Location was prime for my trip. Near the airport and close to the manufacturing facility I was touring. WiFi was a but spotty. Room was clean. Front service was friendly and quick. Buffet was reasonably priced but I hear you can get coupons before. Wasn't too happy when I left a sweet water bottle behind and instead of going to lost and found it went to the trash.
Probably deserves 5 stars to be honest. Stayed right after Harvey, I know they had some flood damage, which explains the smell. Staff was amazingly hospitable and downright friendly. Restaurant was delicious, room was just fine.
Hotel has been very polite & courteous thus far during my stay. Great food & great drinks! Staff has been very helpful & nice. Would stay again if in this area again.
The stay here was good until the next day when we had to take the hotel shuttle. We had an international flight so we were scheduled to leave the hotel at 5:30am to make 2-hours before our departure. We were downstairs exactly at 5:30am. The driver never showed up. We had to ask the receptionist three times to locate the driver. She never informed us if he was on the way. She came out the back room...
The most amazing part of this hotel is the breakfast. The Good Eats restaurant has a really nice buffet with a nice morning staff. The evening crew was swamped and busy. Aside from the construction and strange layout, this is a pretty decent hotel.

Decent property.... Staff needs to b little more cooperative and courteous. Room are good... The pool area needs to be maintained properly .
Well maintained and clean rooms. Staff not so nice especially when dealing with foreigners. Facilities are very good; like gym, pool etc. Food is tasty and heavy though the no. of items in the menu are very less.
Love it here! The nicest staff and really clean rooms. There is always someone around to assist. This is our second year to stay here. We highly recommend this location for Houston stays, work or pleasure!
This hotels age is showing. It smells kind of odd and musty. The rooms are big enough but there was no fridge or microwave and the vending machines needed refilling. The service was excellent but the menu selection for Room Service was pantry at best. This is one of those hotels your stay at because it's either the only viable room around or you get it at a step discount. It's not a bad place to stay...
Nice hotel. You can tell it's a little older though and not in quite the best neighborhood. But I slept great my entire week there. Not super easy to navigate to
Good hotel. In a while it will need some remodeling, but still is a good place to stay. Not a very good place to walk to have a dinner or lunch. I paid a very fair price for 5 nights.

The room was very clean and neat. I was staying due to the convenience of staying next to the airport since I was flying out early in the morning. The shuttle service was super easy. I used it to get back to the hotel after dropping off my rental car the night before. I called the hotel and told them where I was and they came right over and picked me up. The restaurant Derricks was OK. It was nice...
The best thing I can say about this hotel is the DoubleTree standard of getting a warm cookie each day of your stay. Outside of that, the rooms are very disappointing-- old and dated; the bath tub paint was peeling under my feet; only one tiny window in the corner of the room for a sliver of natural, outside light. My work has me travel for weeks at a time, often having to do laundry while on the...
I really enjoyed this hotel. They'll give you a cookie at check in like all Double Tree Hotels. My room was really nice, with a long, granite desk where you can put all your stuff. The staff was really friendly and helpful, and there's an airport shuttle included. Taco Bell and Jack in the Box are right nearby.
A very nice Hilton property near Bush Intercontinental airport. Rooms are a little dated, but are nice and spacious. They also have a Starbucks in the lobby which is very convenient. Breakfast is very good and doesn't have the powdered eggs and razor thin bacon strips. Staff was very friendly and helpful, room and common areas were all very clean. Hotel has the digital keys, but they seemed to...
This is an awesome place to stay. Rooms are clean, all the staff are friendly and (most important ) helpful and knowledgeable. Comfortable beds, great (if a bit pricey) food. I've been here 4 times - many employees are long-term, so the turnover rate is low. Even better- they remember you. Oh, and COOKIES!!! WARM, wonderful COOKIES...

