Lagoon is nice way to swim in ocean while seeing these waves, but not experiencing them. Ocean view is great
Lots of swimming pools and hot tubs that open until 10pm which is nice. Lagoon is nice and peaceful. Walls for rooms can be thin and pillows are too high and firm; shampoo isn’t great either. Other than that, overall a great stay if you want a resort feel with good pool and private beach. One of the pools has a volleyball net and basketball hoop. You can rent a volleyball or pool ball from them to...
Nice location but hotel is a little dated. The beaches are man-made lagoons. Good thing is that it's protected from the rough water outside. Drawback is that the lagoon water is murky and has no fish to see. Beyond the lagoons, water is rough and not suitable for snorkeling or swimming.
This hotel is okay for a stay but not the best as a Marriott vacation club primary location. It's nice for one...
I stayed here 4 years ago and felt like I had a more magical experience than this go -around. The pros: the grounds are lovely, the beach is calm and beautiful. there are plenty of pools with lots of chairs, I enjoyed the exercise classes. The cons: housekeeping never came one day, and for the price you are paying to stay here in a villa, no service should be overlooked. The next day we had a plate...
A great location and excellent facilities. It was a perfect place to have a holiday with my wife, daughter, son in law and 4 year old grandson and 10 year old grand daughter
The on site restaurants were also very good and the beach lagoons and pools were excellent.
We loved our stay so much we added a few more days. Unfortunately our 1 bedroom and full kitchen room wasn’t available but we still liked the guest room. Our room was clean and had everything we requested. Beach view from our room was beautiful. Stayed here for a little more than a week and my toddlers loved it. The beach was perfect for our babies to play in and we also did captains show which was...

I spent the week at this resort and it was the most relaxing, luxurious stay I've had.
The high standard of service is so seamlessly executed. I spent almost every day at the infinity pool on the ocean side.
The poolside service dazzles. Rodel was my favorite server. He made sure I always had what I needed at all times. I felt so taken care of.
There is no experience like the Four seasons. From the...
Where do I begin? This place was just magical. I have stayed at 5 start resorts all around the world including top rated ones such as Aman and nothing comes close to the service provided here. The welcome experience, the discounted room upgrades, and the service was just top notch. Sure the elevators etc were a tad old - but between the view and the service I was blown away. I stayed over Christmas...
We stayed at the Four Seasons just after thanksgiving this year. It was our first time but definitely won't be the last. Sean the manager, Mike in concierge, and a very friendly woman at the front desk who's name I forgot but starts with A (I think) were stand out members. Everyone here goes above and beyond to make you feel special. Truly a world class experience staying here. Thank you so much to...
Can't say enough good. We celebrated our anniversary here and the staff were simply amazing. We had wine and cookies and chocolate covered strawberries and fruit in our room when we arrived. When we went to the beach, before we could even sit down, someone was right there covering the beach chair in a towel and handing us a menu and a glass of ice water.
The valet staff were superb. The iPad in the...
We loved it here and will definitely be back. Our room was amazing and the grounds and beautiful. The food was good (not great) and there is a limited menu poolside. The drink service by the pool was also fairly slow and we often had to wait a while to order but others wise we had a great stay. I would defintiely recommend to friends and family.
This is by far the best hotel my family and I ever stayed in! Everything was perfect! Cameron at the front desk provided exceptional customer service and was very detailed in giving us information about the hotel! And was upfront about the taxes we had to pay for the hotel! The services were very organized and it was easy to get a reservation at Mina Fish House through Open Table or simply talking...

Airport Honolulu Hotel

2nd Hotel I stayed in after I arrived in Honolulu, stayed about 2 weeks. Room was clean with daily service and they are super pet friendly, they even have a double gated "leash off" potty area where the mutt can run around without their leash for a bit and socialize with other dogs, though the pet area does kind of smell bad due to some irresponsible owners bot picking up. The Airport Honolulu does...
I like this simple hotel. Being so close to Honolulu airport means it's convenient for me for a quick layover (after a domestic flight), before an early morning flight to Australia. It also serves it's purpose as a quiet place to lie horizontally, after my 10 hour return journey, before a domestic flight the next day. The beds are always clean and bug-free. The staff have always been polite and helpful...
We're military and staying at the hotel until we get on post housing. The staff has gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the food is amazing. You wont be disappointed.
The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. I had their breakfast at the hotel restaurant and it was delicious. The pool area is very nice too. I was here for only one night but i wouldn't mind staying longer if needed. It's definitely away from Waikiki and good for business or any kind of short trip needs.
Really close to the airport and amazing to have the complimentary shuttle! To go to the city without a car is also convenient as it is close to a few bus stops and though the ride to town is long, it's convenient to have if you are only a couple of days in Honolulu and don't want to rent a car Hotel and room were really clean and kept as such Very happy with the overall service, the staff and their...
I didn’t like the sign in the courtesy shuttle asking to tip the person to lift a bag. The day we checked out front desk staff gave us wrong information about catching the shuttle and weren’t as friendly

