Spent a week here in early November 2022. This was probably one of the best experiences we have ever had at a hotel. Beautiful and well maintained man-made lagoons. I like how the nets keep sharks from swimming in. Shower and clean bathrooms are in the area. Parking is free but can be full. We had to wait about 15 minutes before finding a spot.

Very nice. We had a two room condo. Tub & shower were separate. Scenery was amazing. You can walk around & swim in each of the four lagoons. There's a plaza w a restaurant in walking distance (bout a mile away). The Luau was awesome; great food. Our room faced the ocean so we could see the sunset every evening. Very relaxing time.

Great place to stay with kids (11 and 13). pool was really nice, lagoon was great for kids that are still learning to swim. Enjoyed that this lagoon was not crowded compared to Disney one nearby. This place was amazing! There was a beautiful view and back porch. My family purchased a 2 bedroom room, which was plenty of space for the four of us. The smaller bedroom has two twin beds that could be split or merged perfect for the kids. The customer service was great and there was even a greeter to help us navigate the island and our rooms.

This is not really a "hotel". It's a building with privately owned condos which vary widely in quality. Some of them are lovely, with full kitchens, a small living room and a washer/dryer. Others are small, with a kitchenette, and no real amenities. It's a quiet building. And each unit has separate wifi so it's really fast. You are in downtown Honolulu, so you are close to business but not the beach...

I didn't stay at the hotel but dined at the buffet at the restaurant. It's always good but I miss the shrimp tempura, and it seems they removed the soft serve ice cream machine...which I enjoy but they still had a selection of I've cream in a cup...and toppings so I was happy! Price is higher so nice to have the IDcard for a little discount.

This is a nice budget-friendly hotel and had a great staff and restaurant. Rooms could be more updated, but overall a good hotel for those on a budget. Walking distance to great shopping and eateries.

It was fun feeding the fish for just fifty cents. The brunch spread want vast, from crab and prime rib to drumstick ice cream cones. The over the water private room was cool to be in, but a little crowded.

Perfect hotel to reduce costs but the rooms are very dated and small. They will try to charge you for everything so come prepared. The pool is very small and it is quite a walk to the beach. The hotel was very clea an comfortable. My only complaint was checking in. There were only two clerks and a large number of us came in around the same time. Took about 45 minutes to check in but once I was at the counter it was quick. Full room cleaning service each day and the room was spotless.

First time staying here and I must admit I was rather impressed. The rooms are spacious and view can be amazing to if you get an ocean view. The only downside is parking…. Depending on the amount of traffic flowing in and out of the hotel you can find yourself waiting a few minutes for car. Self Parking is $38 and Valet Parking is $45. Great place to kick back, I got a room through air B&B, the room was very expensive for the lack of square footage. Both elevators did work, the parking security gave me trouble even though we told them we had a room ans said they might have towed us. The view was great, the lack of railing was kinda sketchy. This is a condo hotel and if you're not expecting a real hotel it's great. There is no Lobby or front desk service. No one here to give you your key you need to get it from a lockbox. Since I've been here both elevators are working fine and the parking is great. The room is nice and the view is great. You can't beat the location for this cost.

Very nice, clean, and well maintained hotel in the heart of Waikiki. Did not have a ramp for the stroller, just a lift for a wheelchair. Hotel is next to the beautiful lagoon with lots of entertainment for kids. Pools are nice and clean. Onsite pool bar serves really decent food and drinks.

We had an amazing stay with the Modern. Everything from the get go was superb. Hotel’s location is incredible, short walking distance to Honolulu’s hottest spots and super close to the beach. Had breakfast at one of my favorite breakfast spots on the island. Cinnamon's is an excellent choice for breakfast if you are in the area. It has all outside seating with a great view of the ocean. It has never been too hot when we have gone.

The resort staff and everyone we interacted with in Honolulu were so kind. We plan to return now that we have done all the tourist stuff and just relax and explore around the resort. Short walk to Waikiki beach with a nice tide pool for smaller children. The studio room has a very comfortable king size bed, complete kitchen, sofa, tv, and desk.