The food served at the event was actually really good. The waitstaff was attentive. Overall, it was a really nice atmosphere.
Great place to rent out for dinner and or wedding. We had an event here and it was amazing. Food was top notch, there was very good light, a nice lobby and amazing staff service. The parking space wasn’t crowded at all and my personal favorite was the elevators which were sea through glass. And you could basically see every hotel door through the lobby. I would defiantly 10 out of 10 come back here...
I absolutely love this hotel. Shuttle drivers are always prompt. Front desk staff is professional and accommodating. Check in with Kingsley is always smooth. The lobby is newly renovated and the restaurant is the best kept secret in Houston. Food is delicious and service is top notch. Farron, our waiter last night, and Daniel, who works the bar, are the best in the biz. This Marriott also offers long...
The hotel is less than 5 minutes from Hobby Airport, which makes it very convenient. The inside atrium and lounge are beautiful; the walkways to the rooms encircle the atrium. My room was standard, but the bathroom was gorgeous and appeared newly renovated. Food at the hotel is standard fare, with slightly elevated prices. The hotel staff were all very nice.
I just want to say I love this hotel! I have stayed here twice within the past 3 months and I was very pleased. On my last trip, my flight arrived super early, I called up the hotel and they allowed me to check in early, additionally they allowed me a late check out without any hassle. In-room dining service was awesome. Staff is super friendly and so accomodating Definitely will stay here on my...
Let me start by saying that the front desk was amazing. However, the hotel itself left a bit to be desired. The hotel's website says that mini fridges are part of the general amenities in each room, but that isn't the case. We had to call down and ask for one to be brought to our room (which they did very quickly), so it's not a guarantee that they'll have one for you. Also, we were initially put into...

Hotel was awesome and right across from the rear of the hotel. The rooms were clean and the staff was great. The cons were: the elevator seemed out of date as if a few people on at once would definitely get stuck, the pool area wasn't accessible (under construction) I get that it's still Covid but many hotels pool areas are open.
Great place to stay if you are going to NRG park/stadium for an event. Is literally right across the street. Clean place. Nice people. Doing well considering the challenges of hospitality in today's world.
Excellent service. The hotel was still being remodeled, but was clean. Where the Wingate really shined was the staff. Bebe checked us in and was able to change help us fix a mistake we'd made in our booking. Highly recommended if you need a place to stay near NRG Park.
Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Hotel is aged. Tub & floor stained. AC blow snowballs (a plus). Right across the street from stadium. No refrigerator in room as stated. No hot breakfast due to covid. Had to go to next door hotel for pool & bar. Shouldn't charge 5 star prices for 3 star hotel🤷🏾‍♀️

I loved the fact that I didn’t have to be dealing with the ac units by the window! this hotel has a regular ac unit like a house normally would and it was easy to use
Small rooms with big beds and big tv with cable! Fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron and blow dryer! Would give 5 but breakfast wasn't included. We did purchase an upgrade when we reserved so it saved us on the buffet. Also walls are a bit thin. Can hear neighbors or hall.
Clean spacious rooms with a full serve restaurant. Rooms were updated with comfortable bed. Hotel has gym with good variety of equipment. Great location.
We arrived very early on Wednesday 15th November and we met Latoya. She was super helpful and friendly, she kept us updated on the progress of getting a room. We had breakfast while waiting and although her shift ended she did a proper hand over to Amanda. She them stayed as long as she could with us and even gave some suggestions for things to do..when we finally got a room Amanda was so nice and...
Was a great place to stay. Went to two of the World Series games and stayed in this place. The rooms were clean the hotel people were amazing. The parking people were good. We got a free shuttle to the game. Would definetly stay here again.
We stayed here because we were attending a concert at the Toyota Center. The hotel is still within walking distance and much more affordable than other surrounding choices. The rooms are nice and updated.

