Had a great corner room, the hotel was in a cool location near the theater and art area. Many things in walking distance. Service was great in restaurant and room service.

Nice, clean hotel in a safe part of town within walking distance from the tunnel system, many major businesses and the convention center. Quiet after 5pm since it's in the financial district. If you are looking for night life while staying here you will have to catch a cab somewhere else in the city.

I was there for a one day conference so I didn't stay in a room. The valet service did well considering the huge volume when the conference ended. The meeting rooms and chairs were comfortable. The food was pretty average but expectations shouldn't be very high for food at a conference. Overall it was a good conference experience.

Have used this hotel several times for work events and service is always spectacular. The hotel lobby area is clean and staff was always willing to escort me to the event location. Bathrooms are easily accessible and any needs are quickly addressed. Would recommend the venue.

First thing:ROBOTS!!! They have robot security which is awesome. The bar was slow, but made decent drinks. We were in the Travis room for The Dinner Detectives, and it had a great set up, decent size, food was excellent, and above all it was extremely fun. The valet was fast and appropriately priced for the area. I would recommend this hotel for any event or overnight stay.

The staff is great. I have two major complaints. The first one is that the TV is connected to DirecTV through a coaxial cable so the image quality is not very good and was often jumpy and frequently stalled. This hotel is breathtaking. I mean it’s just so beautiful and clean. The staff is very friendly. They have a nice spa near the lobby as well as tasty restaurants. Don’t be shocked if you see a luxury cars around this hotel. It’s on the pricier side. There are also tons of places that are walking distance. The pool area is also very beautiful.

Welcome on arrival very good. Room was well appointed and hotel is beautifully decorated with many original artworks. Original mansion has been expertly restored and is stunning. Excellent Scottish waiter gave great advice.

I stayed June 1st 2016 and I still remember how good my stay there was. Absolutely fantastic service. They didn't have a drink I wanted so I just went up to my room and relaxed. They came later with a bucket of ice and my desired drink. They actually sent someone to get it. The room was great too. Can't say enough good things.

We enjoyed the stay a lot. The room and bathroom were very nice. There are a lot of restaurants around you can just walk to. We had access to concierge lounge which we liked a lot. You were able to get refreshes and snacks there and breakfast in the morning. We will definitely go there again. The service was excellent and the elevators are pretty quick as well.

I was there for a retreat. The hotel is really nice from the entrance and a nice size room. The bathroom had multiple mirrors which is helpful for when you're stepping out. The food was good. I stayed here when flooding from Tropical Storm Harvey caused me to evacuate my home. The hotel staff responded accordingly and were compassionate. The hotel is being used as a base of operations for first responders from all over the world. Although the hotel was not running at full operations, they maintained an excellent reputation.

The lobby was very pretty and clean. The rooms in the tower looked like a standard room with two full sized beds. All ceilings were pretty low, especially in the bathroom shower. Excellent hotel cheaply priced for the room size, and overall experience. Great location, good for bringing pets and having morning strolls. Nice decoration, furniture feels of good quality, bed and pillows are very comfortable, room super dark in the mornings so that is a big plus. Will be staying here next time I come back to Houston.

Really nice hotel. Rooms are well appointed with quality bedding, mini fridge, flat screen tv and a safe. Location is great as you can walk to minute park, Compaq center and compass field... us you are connected to the convention center. We didn't get to use it but there is also a decent sized pool, hot tub and coolest thing, a lazy river shaped like Texas. Staff was nice as well. Great place.

I stayed at the Westin from June 8 through June 13, 2023. I transferred to this hotel after having a bad experience at the courtyard in West University Houston. The service at this hotel was amazing. Westin Galleria was very convenient to stay at for conference, shopping, and finding food. However, I expected the rooms to be much nicer. I must say they were pretty average. They were clean, but the air conditioning wasn't all that great. I had to come from under the covers several times during the night.

I really enjoy staying at the Westin Galleria Houston Hotel. This is like having ur cake and eating it too! With the hotel being an attachment of the mall, u simply get on the elevator and step into the mall. And this mall is very nice. Has both trendy stores and high-end stores and boutiques. Various restaurants aside from the food court. This hotel/mall is perfectly centralized around everything...

