Houston, 1314 Texas Avenue 🧭 Map
All personnel is friendly and attentive, in person and over the phone. We like having a snacks and drinks at the bar before going out to our reservations. We will continue to stay here each time we visit Houston!
This place is extremely clean & the rooms are very nice. We’re happy we picked Cambria after a long drive. There’s plenty of restaurants & bars within a couple blocks
Location is convenient to the ball park and convention center. Noise and security became a serious concern for us during our stay
I did not catch the name of the day shift receptionist, but she is always so amazing !!!! We will be coming back soon! We are from San Antonio , down here for the Chris brown concert
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here!! It was super cozy !!! The valets Kevin and Josh were super helpful & made our stay even more comfortable for us
All spaces are clean, from public spaces to nooks and crannies in the rooms (tip housekeeping!). The beds are comfortable and the bedding is delightful

Excellent customer service, valet parking, onsite restaurants, easy check-in/check-out. I can't think of anything bad to say. Would definitely stay here again and again and again. great location in the city center
Valet service was excellent, Nick went out of his way to make sure we were well taken care of. He provided us with excellent service. He made us feel welcome and was very friendly. Thank you for the impeccable service
If you have a fear of heights, this is not the hotel for you! I thought I had conquered my fear of heights until I was given a room on the 17th floor and the only way to get there was a glass-backed elevator
There could have been more lighting for the photo backdrop. The ceiling pot lighting was not sufficient. The servers need a little more training, but overall the dining experience is pleasant
We were there for our award-winning author, which was published in iWrite Anthology 9. Children's Book by Children. It was very easy to navigate and park. The reception area was lovely
The sound system was great to hear the presenters, guest speakers and presenters

Nice, clean hotel in a safe part of town within walking distance from the tunnel system, many major businesses and the convention center. Quiet after 5pm since it's in the financial district
A few years ago when I stayed here you could park for free on the street on weekends. The city apparently got rid of the street parking nearby so this time I had to pay for valet parking, which was not cheap
We were in the Travis room for The Dinner Detectives, and it had a great set up, decent size, food was excellent, and above all it was extremely fun. The valet was fast and appropriately priced for the area
Nice hotel with comfortable rooms and quiet atmosphere. Staff does a good job taking care of all of your needs. The room I was in was relatibely small, but was enough for what I needed
Have used this hotel several times for work events and service is always spectacular. The hotel lobby area is clean and staff was always willing to escort me to the event location
Had a great corner room, the hotel was in a cool location near the theater and art area. Many things in walking distance. Service was great in restaurant and room service.

If you are staying in the Houston area and have the extra pocket money then there really isn't a reason not to stay here. Centrally located, fantastic customer service, spotless rooms, comfy beds
This was THE HOTEL! Hands down my best Hilton experience yet. The hotel was very nice, clean, and well kept inside and out. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay
My wife and I spent our anniversary with the hotel Nicole was far too kind and placed a nice welcome gift for my wife and I in the room! Kudos to the Hilton App for allowing me to pick EXACTLY which room I wanted to stay in! It was truly a wonderful experience and I plan to return to the Hilton Americus the next time I visit Houston! Thanks again for making our stay quite wonderful
Stayed here for a business convention. Ate and drank down at the lobby bar. Awesome service and fantastic appetizers there. Food and service during our breakouts and meals was terrific
Kudos to the banquet staff! Full sized Starbucks down in the lobby. Can't beat that for your quick coffee fix. If you go during peak times though, then expect the line to be long
While we did have a small issue at the hotel restaurant, Zach, the manager did an amazing job of handling the situation with tact and ease

