Copley Square Hotel

We went for a weekend, trip to Boston, and stayed here for one night. When we checked in, they only had one more room available that we had booked. It was on the first floor, we took it because you have to pay for a different sized room.
I wish I could say this was a nice day, but unfortunately I can’t. If you are sleeping on the first floor, be aware, they have a club underneath the hotel. According to the staff at the hotel, the club is supposed to shut their music off around 11 PM. Unfortunately, the music was still going at around 3 o’clock in the morning. There were also multiple people outside the window, including someone blasting music from their car. Needless to say, we didn’t get the greatest sleep.
We complain to the staff at about 3:30 in the morning and they sent someone outside to disperse the group of people. Later that morning, when we were checking out, we advised the staff about the issue again. The clerk apologize to us, and said he would speak with the manager of the club. He also offered us $30 off our bill for the night, which is nice but seemed to be the bare minimum. I absolutely do not recommend staying on the first floor of this hotel. I can’t speak for other floors, I’m sure it’s very nice though. I hope this issue is resolved as I will not be returning to Copley Square Hotel.

Good location to base yourself for a Boston trip. However, although the room was very clean, it was very dark and a little dingy as we had a window that overlooked a public corridor which meant we had to have a privacy blind down at all times. Big gaps under doors which meant you could hear everyone and everything from the corridor all night. Nice little gym room which was basic but a nice bonus. Staff were mostly helpful but didn’t particularly give the impression that they wanted to be there. Would not stay again