We chose this hotel for its proximity to the airport, for a stopover between Melbourne and New York and were very happy with it! We were greeted warmly, advised on where to eat (IHOP down the road was excellent too!), slept well in comfortable beds with blackout curtains and were refreshed for the next part of the journey. Shuttle bus worked seamlessly as well. Thank you all for a wonderful, albeit...
Friendly and helpful staff. Limited parking for check-in, but lenient use for the 15-minute parking for check-in. Free parking, breakfast, and shuttle to/from the airport for hotel guests. I booked two rooms with double beds, and both rooms were comfortable and quiet. Bathrooms are acceptable with a hair dryer. Roll in handicap showers also available upon request based on availability. Walking distance...
This is an older, well cared for location. The beds are only full sized, so very small for a couple, but comfortable. The dining area is clean and well laid out. They have a new and separate barista type coffee shop in the hotel that says it is about to have its grand opening. This location has several restaurants within walking distance, which is really helpful. The rooms have small refrigerators...
One of the best hotels with the greatest service. Staff was very kind and understanding of our situation coming from the main land to Hawaii. Great place to stay at even as military
Room was clean, friendly staff. Great location. Great parking. Would recommend. Also can't beat the price
So I stayed a night before leaving for Tahiti the next day. If your looking for an inexpensive place for a night or two depending on your schedule this is a cheap and friendly place for a good price. The room was clean and the location is very close to the airport and next to a 24 hour gas station, a McDonald’s and a Starbucks I believe. A solid 3. it is not the Marriott room is small, bed is still okay, only has a shower no bathtub. The staff is polite, they have a Chinese restaurant and a bar on the premises. Food at the restaurant is really good, small bar but nice atmosphere beverages average price. other than that the only downfall is the location, there is a park right behind me but it is mainly used for canoeing, you are centrally...
Outside neighborhood a little sketchy.
Would not leave the immediate grounds once sun goes down.
Internet access is pretty much non existent.
Customer service tried to get it working but could not.
Of three devices only phone could seem to access Internet. If
Clean surroundings is all you require then it will be fine
Decent little place. The rooms are basic, with shower/bathroom, somewhat dated with a funny smell from cleaning chemicals that persisted after airing out. Staff was amazing! Had a few interactions and every time they went above and beyond. My only real complaint is the parking lot is not big enough to hold all of the cars, so make sure you get here early. I believe some of the people from the bar/restaurant...
Under new management and many nice changes. New floors make it pet friendly. Clean rooms. If you don't mind the sound of jets and planes it's a nice place to just rest. If you are looking for a place to sleep while out all day it's great.
It was adequate for our purposes. We needed a single night prior to meeting the rest of our group at a resort. That said it's a fairly standard motel, but it happens to be in the middle of an industrial district. The state park behind it was sketchy at best and full of leering homeless people. That's not the fault of the hotel, but I wouldn't call it out or even mention that it's nearby as a perk of...
Location was great if close to the airport. Not close to much else, but only a 10 minute walk to the bus. Rooms were very small and not dirty but not clean. Price was great and most of the staff was nice and accommodating. They let us keep our bags in a locked room after we checked out and went on a tour; very nice of them! Would stay again if on a budget and/or needed to be close to airport.

This hotel is in an Executive building with businesses and private residences in downtown Honolulu. We got a room on the 36th floor, overlooking the harbor. It was a beautiful view but there were no balconies. It was a wall of floor to ceiling windows. The room itself was clean but dated. You get a small fridge and a microwave. There is a restaurant/bar on the first floor and many places to eat within...
Great place for extended stay. Keep in mind, all condos are privately owned, but managed and cleaned by the Aston.
With that said, no two condos are alike. All have different amenities and decor. Some recently renovated and look brand new, others heavily used and smell. Condos above 20th floor have awesome view. Unfortunately you can’t open windows to let the fresh air in as most of the AC units...
Great hotel, really nice room. It was clean and large enough for our family of 3. Comes with everything you could possibly need if you're going to stay awhile. Bed was a little uncomfortable, but not too bad that we couldn't sleep.
This is not really a "hotel". It's a building with privately owned condos which vary widely in quality. Some of them are lovely, with full kitchens, a small living room and a washer/dryer. Others are small, with a kitchenette, and no real amenities. It's a quiet building. And each unit has separate wifi so it's really fast. You are in downtown Honolulu, so you are close to business but not the beach...