We had breakfast while waiting and although her shift ended she did a proper hand over to Amanda. She them stayed as long as she could with us and even gave some suggestions for things to do
We stayed here because we were attending a concert at the Toyota Center. The hotel is still within walking distance and much more affordable than other surrounding choices. The rooms are nice and updated.
I don't know how much a ton at this place goes for but if you want to start in a nice hotel I would very that this is a good value compared to other high end hotel chains around the downtown area
The hotel is really nice, there is street parking but units it's late at night that is always full but they have a garage as well. There is a restaurant that looked pretty good as well
Went to two of the World Series games and stayed in this place. The rooms were clean the hotel people were amazing. We got a free shuttle to the game. Would definetly stay here again
I was only dropping off a delivery but the property was very modern looking, the front desk clerks very friendly and helpful, and the rooms looked pretty nice

Adrian went above and beyond to take care of us. He was apparently the only person and handled everything like a champ. Under the circumstances he is invaluable to Super 8.
Very nice, clean, spacious room. Airlines put me up for the night. Clerk was very friendly and helpful.
Night clerk did not appear happy to be at work. Room was super hot when we got there. A/C unit was a plug on style with the circuit breaker on the plug. Had to reset it before it would come on
Took most of night for room to finally cool down. Breakfast was good just cereal, waffle maker and yogurt
Staff helpful, room large and clean, breakfast nice but limited, noise from road during the night, no restaurants in walking distance, reception frequently unmanned so not sure about level of security
The upscaled rooms are better and cheap but basic needs are met here. Pool is small

Excellent bedding. Good menu at two restaurant choices and excellent gym. Pool could use a little verve, maybe some softening landscaping? Overall, an excellent place to stay.
Great 5 star option in downtown Houston. The rooms are spacious and beds comfy. Pillows could have been firmer for better neck support. The hallways were unusually colder than rooms and other areas like lobbies
I was debating between the Four Seasons and another luxury hotel. I’m glad I chose the Four Seasons. The room was updated, classic, and very comfortable. It was nice to have a bedroom separate from the kids
The pool is small though, and not very deep, and the poolside service was slow. Other than that, we’ve had a nice stay! They do late checkout for free which is very considerate
I attended the meeting in the lobby of the Bayou and Bottle Hotel. From the valet to the bartenders and staff, I was SO impressed! Soft music in the background made for pleasant conversation
The bedroom was nice and dark at night. The service was great! We interacted with the front desk, room service, and house keeping. Everything was great and we can’t wait to go back!

Arrived at 2am and the staff were still cheerful and welcoming after long delays on the way. We came for my wife's birthday and she was blown away by the facilities throughout the hotel
The pool was an amazing sight and fun to swim in. Just wasn't happy with the number of kids in the infinity pool after 6 or the number of kids jumping into the hot tub
Amelia provided a great check in and Steven at the pool is amazing. Glad to see services are still running, even during this pandemic
All restaurants were top notch and reasonably priced for food and drinks. The gym was first class and spacious
Everything is at a very high level: the rooms, the staff and the price. Really made an impression.

I stayed June 1st 2016 and I still remember how good my stay there was. They didn't have a drink I wanted so I just went up to my room and relaxed. They came later with a bucket of ice and my desired drink
even at 3AM the staff was bending over backwards to accommodate every single request. The facility is spotless and the rooms are phenomenal. Perfect location downtown with easy access to the expressways
First time staying at this hotel and will definitely be coming back. I celebrated my birthday night here and everything was perfect. Loved that it was down the street from discovery green
The bed and tub were amazing! Such a relaxing hotel. The staff and vallet were very helpful and the food was delicious!
I will certainly stay again and highly recommend that this be your first choice if you are visiting Houston

Beautiful historic building with great staff, fantastic facilities, chic rooms, and a great bar and restaurant with outdoor seating. Excellent location in the city center, in the theater district
I tend to be overly sloppy and at times (ex-New Yorker, mind you) so I liked the extra question asked for clarity, extra sentence or comment for conversation, etc as it demonstrates that everyone who works in Lancaster by actually listening to your guests
Russell (front desk) is amazing! Upon arrival, we were presented with glasses of sparkling wine and thoughtful congratulations on our anniversary! The hubs want to make this an annual tradition
Room service was nice and breakfast came to mind every morning - get a Lancaster Benedictory and thank me later. Will definitely stay here again when the wind blows me back to downtown Houston
The hospitality is second to none and the customer service is second to none. If you want to experience Houston history with a warm welcome and top notch customer service, this is the place!
The attentiveness and professionalism of the front desk staff throughout our stay is a testament to the excellent management (including room service which was done quickly and thoroughly)

