The service is always great. I cannot overstate how nice the front desk and especially the engineer was on this last visit. However, I have an issue with hot/cold issues in the room. I’ve had the same issue multiple times in non-winter months.
The rooms do not get cold enough. It is not uncomfortable, but for a five-star hotel, you should have your room temperature controlled to your desired temperature. My room will not get cold enough. So far, to the extent I’m sleeping on top of covers. There is only one vent and given the age, I imagine the hotel was built “efficiently” at the sacrifice of being able to cool to desired temperatures. Again, this is a design flaw and not an engineering issue.
It’s not the end of the world, but again for a hotel of this caliber, I would be more comfortable (temperature wise) elsewhere.
I’ve been a loyal customer, but today’s experience was truly disappointing. We moved our car out of the way to avoid blocking the street and help with the traffic flow. Instead of being appreciated, we were punished — made to wait over 30 minutes outside while three other clients who arrived after us were served first.
Where is the fairness in that? We tried to be considerate, and it cost us our time and patience. As a returning customer, I expected better treatment. This kind of service makes you feel like your loyalty means nothing.
Our room was spotless— the housekeeping team, you are amazing! Thank you for your attention to detail and impeccable cleanliness.
