Amazing! Can't wait to go back! Booked this place for a fantastic price in .ᴄᴏᴍ I loved this hotel and am so grateful to stay at my favorite place for so much less than I usually spend. This was my second time staying here and everything was fine. I would definitely stay here again.

I LOVE THE RENOVATION I've always loved being here. The first time was for my birthday and they were the sweetest! I had a surprise delivery of cake etc and a card with a note from the hotel! It was amazing. I haven't been out in a while due to covid so I decided to take a break and visit the Marriott for the day and the new rooms are amazing! The staff is very nice and I really liked the comfortable beds. I can't wait to stay here again

I love the hotel. We have been coming here for many years. Although a few things have changed over the years that will prevent us from staying here again in the future. Our son has special needs and a favorite feature we enjoyed at the Houston Marriott North was the "indoor/outdoor heated pool." We just discovered today that they filled the inside of the pool and now we only have a smaller outdoor pool. Due to our son's preference for an indoor pool, in the future he will most likely stay at the Hilton or other hotels in the area that have indoor pools.

Smart hotel which is modern and in good condition. Helpful separate club room which we were able to use for business purposes. Breakfast was reasonable.

Rooms are clean and the bar service is usually great. Breakfast buffet is good too. Night check in service is good, or often bad.

Location...LOL. This hotel is in Greenspoint. The locals, taxi drivers and Uber drivers will tell you not to stray from the hotel at night. They call the area Gunpoint.

This location and the operations is terribly below standards. The bathroom is the only nice feature. My room had a non working phone! Housekeepers never sweep or wiped down the room and I was there over a month. Employees steal items from guests rooms, cars being damaged and management lies about cameras not working so police reports can’t be made not to mention the rude staff. Worst stay EVER!!!! There was more but I just don’t have the energy y’all.

Highly suggest! My room was neat, clean and updated! The hotel is in a great location and the customer service I received from Gregory was excellent! Will definitely be staying again when in town! I am very pleased with my stay!

When we arrived, seem like rush hour, there were 2 clerks 1 of which was not helpful at helping the guest get checked in. The clerk even got frustrated and walked away leaving a line of over 10 guest who needed assistance.
Waited in line for over 30 minutes just to get checked in.
The new upgrades are not geared towards families with little one. The rooms have no microwave. Traveling with a new born and and young child, having to leave the room at all times of night just to warm his milk and snacks was the WORSE thing ever. Room rates increase with less amenities.
Showers doors are fancy but you have no privacy.

Booked a room with a group rate. Chose the King room with concierge service & called to verify the service (free breakfast, lounge access) was included. Was told that it was, and that the concierge lounge was also stocked & available as advertised. surprise surprise, Saturday morning I got told that the free breakfast that is supposed to be included was NOT included because of the group rate by the extremely rude overnight desk clerk. I had to feed myself and my kid, so I paid the exceptionally high price of $24 for a glorified continental breakfast (they were nice enough to not charge me for my 2 year old). I asked about it again to the day desk clerk who told me it SHOULD have been included & gave me a voucher for the next day....still working on how to get my refund from the Saturday breakfast.
Starbucks was never open.
The concierge lounge while accessible, was NEVER stocked with drinks, snacks, or even cups to use the coffee machine in there. It was dirty as well, like housekeeping just skipped over taking the trash out from there.
The room was spacious & had motion activated lights which was cool, the pull-out couch looked like it had a brand new (and comfortable) mattress. Main bed was clean & comfortable, pillows did fall flat during the night though.
The hallways on the floors are dim, kind of dirty, and have random lamp/wall sconces right at head level sticking pretty far out into the walkway.
You have to use your key-card to use the elevator (which wasn't told to me at check-in so I was standing in the elevator looking like an idiot).
Our room was OK, I couldn't get the temp control set easily & kept having to mess with it.
The BIGGEST issue I had, was that on our final day, we went downstairs for our event & had already packed up the majority of our room except for 2 backpacks. When we came back upstairs at 1015am (almost a full hour before check-out time), we found our door propped open with towels, things rearranged on the coffee bar and our bags opened on the bed.
#1-we had the 'do not disturb' tag hanging on our door, so housekeeping should have not come in anyway
#2-it was well before the scheduled checkout time, so housekeeping shouldn't have been doing the room turnover yet
#3-even if it WAS housekeeping doing a room clean/refresh, the room was left opened and unattended as there were no housekeeping carts outside and we had not requested a room refresh.
As a result, we had some headphones go missing. Thankfully that was the only thing of value in the backpacks, everything else was just clothes.
I didn't bother stopping at the front desk on the way out to express my concerns because every other time I tried to ask a question I was met with "I don't know" or with a very rude & unhelpful person.
Multiple phone calls asking to speak with a supervisor have left me waiting only to get the call disconnected. Maybe by leaving this review I can get a response.

If I could leave more than 5 starts, I would do it! This hotel exceeded my expectations during my stay in Houston. The airport transfer was clean and on time, just as Megan promised at the front desk. The driver was very nice and quickly took me to the hotel. I was even able to register on my app and was given a digital key on the way to the hotel, so I just walked straight to the elevator and headed to my room. They even upgraded me to a high floor with a great view! The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable, just what I needed after a long day of flying!! Working in the airline industry, I rarely find such good customer service and reliability. Overall my experience was top notch and I highly recommend staying here if you need a good night's sleep before or after your flight on the Houston Intercontinental.