beds and pillows super comfortable, Chris in the front desk very friendly and helpful - credit to your hotel.
I gave this 5 stars mainly because the Shuttle Driver Mr. Dan is an awesome, punctual and accommodating guy. He also has a limo service that transport you to the airport with very reasonable staff. Thanks for always accommodating us Dan, it's nice to see a familiar face every time my family and I visit knowing we are in good hands. We will follow you to whatever hotel you're at. God Bless.
Very friendly staff! The minute we walked in the hotel we felt welcomed. We were here for medical reasons and the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean...carpet needs updating but renovations are coming . Breakfast was good..eggs turkey sausage oatmeal pancakes fruit bagels muffins cereal toast. Staff (Lydia and her crew) with breakfast area was very nice and friendly...
Great full breakfast, wonderful staff, rooms due to be rennovated next month, yet I have paid more and gotten much less. The living part is separated from the bedroom by the bathroom, a TV in both areas. Staff very helpful; manager called after first night to see if anything needed. One TV we could not get to turn on, taken care of right away. A desk clerk was using smart phone, but put it away right...
Staff were very nice, including the cleaning staff. The free breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast, but also included a meat (bacon or sausage). The temperature in the room wasn't calibrated well- we set the A/C unit to 85 which felt way more comfortable than 70. Overall, a nice stay at a mid-price range hotel.
First of all, breakfast is great. Eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, fresh fruit, and all the coffee, juice you'd hope for plus 3 different newspapers. Great attention to the breakfast crowd. Night time it felt slim on help, although those there were very helpful. Some noisy patrons on the halls and noticeable street noise. Very convenient to arena, stadium and health department HQ. TV screens were a...

WLAN was actually for free, speed was sufficient for me (no streaming). Proximity to Kroger's store was nice. Swimming pool and Jacuzzi were fantastic :-)
The location is perfect for us because of it's proximity to Texas Orthopedic Hospital. The rooms are comfortable and I love that it has a refrigerator & microwave.
The rooms were elegant and clean. The bed was comfortable and I slept very well. Also, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The last two times I stayed in Houston on military orders I had to argue with staff about tax exemptions. My bill this time had no issues. My only complaint was how hard it was to see the parking entrance off of main st.
Comfy bed and quiet room the night before surgery. Staff was helpful and friendly. We loved our room. We loved everything but the fact that the espresso machine was broken when my bo went down to get some at the coffee place.
Loved my stay here. I did not as for a top level room yet they gave it to me and I absolutely loved the view and how near it is to basically everything! Not to mention they have a Bistro on-site!! Loved every minute of it. Came to enjoy some time off and it gave me just that.
Stayed in large king room, very nice and spacious with large pull- out desk. Very comfortable bed. Nice Bistro open for breakfast and dinner but breakfast is not included in the room rate. Food is quite good. Free hotel shuttle service is available within 3 miles of the hotel. Friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

Location, clean, complimentary water was given, nice staff, Starbucks inside, indoor pool, and garage parking for guest only.
This place is OK but you know what you're getting with a Courtyard in the US. It's clean, simple and functional. The car park barrier wasnt working so my parking was free. Rooms are typical american basic rooms; the gym is tiny, the pool is OK. I'd stay here again if only visiting for a few days but honestly, there are many many better options if you want to pay a few extra $$$
Somewhat difficult to locate the first time; however a very nice place to stay. The rooms are very nice and the location is as well. The staff are professional and very eager to please.
When staying for work, I judge hotels on: Cleanliness 4 Internet speed. 5 Shower Pressure/Hot Water 5 Gym Size 1 1 is awful, 3 is good, and 5 is great. N/a means I did not use. * This seems to be a new hotel property **4 stars is everything on par, and I reserve 5 stars for something extraordinary that happened during my stay.
Friendly staff, nice rooms, lots of free parking, starbucks and healthy alternatives in the lobby bistro, but the gym only has free-weights, treadmills and elliptical machine. All in all a nice hotel which I would stay at next time I'm in Houston.
Great service. People at front desk were quick and made things as simple as possible. Very large rooms and a good view of the city.

