Houston, 400 Dallas Street 🧭 Map
Nice, clean hotel in a safe part of town within walking distance from the tunnel system, many major businesses and the convention center. Quiet after 5pm since it's in the financial district
A few years ago when I stayed here you could park for free on the street on weekends. The city apparently got rid of the street parking nearby so this time I had to pay for valet parking, which was not cheap
We were in the Travis room for The Dinner Detectives, and it had a great set up, decent size, food was excellent, and above all it was extremely fun. The valet was fast and appropriately priced for the area
Nice hotel with comfortable rooms and quiet atmosphere. Staff does a good job taking care of all of your needs. The room I was in was relatibely small, but was enough for what I needed
Have used this hotel several times for work events and service is always spectacular. The hotel lobby area is clean and staff was always willing to escort me to the event location
Had a great corner room, the hotel was in a cool location near the theater and art area. Many things in walking distance. Service was great in restaurant and room service.

If you are staying in the Houston area and have the extra pocket money then there really isn't a reason not to stay here. Centrally located, fantastic customer service, spotless rooms, comfy beds
This was THE HOTEL! Hands down my best Hilton experience yet. The hotel was very nice, clean, and well kept inside and out. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay
My wife and I spent our anniversary with the hotel Nicole was far too kind and placed a nice welcome gift for my wife and I in the room! Kudos to the Hilton App for allowing me to pick EXACTLY which room I wanted to stay in! It was truly a wonderful experience and I plan to return to the Hilton Americus the next time I visit Houston! Thanks again for making our stay quite wonderful
Stayed here for a business convention. Ate and drank down at the lobby bar. Awesome service and fantastic appetizers there. Food and service during our breakouts and meals was terrific
Kudos to the banquet staff! Full sized Starbucks down in the lobby. Can't beat that for your quick coffee fix. If you go during peak times though, then expect the line to be long
While we did have a small issue at the hotel restaurant, Zach, the manager did an amazing job of handling the situation with tact and ease

The location is perfect, within walking distance of many downtown attractions, restaurants, and business centers. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and great city views
The hotel’s amenities, including the fitness center and business facilities, are well-maintained, and the overall ambiance is both elegant and welcoming
The lobby is stunning, and the on-site dining options provide delicious food and drinks. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making check-in and check-out seamless
Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, this is a fantastic choice for a stay in Houston
Excellent customer service, valet parking, onsite restaurants, easy check-in/check-out. I can't think of anything bad to say. Would definitely stay here again and again and again. great location in the city center

Downtown location, very good restaurant and bar in the hotel, a few restaurants close by. Staff friendly, hospitable, and genuinely interested in yourcmfort and enjoyment.
Super Friendly Staff! Staff was SO friendly and helpful! Everyone I interacted with was great! Highly recommend this hotel if you are heading to Houston
The hotel is desperately in need of a major renovation. Service was great as usual
Nice room and pool, good restaurant and bar, helpful staff. Thanks!
Great! Excellent! Best front desk staff ever 👍
The hotel was perfectly clean and well appointed. Exactly what you’d expect of a Four Seasons in a city. It is ideal for going to events at the stadium but the area wasn’t great for walking around for other exploring

We had breakfast while waiting and although her shift ended she did a proper hand over to Amanda. She them stayed as long as she could with us and even gave some suggestions for things to do
We stayed here because we were attending a concert at the Toyota Center. The hotel is still within walking distance and much more affordable than other surrounding choices. The rooms are nice and updated.
I don't know how much a ton at this place goes for but if you want to start in a nice hotel I would very that this is a good value compared to other high end hotel chains around the downtown area
The hotel is really nice, there is street parking but units it's late at night that is always full but they have a garage as well. There is a restaurant that looked pretty good as well
Went to two of the World Series games and stayed in this place. The rooms were clean the hotel people were amazing. We got a free shuttle to the game. Would definetly stay here again
I was only dropping off a delivery but the property was very modern looking, the front desk clerks very friendly and helpful, and the rooms looked pretty nice

Beautiful historic building with great staff, fantastic facilities, chic rooms, and a great bar and restaurant with outdoor seating. Excellent location in the city center, in the theater district
Beautiful hotel! I loved this hotel! The staff was friendly and the little things the hotel offers is amazing. Free snack/beverage bar in the room as well as complimentary breakfast
Bathrobes, towels and sheets were all very comfortable and clean. Large TV on wall and standard cable channels. Room was seemingly quiet even though we were right next to elevator
We had a wonderful experience at The Lancaster Hotel, and a huge part of that was thanks to Kevin at the front desk
Everyone we encountered- valet, housekeeping, breakfast staff, front desk were impeccable and friendly and provided exceptional service! The breakfast buffet is a big upgrade from the “usual” big chain buffets and the hotel overall maintains an elegant feel
From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The room was very clean and had a charming, rigid yet cozy style that gave it so much character. The entire hotel had a welcoming boutique feel to it

