I was a little nervous to book after reading reviews but I am beyond happy I followed through with it. First off, the staff is awesome. They held our bags since our flight arrived early and then they even were able to have our room ready a little earlier for check in. The hotel room fits the feeling of Boston in fall. The decor is so cool as is the hotel itself! Location location location, we were able to walk everywhere!

We had a wonderful experience staying here. I want to give a special shout out to the night manager Joanne. I spent several nights in the lobby due to insomnia and she made me feel so welcome and safe. It really made such a difference in my experience at this hotel. Thank you so much!

We were given the first floor room 120 right by the mail street. I thought it was not that great considering we had paid $265 for the room. We requested to change to a different room right after we checked in but the manager said no unless we pay additional $45 plus tax for a king size room. Why would not they just give us another queen size room in higher floor? ( I checked the website and they were still available.)
Our nightmare started after 11pm till 2am. The music from all over the place ( cars parked outside our window and clubs nearby). Then we were woke up by the hotel truck dragging towels outside our window from 5:50am to 6:15am.
I think the hotel staff were fully aware that this was the worst room in the building and they still gave us the room even though we complained about it as soon as we saw the room. The room was an accessible room without tub or shower doors. We didn’t want that either. Plus, there’s no desk and chairs. Don’t like the experience here.

We went for a weekend, trip to Boston, and stayed here for one night. When we checked in, they only had one more room available that we had booked. It was on the first floor, we took it because you have to pay for a different sized room.
I wish I could say this was a nice day, but unfortunately I can’t. If you are sleeping on the first floor, be aware, they have a club underneath the hotel. According to the staff at the hotel, the club is supposed to shut their music off around 11 PM. Unfortunately, the music was still going at around 3 o’clock in the morning. There were also multiple people outside the window, including someone blasting music from their car. Needless to say, we didn’t get the greatest sleep.
We complain to the staff at about 3:30 in the morning and they sent someone outside to disperse the group of people. Later that morning, when we were checking out, we advised the staff about the issue again. The clerk apologize to us, and said he would speak with the manager of the club. He also offered us $30 off our bill for the night, which is nice but seemed to be the bare minimum. I absolutely do not recommend staying on the first floor of this hotel. I can’t speak for other floors, I’m sure it’s very nice though. I hope this issue is resolved as I will not be returning to Copley Square Hotel.

Good location to base yourself for a Boston trip. However, although the room was very clean, it was very dark and a little dingy as we had a window that overlooked a public corridor which meant we had to have a privacy blind down at all times. Big gaps under doors which meant you could hear everyone and everything from the corridor all night. Nice little gym room which was basic but a nice bonus. Staff were mostly helpful but didn’t particularly give the impression that they wanted to be there. Would not stay again

The hotel itself was fine, the rooms a little small but ok. The staff was mostly friendly and helpful. The main criticism is that some staff members at the lobby get a little unfriendly when you ask for something more than once. I would not recommend the luggage waiting facilities. We had candles in our luggage and they got destroyed there. Probably the employees through the bags. In addition the room to our bathroom was only hung on one hook which made it close to impossible to close it. This should normally be no problem, but if you have a bathroom so small you can nearly turn around it creates a massive problem, as the door opens to the inside.

Great location! Central and near almost all the key sights. Plus, some great shopping. Hotel was well priced, clean and provided good service. Our only complaint would be the size of the room in general, but most specifically, the bathroom. Very small and would steam up quite quickly. Some renovations definitely required, but good value for the price paid. Overall a pleasurable stay with minor complaints.

Great experience and would thoroughly recommend this hotel. My wife and I stayed here as part of 25th wedding anniversary vacation visiting Chicago, Boston and New York from Scotland and I can honestly say this was the best hotel by far. Staff were wonderful and hotel felt immediately very homely. Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Hope to visit Boston again in the future.

Amazing hotel. We were there for a dance competition at the convention center across the street and we loved this hotel. Awesome staff, comfortable atmosphere and a bar that does not overcharge you for drinks. Can't wait to stay there next year!