Very nice hotel! However, there are no stairs apart from fire escape stairs that lead outside. It became kind of inconvenient on busy days when all hotel guests were trying to go down for breakfast or up at night. All in all, though, great service, excellent and clean rooms, friendly staff, and good food. I recommend staying here, as long as there isn’t a large event going on nearby.

A nice hotel that is near the convention center and walk able to a lot of other things in Houston. The elevators had issues about 80% of the time there. Compared to other hotels as well, the pool was pretty small. The service was always nice and room was very clean/nice, so overall, very enjoyable. They did also offer valet parking options and a nice continental breakfast. A little confusing which...
Rooms are great. Location perfect for what we are doing in town. However, there was only one desk person when we arrived with our large group among several other large groups. There should have been Simone else helping at the front desk. we share a romantic weekend at the hotel and visited several places surrounding the hotel. we walked a lot since we love to hold hands and get to know a place. We were amazed at how safe we felt and the prices of everything was always within our budget.
Great hotel! I stayed here for a few days and they had very comfortable rooms, as well as a nice pool and a store downstairs with snacks and other essentials. Room service was also very good.
One of my favorite hotels! Great pool! Amazing service. There was a store downstairs with lots of snacks and miscellaneous items like soap and medicine. There were happy hour times and mingle nights. We really enjoyed our week long stay. The washers were a lil iffy. Rooms were super nice and roomy. Microwave and fridge in room. Huge windows.
This hotel is excellent, especially for the price. The staff is always welcoming and super nice. The breakfast is phenomenal, much better than the standard menu at other Holiday Inn's. It is always extremely clean and has great amenities.
The staff was really helpful and caring. I love Holiday Inn hotels, it's always a pleasure staying there.
The hotel is OK. I just didn't like how the hotel doubled in price after I tried to extend my stay. I am from New Orleans, and I just needed to stay somewhere until power was restored to my address in New Orleans. The front desk clerk ( NORA) was not sympathetic at all. There are other hotels with the same amenities that don't charge you as much.

Stay here often for business travel great location. The rooms are in need of renovation but the staff is always nice and consistent. The low turnover that I notice tells me the staff must be happy. Every time I stay, the bartender, Gary, is always here and I've come to expect to see him. Great guy.
Overall, the hotel was fine. The lobby, bar, and breakfast areas were clean and nicely decorated in a nice, neutral modern style. The actual rooms of the hotel, the hallways, and other sections have not been updated in what appears to be a long time. The hallways and rooms were a bit dingy and dark, and the carpets, wallpapers, fixtures and decor/bedding was pretty dated and dirty looking. But overlooking...
Hotel staff are friendly, courteous, and professional. Good spot near the highway. The room wasn't great. It wasn't bad, it is just very dated and could use some renovation. The housekeeper’s are even awesome here ! Thanks for the great stay My time here
Perfect place to stay on a late night. Checked in around 2 am, the man working was very friendly. Check-out time was noon so it allows you to sleep in and get the rest you need. Room over all was clean. I had a queen bed that also had a couch in it in case I needed it. The pillows were incredibly soft. The room also had a mini fridge and a blow dryer in the bathroom, which are extras that many places...
Very clean the breakfast attendant / bartender was sweet polite efficient and great at her job(s).however having my reservation for a week prior to arrival, after the 9 hour drive it would have been nice to check in before 3pm..being extremely exhausted and having to drive around an unfamiliar area for 3 hours was awful.

Great location. Close to everything! Located in a nice neighborhood of Houston! Front staff were very friendly. The breakfast was very good for being complimentary. A lot of variety and fresh. The hotel was clean as well. Would definitely stay again!
Close enough to downtown a an affordable rate. Would have given 5 stars for service if the man that was at the front desk when we checked out had provided a folio as I asked. He refused even though I had told him my students needed it to be reimbursed. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good.
Great hotel stay. Love that you can park on the same floor as your room and walk in that way. They also offer late check-in to members - until 2pm. Just ask. It's a nice hotel. I've spent a lot of time in it over the past couple years. There are a few things that could be better though.
