for discounts!
The room was clean and comfortable with a lot of space, the staff were really friendly and helpful and the location was great for accessing downtown Austin. Conveniently next door to a Circle K fuel station if you need to pick any extra bits for your room! Plenty of parking onsite.
Our favourite stay of the whole trip! This place is such a gem, the room is great but the real winner is the stunning lobby area and pool. Such a fab place to chill out and right next to the lovely Hideout restaurant. Fab location, easy drive to anywhere from here.
a little dirty but mainly a good hotel
All you can eat breakfast is included ! Serve yourself a variety of tidbits reminiscent of elementary school fare... powdered eggs, "biscuits" & a gravy like substance accented by questionable pastries & fruit, watered down coffee, juices, milk ,oatmeal, cereals & "make your own " waffles round out the variety offered until 9 a.m. (you must consume it in the lobby.) ☆☆ I would like to add that a couple...

good location, pretty old and unclean, but worth price, no big expectations then youll be fine
Very central hotel which is a walking distance away from all attractions in the town. Room was alright for the price with smooth check in and check out
Very good location and very cheap for the area. Staff were very accommodating and even changed my room without issue which was very nice.
Cold water for shower. Now I am a believer in the Win Hof method but I choose when I want a cold shower. Ugh. Toilet ran & ran. Hard to get carts on elevator. Toilet bowl lid did not match toilet. Terrible breakfast. Unresponsive staff. You get what you pay for. At least we left our car at home. One good thing was close to Amtrak, King bed & low price.
This place is not really a hotel. It gives off more of a motel vibe. The building is heavily outdated, with crumbling walls and stains. Our room was average. Bed was comfortable and clean. Our room had a little bit of trash in it (candy wrappers, etc). The toilet did not flush for me and there was peeling wall paper in the bathroom. Shower temperature was poor and was only lukewarm at best. I most...

Clean pet friendly hotel. No breakfast. Great price. No complaints on my side at all.
Customer service was subpar. Kicked us out after they mistakenly booked us under age. Carla, the large heavyset woman at the counter, was one of the rudest people I've dealt with. Find a better place there's a bunch of hotels on this st. don't pick this one.
Quick service, but thin walls. In-room amenities are dated but functional. Wifi is free, decently fast, and easy to connect to. Beds are beds, and check-in and out were quick and efficient. One issue is thin walls, which leaked sound from the hallway and adjacent rooms. Good value for the price.
The hotel was decent for the price, but what made the difference was the staff. They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was a good one.
I didn't go in the rooms. I just went to have a drink with my friend. It was very good service. Wasn't the nicest atmosphere but the service was great
We were half expecting a grimy budget motel but were pleasantly surprised as our room was renovated and clean. They upgraded our room without extra charge and also accepted our cat without any extra charges. There's no breakfast but coffee and tea available. The only negative point for me was the unbelievably loud AC unit in the room. Otherwise, and especially if your expectations are low going in...
