Super hotel. Stayed at Boston Marriott Long Wharf on the front side of our trip and I’m super sorry I spent nearly twice what the Envoy costs. That hotel was old and ragged; rooms were absolute garbage in comparison.
On to the Envoy, we were greeted with keys already prepared for arrival, a choice of adult beverage, and a quick verbal about the hotel and its amenities. The room was modern and large - it was a standard two queen.
This hotel stood out to us because of its placement in town. This is an upscale area with very nice restaurants nearby, shopping, and it felt safe to walk around outside.
Also, the breakfast!! Decent prices, extremely friendly, accommodating staff, and fantastic food - and at decent prices for a hotel in the high-rent district.
This is a hands-down, must-stay if you’re flying through Boston and need a nice place to rest, eat and/or shop.

Location is great if you’re looking to stay in Seaport, but rooms are gimmicky and not functional.

Thermostat won’t go lower than 68°, and my room was constantly above 70°. Way too hot and stuffy for a room facing The Barking Crab. Windows also wouldn’t open to allow fresh air in.

The rainfall shower constantly dripped even when turned off. As someone with rainfall showers installed in our house, these were garbage. Standing under the water had you

My wife made a reservation for this room with the prepay option that they offer on the website when we got there they had her reservation but no record of her confirmed payment (she still hasn't received that money back) after getting the run around from customer service on the phone (Marriott and Envoy are apparently not connected yet Envoy uses Marriott to book) I decided to just use my card to make the full payment price of the room plus deposit on St Patrick's day weekend (I still haven't received that deposit back either). The room was nice and we went for breakfast with the continental coupon they give you at checkin, on the back it says up to $18 but the server will only honor up to $15 and you'll be responsible for the rest. The only 5 star rating this hotel really deserves is the location as it's right near the water, south station and a bunch of fun attractions and amazing restaurants.

We really loved this hotel. We were a family of four and the location to the park right next door and the Boston children’s museum was fantastic. While our kids could not enjoy the rooftop (18 and up) us parents had a quick drink up there every evening and loved it. The views are beautiful. We were also on the 6th floor, right below the bar and right next to the elevator but our room was nice and quiet.

Having a very nice restaurant down stairs also came in handy often. We enjoyed several breakfasts and dinners at para Maria. We also had a great lunch at the barking crab right in front of the hotel.

We’d definitely recommend!

This hotel is a must! I really liked the way the lobby smelled, it smelled relaxing, like a spa, every time you walked in there. The customer service was amazing! Janelle was wonderful. She recommended a few places for breakfast, we tried the pink tacos and they were delicious. Janelle did everything in her power to make our stay memorable. The room was gorgeous, the views were amazing, the bed was so comfortable. I liked the idea of a TV stand. The roof is really good. I wish it was a little higher, but there's nothing we can do about it. The atmosphere is great, they have great music, a nice bar, but I wish they had more items on the menu. The menu was limited and it was expensive. I found it a better place to hang out. Overall Envoy is 10/10 for me.

Our stay was wonderful. We were very pleased with the hotel, the ambiance and the good atmosphere throughout. The front team were excellent and attentive. They were able to easily answer questions about the hotel and easily get directions to nearby locations. I would like to thank Janelle at the front desk. Janelle went above and beyond on numerous occasions during our stay. Not only was she able to give us directions to places near the hotel, but she did it with a genuine smile. Her willingness to help was duly noted. On the last day of our stay, February 14, 2021 (Valentine's Day), Janelle was again willing to help when my better half asked for help with the secret delivery of a Valentine's Day gift upon check out that morning. Janelle, we thank you again for your excellent service. Marriott would love to have you on the team.

Drank at both the bars. Fabulous. Bartender Joe at street level makes a mean espresso martini. Rooftop bar bartender Harry was second to none & the view & oudoor seating were great. Igloos are adorable but need to book in advance on weekends with a big retainer to drink against. Great vibe & good day drinking spot. Fun! Recommend.

A great new, contemporary hotel for walking around the seaport district and downtown & Boston harbor. There are many excellent restaurants are within walking distance. I had a nice-sized king-corner room with a lot of glass. While there was not a lot to see out the windows...the room was large, quiet, comfortable, and bright with floor-to-ceiling glass. While I did not make it up to the rooftop bar...it did draw a crowd on the weekend and looked to be interesting. If you would like a new contemporary hotel ... this would be a good choice.

I stay at Marriott hotels most of the weeks and have stayed at 3 other hotels in the area. This is my new favourite. I will DEFINITELY be back. The rooms are amazing and little details like shoe polish and premium coffee go a long way. Everything is done right at this place, which speaks volumes about how they probably do everything else. The dining area in the room was also very good. Highly recommend