A nice hotel that is near the convention center and walk able to a lot of other things in Houston. The elevators had issues about 80% of the time there. Compared to other hotels as well, the pool was pretty small
Great location in downtown Houston, valet parking is expensive but super convenient and efficient, Minute Maid park is a couple of blocks away which makes a great opportunity to catch a game or two hassle-free when staying here
We had a great experience , staff was cordial and welcoming. The location is walking distance from Minute Maid Park and convenient to many delicious restaurants. Definitely recommend a stay 😎
Breakfast offering is limited but high quality and tasty. Rooms are outdated but spacious and comfortable
The service was always nice and room was very clean/nice, so overall, very enjoyable. They did also offer valet parking options and a nice continental breakfast. A little confusing which "Hilton hotel" you are at though
Very nice hotel! However, there are no stairs apart from fire escape stairs that lead outside. It became kind of inconvenient on busy days when all hotel guests were trying to go down for breakfast or up at night

We watched the Astros opener over cocktails & appetizers and everything was delicious and beautifully plated. The atmosphere was great and the wait staff were friendly and attentive
The Sam Houston hotel is conveniently located in downtown Houston, within walking distance of Main Street's many bars and restaurants, Minute Maid Park and other sports arenas
They were very helpful and made my stay so wonderful and enjoyable. The rooms were cleaned on time and thoroughly. The walls are thick, which is great when you want to sleep
I love this hotel. I came into town from Austin for a concert and this place was exactly what I needed. Great friendly staff. Great breakfast at the Pearl.
I had a wonderful experience! I booked 2 rooms across the hall from each other for 3 weeks due to a storm. All the staff were friendly and very dedicated
The hotel staff are polite and helpful and my room was clean and comfortable. Fast elevators are always a plus!

#positive #I was happy with the Nearby Shops, Bed Comfort Level, Toiletries, Soundproofing, Location, Room Layout; #GoodPraise# I am satisfied with the nearby shops, the comfort of the bedding, toiletries, sound insulation, location, and room layout
The rooms were nice, and elevator reasonably fast. The front entrance is under construction and the pool facilities are small with the pool looking green and not well kept.
Staff was great Room was clean Breakfast was very good Pool and jacuzzi was awesome!
Houston visit The curtains in my room could not close up completely. So had difficulty sleeping because of the lights coming from outside. The evening male receptionist was very kind and helpful unlike the daytime lady
I stayed for 4 nights recently. It was a nice looking place and everyone was really friendly. The breakfast in the morning was tasty and I especially enjoyed the cookies in the afternoon

Arrived at 2am and the staff were still cheerful and welcoming after long delays on the way. We came for my wife's birthday and she was blown away by the facilities throughout the hotel
The pool was an amazing sight and fun to swim in. Just wasn't happy with the number of kids in the infinity pool after 6 or the number of kids jumping into the hot tub
Amelia provided a great check in and Steven at the pool is amazing. Glad to see services are still running, even during this pandemic
All restaurants were top notch and reasonably priced for food and drinks. The gym was first class and spacious
Everything is at a very high level: the rooms, the staff and the price. Really made an impression.
My wife and I spent our wedding night here and loved every minute of it

Everything was excellent in this hotel, clean rooms, nice building. What I didn’t like was you have to park your car at the parking garage building next to the hotel and pay $21 a day.
This was the first time Checking in was an awful experience. I was having trouble with the kiosk finding my reservation so I asked for assistance boy was that a mistake. Taniy was the receptionist and was VERY rude
Situated in a great location in the heart of the city in Downtown Houston with convenient access to the MetroLine Rail which is less than a 5 mins walking distance (Red line from Main Street and Green and Purple lines from Rusk Street)
The room was cleaner, however there was still no safe. When I enquired about it, I learnt that only some of the rooms have safes which is odd to not to be a feature in all the rooms, so I shared this feedback
However, there was manually controlled air conditioning which helped. There was also no safe in my room for me to store my valuables and important travel documents which I found puzzling
There were also vending machines available if preferred. I was a little underwhelmed with the appearance of my first room. The weren't clean from the outside which affected my view

We stayed for a convention and the slightly further distance to the center was worth it for the great value combo of a better rate and superior quality. You won't regret a stay here!
Their valet parking can get full on nights with events downtown, but is only 8$ when they have availability (pay at front desk before going to valet stand). The conference rooms are nice and large, with good service
This boutique hotel is one we will continue to stay at. The lobby is beautiful and spacious. There are two very nice restaurants that both serve excellent food and drinks. The staff is always friendly and helpful
The coffee shop did a great job with their drinks, and the restaurant is a must try, whether or not you are staying
Great outdoor atmosphere for coffee or drinks. Is a historical hotel that has been remodeled
What a perfect spot in downtown Houston. The room was large and the king bed comfy. The staff was attentive and friendly. Only drawback for me was the size of the bathroom. Breakfast in Edgar's was wonderful