Location 10/10. No more than 10-20 min from all hot spot. The hotel is literally attached to the mall. Super convenient if that interests you. Cleanliness 10/10. Smells good everywhere as well. Service 10/10 everyone we came into contact with was very accommodating. Bartender was a little aloof.

I really like this place. Come for lunch often, good service and great ambiance. 30+ year old lobby always looks elegant and new. Starbucks. Wine bar after four, service a little slow but you shouldn’t be in a hurry anyway. Nice rooms.

Great location. Was here for a dance convention and the ballrooms were amazing. The elevators were a little slow. The room was big and comfortable. Breakfast Buffet is delicious.

Huge facility, great location, easy access to Beltway 8 and I-45. Free Shuttle to IAH. Restaurant serves Breakfast & Lunch and the Bar (Vino's) serves Dinner plus they have room service and a Starbucks in the lobby. Lots of Ballroom and meeting space. Went to Hilton Houston North for a professional event in the conference room. So while I can't speak for the Hotel rooms I will say the parking, lobby and conference area were all very nice and updated. Everything was clean and modern and staff was attentive. The food and servers were also very good. Would definitely stay there if I needed a room in the area!

I was a bit disappointed. My key card didn't work all weekend, despite me going to the front desk multiple times to have it re-keyed. The plug in the bathroom didn't work, so we had to use our hair dryer and styling tools at the desk. The pool felt great, but it was supposed to close at 10pm. Our room was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. The location is within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. We were here for an event, so the location was perfect for us. We had a great view of the city from our room.

The hotel is aesthetically pleasing. However, the service was not up to par. I did not receive a microwave on the first day, as promised. There is no complimentary breakfast, but there is a Starbucks on-site and a food station that operates from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

We have stayed in lots of hotels, and this is the only one I will allow my kids to walk barefoot on the carpet, that is saying something. Front desk staff were amazing! Stayed two nights here a few months ago. The rooms are comfortable and quiet for being right in the med center. Location is perfect if the med center is where you need to be. Great location for people that don't have their own transportation. Close to the airport. Led by of food choices nearby within walking distance. Subway, Taco Bell, a Mediterranean restaurant to name a few. The lobby is very clean and spacious and the room was average for what you'd expect from a Sheraton. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff was nice and friendly. Check in/check out was easy. Housekeeping was very attentive. Location is good, but parking can be difficult since it's at the mall. Construction noise was bothersome in the mornings. All that said I've always had good experiences at Westin hotels.

Great location and price for the room. Booked a room with a king bed and they put me in a room with 2 double beds. Didn't find out until I got to the room. They said they were at 100 percent capacity. Would've been nice to know that before i walked in. Other than that I had no issues.

The hotel's location is extremely convenient, being right off I-10, and the room was very clean. We had a corner room, so the view was excellent. The service at their restaurant was top notch, I would stay here again.

Always a pleasant visit everytime I've stayed at this hotel. My friends recently got married here and the overall customer service we received was phenomenal. The hotel is pretty big and has valet and then self parking in a garage at the back of the hotel.

Smart hotel which is modern and in good condition. Helpful separate club room which we were able to use for business purposes. Breakfast was reasonable.

Rooms are clean and the bar service is usually great. Breakfast buffet is good too. Night check in service is good, or often bad. Location...LOL. This hotel is in Greenspoint. The locals, taxi drivers and Uber drivers will tell you not to stray from the hotel at night. They call the area Gunpoint.

When we arrived, seem like rush hour, there were 2 clerks 1 of which was not helpful at helping the guest get checked in. The clerk even got frustrated and walked away leaving a line of over 10 guest who needed assistance. Waited in line for over 30 minutes just to get checked in. Grand hotel. has a bit of an old school and at times dated feel to the rooms but the communal areas are rather grand. Tons of facilities including an extensive leisure centre, numerous function rooms and restaurants. The Sunday brunch is a pretty extravagant affair with a ton of choice of an overall good quality All interactions with staff were excellent - very helpful and polite.