Let me be clear: I realize early check-in isn't guaranteed. The lady at the front desk when I checked out of my 1st room said I could come back around noon to check into my new room
Great hotel conveniently located within a short walk to George River Brown Convention Center, Toyota Arena and all of the downtown area. All the amenities you would expect from an Embassy Suites
All while I'm waiting, big groups of people are coming in to check in (before 3 PM standard check in time) with no problems at all. I approached him again 5 minutes later seeing if housekeeping had followed up with him
I called the hotel around 1PM asking if it was ready. The agent informed me he would "call me when it's ready. No call from front desk and I have still not been checked in
1st room we had, the heater was not working. Not too bad as I arrived late and the blankets were very warm. Made a 2nd reservation and had to change room types
The General Manager even saw me sitting in the lobby multiple times (with not the best expression on my face) and never asked me if he could be of assistance

I visited recently to meet a business associate. The meeting/sitting area was very accommodating and to our surprise they had a free wine social each evening. Very friendly staff and very nice accommodations overall.
I realized when I got home that I'd left something valuable in my room. Dina and her coworkers went out of their way to find it and get it shipped back to me
It was our first time staying here and we had a great experience for the price we payed. The hotel is nice and the staff is super friendly and helpful
Great room! Dale at the front desk gave us spectacular service. Our bartender gave us a to go round even though he was a few past close. The price was insanely cheap for what we got
They offer valet parking so you dont have to worry about parking your car. Is walking distance to the minute maid and you can walk to some great restaurants around the area
Some nice skyline views from the upper floors--though not from all rooms. Free fast wifi, clean rooms, and fitness center

My room was spacious and had a luxurious extended-stay feel. While the millwork could have been a bit more upscale to match the overall vibe, I appreciated the kitchenette and the hotel's beautiful historical renovation
The hotel is beautifully designed, with an interesting circular lobby layout and a welcoming breakfast area on the second floor. The gym on the 23rd floor, complete with a rooftop pool, was a fantastic addition
The hotel offered convenient parking options, including valet parking. Although there's no lounge on the property, there are plenty of places to sit and work, as well as various dining options
It was nice to have a fridge and a door separating the shower toilet area from the sink. It was only a 10-15 minute walk to Minute Maid park which was great not having to deal with traffic
My kids loved the cookies at night and getting a coffee in the morning. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. This was one of the few places that I liked the pillows
We parked in the Binz parking garage and paid $20 a day vs the garage connected to the building that was $15 for only 12 hours. Overall, I would recommend this hotel

This historic gem in the heart of Downtown Houston is a former bank and the original vault sits in the lobby of the hotel, talk about a welcoming wow factor! From the moment you arrive you feel immersed in historic nostalgia
Beautiful hotel with old time charm. Friendly staff and a great location. Breakfast was very nice. Room had nice view with lovely rain drop shower. Room service is available and the food was delicious.
They also had a nice fitness center that I took advantage of one evening. There seemed to be a lot of bar and restaurant options near by but I did not have time to explore
The restroom and bathtub is very specious, our room was a little tight but enough room for two people to move around comfortably and view was great as we could see downtown from our window
Staff is friendly. Rooms are modern. Beds are comfy. Good location to downtown locations. Breakfast is yummy. If you have the money to spend [pricey], it's worth the experience.
This historic gem of a hotel is perhaps one of the best I’ve stayed at. The marble bathroom with its walk in shower and large windows were nothing short of luxurious