The hotel is beautifully designed, with an interesting circular lobby layout and a welcoming breakfast area on the second floor. The gym on the 23rd floor, complete with a rooftop pool, was a fantastic addition
My room was spacious and had a luxurious extended-stay feel. While the millwork could have been a bit more upscale to match the overall vibe, I appreciated the kitchenette and the hotel's beautiful historical renovation
I would name each person we dealt with but I am terrible at remembering names. I would like to add that the circumstances of our stay were less than ideal and the staff totally made our time there a real treat
The hotel offered convenient parking options, including valet parking. Although there's no lounge on the property, there are plenty of places to sit and work, as well as various dining options
It was nice to have a fridge and a door separating the shower toilet area from the sink. It was only a 10-15 minute walk to Minute Maid park which was great not having to deal with traffic
My kids loved the cookies at night and getting a coffee in the morning. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. This was one of the few places that I liked the pillows

I stayed June 1st 2016 and I still remember how good my stay there was. They didn't have a drink I wanted so I just went up to my room and relaxed. They came later with a bucket of ice and my desired drink
even at 3AM the staff was bending over backwards to accommodate every single request. The facility is spotless and the rooms are phenomenal. Perfect location downtown with easy access to the expressways
First time staying at this hotel and will definitely be coming back. I celebrated my birthday night here and everything was perfect. Loved that it was down the street from discovery green
The bed and tub were amazing! Such a relaxing hotel. The staff and vallet were very helpful and the food was delicious!
I will certainly stay again and highly recommend that this be your first choice if you are visiting Houston

Convenient location for walking to convention center. Very helpful and courteous staff.
The room is neat and clean, the service is warm, the facilities are new, and the hot and cold water is smooth!
Amazing service and clean and chic luxury hotel. My husband and I will be back for sure.
There is a restaurant downstairs which is very convenient
The room was immaculate, large, modern touches and chic. King size bed was comfortable. Will definitely stay here again
Gameday stay Perfect spot for an Astros game across the road at Daikin Park. Lively bar in the foyer area both before and after the game. Room was furnished in traditional Westin fashion - might be time for a freshen up?

They provided us an area for dance rehearsal at 11pm & dealt with our crazy 24 hr valet requests. If you looking for food you would have to walk at least 2 blocks before you find something
This is a central location, easy to access both good food and the convention center with short walking distance each way (0
the staff at Aloft was awesome! Thank you for making our stay easy and comfortable. The rooms were super clean & smoke free. The guy at the receptionist desk was very helpful and kind
My husband and I flew in from out of town and were extremely pleased with our stay. Matthew, at the front desk, was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful during our stay
The hotel is within walking distance of some very fabulous bars and restaurants. I would definitely recommend staying at the Aloft Downtown Houston
He provided suggestions for food and drink and let us be on the same floor as the fitness facility. The room was modern and chic and very clean

We were centrally located to several dining and entertainment areas as well as complimentary access to Lifetime Fitness for daily workouts. This was our first visit to Houston but not our last
I had the pleasure of staying for a wedding weekend and everything was absolutely fantastic. The hotel is in a great location, has great water pressure, and comfortable beds. I will be returning in the summer and fall
This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The front desk guys were amazing. The rooms are clean and aesthetically pleasing. As a woman traveling alone I felt safe. My go to when I travel to Houston for work
The staff made us feel like royalty from valet to front desk to housekeeping. It is not often that a hotel hits on all targets but they really did
We had a company event there consisting of 25 people. We used their conference room, restaurant, buffet services, and individual rooms. Upon my check in, my TV wasn’t working correctly so I called maintenance up
Jose Rodriguez helped me fix it promptly and was very courteous and friendly. The hotel is also directly connected to the mall but I didn’t notice any noise from the mall. I recommend this beautiful hotel

Loved the jet tub & shower combo. The bed was firm, which isn’t my preference. Located close to our venue for a show at Bayou Music Center which was easily walkable and plenty of food/drink options
We loved Hearsay across the street. Went for dinner and returned for dessert. Day Six Coffee was a great option, as well. Loved the overall boutique hotel experience we had here
Beautiful hotel with old time charm. Friendly staff and a great location. Breakfast was very nice. Room had nice view with lovely rain drop shower. Room service is available and the food was delicious.
Beautiful hotel and convenient location We stayed here so we could attend some baseball games at the Astros stadium. We loved that this hotel was within walking distance
I liked that it was a historic building that had been converted into a hotel. Our room was spacious & comfortable and I would stay here again
We had the cheese platter which is perfectly portioned for two people
