Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Brookhollow

No Breakfast I understand that there is a storm but I stayed for a week and no breakfast or no coupons provided and they didn't even provide fruits or discount prices.

I am a Titanium Elite Bonvoy Member to give an honest perspective here. I had booked this hotel for a full week in Houston. This is one of the newer looking Fairfields. After checking in, i began to notice what disarray this hotel has fallen into. Letters from the signage around the hotel are missing, caps that cover the digital locks are missing on some doors. Maintenance at this hotel is obviously on the back-burner. When I got into my hotel room, I was unable to access the hotel internet. I’m savvy with tech, and no matter what I did I could not connect. First time ever in a Marriott. Okay. No biggie, I’m not that hard to please, it was just unusual for what I’ve come to expect at these properties. Then I went into the bathroom to finish up for bed. The water trickles out of the faucet. A very small stream of water. Wow. Okay. Went to bed, woke up in the morning and my face is completely swollen. Again, what’s happening here? Are the sheets not being rinsed well in the wash? Something caused me to swell up. Again, first time ever in a hotel. I need to shower to help my face get over this swelling. I jump in the shower, get all wet, reach over for the shampoo pump system that’s on the wall - it’s completely empty. Of course it is. At least I’ll be able to wash my body. Grab a hand cloth, start pumping the body wash…. Yep. Empty too. Look on the counter for more soap options - they have the bar soap for your hands. I use this, get cleaned up without shampoo. Get dressed and pack up. I left after one night. Told the guy at the front desk and he apologized. On another note, they have replaced the morning breakfast with high tech vending machines. All of our breakfast options are grab and go now in cellophane packaging. Okay Marriott I see where you’re going here and I’m not impressed. It’s obvious that whoever is running this place doesn’t care. Left such a bad taste for where Marriott is heading I ended up staying in Hiltons the rest of the week. Guess what? They all still have full breakfasts too. I’m honestly rethinking my allegiance to Marriott.

The front desk staff was very friendly however the cleaning staff did a piss poor job cleaning the room before we got here. The comforter has stains on it that didn’t feel/look clean. The soap in the bathroom wasn’t replaced, they gave us one towel instead of two. We had to make several requests for the body gel, clean sheets and towels and it was forgotten. Based on the negligence of the house cleaning I wouldn’t come back or recommend anyone staying here!

Rooms are very nice, but lobby is incredibly hot and there was no bottled water provided in the rooms or in the lobby. When I asked the man at the front desk where to get water, he said I can use the water fountain in front of the bathrooms but I would need my own cup, which again, was not provided in the rooms. Would not stay here again.

Use to be a good hotel.
I am here verde often but this hotel it’s worse and worse every day.
If you gonna stay 6 days here , they never provide cleaning. Short stuff is their excuses.
Dirty everywhere, especially the elevator..
Rooms are becoming dirty.
Breakfast they don’t provide, at the coffee station for the full week during my stay they were out of sugar. At the shop station they have just the beer. (No water , soda, candy, snacks)
