Great location, front desk staff super friendly and accommodating (though it does take a long while to answer the phone). There is NO POOL fyi even though all the pictures online on hotel websites show many pictures of their pool and rooftop lounge area. Good room, nothing overly special. Would return for a good price depending on the day. Very clean and spacious.

The lobby and common areas are great but the rooms are outdated compared to others. My room had stained on the tub surround and burn holes in the furniture. The staff was great and friendly. Location is good for walking the area.

It was a girls trip for my best friends birthday the day we checked in and we had a few minor issues with the room and I called down to the front desk and they went above and beyond to accommodate our needs by sending up a complimentary bottle of champagne and wine glasses and chocolates plus they waved the hotel $35 resort fee for us, they sent the house cleaning up to clean our room and sent up a fridge for us and fixed our phones. I was impressed at how quickly they handled the situation after I called. Everything worked out perfectly they did a great job overall. Also we spent time at the rooftop bar and it was fun and had beautiful views.

Came here with my husband as a tag along while he was at a conference. This swanky hotel is very conveniently located in the heart of downtown.
The area has many great restaurants and theaters. The room had a balcony, which I loved. The wifi was pretty good, and i loved walking out the door and being within walking distance of a lot of restaurants, stores, and sights. The staff was on top of everything, and the hotel was super clean!
The beds were comfy, and the rooms were large, but there were a few oddities at this hotel. They had complimentary mini-fridges, but you had to ask for one. That said, they had one to us in 5 minutes of us calling the front desk. Our room had only one tiny dresser for clothing. The toilet flushed so loudly I cringed every time we had to flush, and for an upscale hotel, it was a bit run down in some areas.
While I did not go to the rooftop restaurant, I had a great view of it from our balcony, and it looked amazing! Loved the art in the room and hallways. Really a great touch. I had a great time in Boston, and I would definitely stay here again.

I found that this was a 3 star hotel in a 5 star location. Location can almost not be beat, so close to everything you need!
But the hotel itself is fairly mediocre. Dated rooms and hallways, polite but not friendly staff, strange things like no mini fridges in the rooms, you could hear the toilet flush next door or people having conversations. All in all a good stay but not up to my expectations for the price and star rating.

Comfort, class, and style.
The location is ideal in Boston with easy access to a plethora of restaurants, great running trails by the water and the Commons. The rooms are very comfortable, all with balconies. The hotel has a classy modern feel while still being cozy. The rooftop bar attracts a lot people on the weekends. A gym is more than adequate for most people.

From the start, this hotel has provided exceptional service. We showed up at 9am when check-in is at 4pm but they put us straight into a room without hesitation. The room wasn't as breathtaking as I had expected but still much nicer than my usual stay. I ordered a few beers through room service and ended up with them for free due to the wait which was a pleasant surprise. The lobby design and art throughout the hotel are very appealing. Lastly, the location is great. It only took about 20 minutes to get to the convention center and Boston Common Gardens is only a block away.

Where do I begin? Here are a few positives:
1. Comfortable room
2. Good location
Negatives:
1. We had a 5 month old with us and a fair amount of baggage. There were 3 people at the concierge who were not attending to customers and none of them bothered asking if we needed help. A hotel guest ended up helping us.
2. Shower floor was pretty dirty.
3. They made mistakes on the breakfast order twice in two days that we stayed.
4. No signs posted indoors re the fact that you could access the parking lot from inside the hotel.
5. Balcony needs a lot of work. Easy to make it visibly appealing but just concrete structure and nothing else.
6. Food was average at best.
Thus, if you are traveling with kids, this is not your hotel. If you don't have kids, you might find a better place elsewhere.

I stayed here for 5 nights for business. I come to Boston this time of the year, annually, for a convention, and this has been the nicest and best valued hotel I've stayed at.
Pros:
Location - in the heart of downtown Boston. Plenty of places to walk to, including the Theater District, Chinatown, Boston Common, etc. There's a 7-11 located across the street to stock up on beverages/snacks. There's a laundromat and a dry cleaner located behind the hotel, one block away.
Gym - huge, plenty of treadmills, supported squat rack, tons of free weights, pull up bar, etc.
Friendly service - everyone was professional and greets you. They even offer a complimentary shoe shine service
Spacious room - clean, comfortable, big screen TV w/ 4 HBO channels, balcony with a great view
Cons:
They are undergoing construction and you have to take 2 different elevators which was a bit of a nuisance. Also, elevators didn't always seem to be working up to speed.
No mini fridge in room.
I would stay here again if I am in the area and the price is right.
