we went to the Marriott in Copley place. it is a very good location. the hotel is nice too. i think my only complaint is the valet parking at $69/day which is just crazy but i was too tired to self park the car after traveling half-way around the world. also they charge you $25 fee for whatever but if can be used for purchases in the hotel (like room service). that seems a bit of a rip-off too...

Great customer service and excellent location. My only caveat would be that if you do not need an adjoining room and are assigned one, perhaps ask for another as those doors even when closed allow full conversations to permeate. Nice property, but beware of overbooking I arrived late 11:30pm and the hotel oversold their rooms and did not have a room for me. They sent me to the Westin down the way, which walking 4 blocks to another hotel in the middle of the night was frustrating and annoying. Very good hotel, right next to the MIT Science Museum, with a subway station downstairs, coffee shops, restaurants and supermarkets for shopping. The room is very cozy. Next to it is the Google office building with complete facilities. It is great to meet with teachers and friends. It is also very convenient to Harvard, just two subway stops away. There is NO POOL fyi even though all the pictures online on hotel websites show many pictures of their pool and rooftop lounge area. Good room, nothing overly special. Would return for a good price depending on the day. Very clean and spacious.

The lobby and common areas are great but the rooms are outdated compared to others. My room had stained on the tub surround and burn holes in the furniture. The staff was great and friendly. Location is good for walking the area.

I found that this was a 3 star hotel in a 5 star location. Location can almost not be beat, so close to everything you need! But the hotel itself is fairly mediocre. Comfort, class, and style. The location is ideal in Boston with easy access to a plethora of restaurants, great running trails by the water and the Commons. The rooms are very comfortable, all with balconies. The hotel has a classy modern feel while still being cozy. The rooftop bar attracts a lot people on the weekends.