We watched the Astros opener over cocktails & appetizers and everything was delicious and beautifully plated. The atmosphere was great and the wait staff were friendly and attentive
The Sam Houston hotel is conveniently located in downtown Houston, within walking distance of Main Street's many bars and restaurants, Minute Maid Park and other sports arenas
They were very helpful and made my stay so wonderful and enjoyable. The rooms were cleaned on time and thoroughly. The walls are thick, which is great when you want to sleep
I love this hotel. I came into town from Austin for a concert and this place was exactly what I needed. Great friendly staff. Great breakfast at the Pearl.
I had a wonderful experience! I booked 2 rooms across the hall from each other for 3 weeks due to a storm. All the staff were friendly and very dedicated

We stayed for a convention and the slightly further distance to the center was worth it for the great value combo of a better rate and superior quality. You won't regret a stay here!
Their valet parking can get full on nights with events downtown, but is only 8$ when they have availability (pay at front desk before going to valet stand). The conference rooms are nice and large, with good service
This boutique hotel is one we will continue to stay at. The lobby is beautiful and spacious. There are two very nice restaurants that both serve excellent food and drinks. The staff is always friendly and helpful
The coffee shop did a great job with their drinks, and the restaurant is a must try, whether or not you are staying
Great outdoor atmosphere for coffee or drinks. Is a historical hotel that has been remodeled
What a perfect spot in downtown Houston. The room was large and the king bed comfy. The staff was attentive and friendly. Only drawback for me was the size of the bathroom. Breakfast in Edgar's was wonderful

Came here for my birthday trip 11/5 - 11/8 I give this hotel 1,000/5stars. Hotel is so beautiful! Staff : Trey, Monique, and Maddison was so pleasant and kind to me. They made me feel like I was at home
When I first came into the hotel I greeted by some awesome people. Tre helped me out with getting situated. The hotel is nice and I love it. The service is outstanding and they treat you like family
Gena in the breakfast area made my day two days in a row. I loved that the rooms didn't have carpet, it felt so much more clean than a carpeted room. The room was spacious and beautiful
Wonderful location and a terrific hotel! I want to acknowledge the outstanding service that was provided by Cotton. She was highly service oriented and influenced me to have breakfast
Since we were celebrating our anniversary , he also provided us with a free wine bottle. Also the bartender was nice but I forgot his name. The rooms were small but very nice & modern

A nice hotel that is near the convention center and walk able to a lot of other things in Houston. The elevators had issues about 80% of the time there. Compared to other hotels as well, the pool was pretty small
Great location in downtown Houston, valet parking is expensive but super convenient and efficient, Minute Maid park is a couple of blocks away which makes a great opportunity to catch a game or two hassle-free when staying here
We had a great experience , staff was cordial and welcoming. The location is walking distance from Minute Maid Park and convenient to many delicious restaurants. Definitely recommend a stay 😎
Breakfast offering is limited but high quality and tasty. Rooms are outdated but spacious and comfortable
The service was always nice and room was very clean/nice, so overall, very enjoyable. They did also offer valet parking options and a nice continental breakfast. A little confusing which "Hilton hotel" you are at though
Very nice hotel! However, there are no stairs apart from fire escape stairs that lead outside. It became kind of inconvenient on busy days when all hotel guests were trying to go down for breakfast or up at night

Close to convention center, museums and theater. I stayed here for two nights to attend a Corporate Training/Conference at the hotel
The staff really put together the event and anticipated our needs to have a seamless training. The lunch was very good, our group really enjoyed the lunch for the two days training. Breakfast and Snacks was also provided
I recently stayed here and I must say that this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. I will always recommend them to anyone visiting the Houston area.
I stayed at this lovely hotel towards the beginning of February 2018. The location is very convenient to Minute Made Park, just across the street. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff is very accommodating
Conveniently located and close to most of Houston's attractions. If you are a sports fan, Minutes Maid Park is just a stone's throw away. Other parks and stadium is also within easy reach

the staff at Aloft was awesome! Thank you for making our stay easy and comfortable. The rooms were super clean & smoke free. The guy at the receptionist desk was very helpful and kind