I didn't stay at the hotel but dined at the buffet at the restaurant. It's always good but I miss the shrimp tempura, and it seems they removed the soft serve ice cream machine...which I enjoy but they still had a selection of I've cream in a cup...and toppings so I was happy! Price is higher so nice to have the IDcard for a little discount.
This is a nice budget-friendly hotel and had a great staff and restaurant. Rooms could be more updated, but overall a good hotel for those on a budget. Walking distance to great shopping and eateries.

Great place to stay warm up food wash clothes and iron them, play video games a family can really save money, pretty beds oh you can make toast and coffee..wow wow
It was fun feeding the fish for just fifty cents. The brunch spread want vast, from crab and prime rib to drumstick ice cream cones. The over the water private room was cool to be in, but a little crowded.
Great place. Offers shopping near by. Good for the kids they liked the pool. If be the best was the floating restaurant with the koi.
Perfect hotel to reduce costs but the rooms are very dated and small. They will try to charge you for everything so come prepared. The pool is very small and it is quite a walk to the beach. We liked the rooms but caution you not to stay here too long...it is small. The staff is great and the shop at the lobby has great snacks. A hotel who misinformed its guests, causes a problem , and then just say sorry we can’t do anything and walks away. Daryl the manager, just ruined the hotels image for me.
This place once was called the Ala Moana Americana (hotel)" before the new condo-hotel transitional period/era.
Signature Steak restaurant, on the hotel guests' elevator (36th floor) had replaced Aaron's (On Top) restaurant. I remember this place back in the day. (Piano bar ?)
Starbucks is by the lobby area and Rumours nightclub. Ala Moana mall side elevator only has 13 floors. Yuzu restaurant is gone: I had a Lotus Root Pizza there once.

Consistently ranked as one of the best hotels in Honolulu, and after a week's stay I can see why. The service is excellent. Friendly, fast and accommodating, but never annoying. True aloha spirit. We had such a wonderful stay at Prince Waikiki! All of the hotel's rooms offer stunning ocean views and windows that open wide to let in the breeze. We stayed at Prince Waikiki for one week in mid-May 2021 and had an amazing experience! The staff is INCREDIBLY friendly, helpful and professional. The room is very spacious and clean. Stellar hotel all around, from the grand and textured ocean design of the lobby to the thoughtful and spacious layout of the king bedroom. The pool was also layered with a main swimming area great for families and an extra infinity...
Spacious rooms, extremely clean, and great staff. Located in Waikiki within walking distance of the beach but in an area that’s less crowded and easier to navigate. The hotel offers a shuttle that will take you to different parts of Waikiki during the day. The gym is also open 24 hours which is a good way to work off all the delicious food you’ll be eating. View from the ocean facing room is fabulous
I dined at the 100 Sails buffet. It was a reasonable price for the spread they provide. Honolulu, 1700 Ala Moana Boulevard 🧭 Map
The location was amazing, overlooking the beaches to Waikiki and Honolulu! The elevator was troublesome because only one was in operation. This made for a timely entrance and exit as the building was nearly 40 floors. Clean and tidy place. The room was amazing with an amazing view overlooking the beaches!
Great place to kick back, I got a room through air B&B, the room was very expensive for the lack of square footage. Both elevators did work, the parking security gave me trouble even though we told them we had a room ans said they might have towed us. The view was great, the lack of railing was kinda sketchy. But you can not beat the location. The building felt tired and dated it could use some TLC
Friendly staff. Spacious rooms. Well with the price. Bed was very comfortable. Extremely clean rooms and great amenities
This is a condo hotel and if you're not expecting a real hotel it's great. There is no Lobby or front desk service. No one here to give you your key you need to get it from a lockbox. Since I've been here both elevators are working fine and the parking is great. The room is nice and the view is great. You can't beat the location for this cost.

Very nice, clean, and well maintained hotel in the heart of Waikiki. Did not have a ramp for the stroller, just a lift for a wheelchair.

We had an 11 night stay at The Modern and it was very nice. This is more of what we call a home base hotel. You spend the day out exploring and head back home to your room at the end of the day. The one bedroom is a nice size.

Not the newest or most modern, but kept clean and in good repair. Staff is courteous and helpful. Parking space is not an issue. It's just close enough to Wakiki to participate in those activities if you wish, but at the edge so easy to make a quick escape. We used the room as our base of operations for a few days and travelled all over the island hiking and snorkelling.
Not bad for the price. Rooms a little dated and need a little maintenance but acceptable for a couple of nights. Staff friendly, parking decent. Overall a pretty ok experience as long as your expectations are realistic.
Friendly staff. Rooms are a bit dated and small but only stayed for 1 night luckily. They had a little shop for souvenirs. And a restaurant attached that you get a discount for. I liked that they had chargers for you attached to the phone. Very convenient.
Remodeler Plaza Waikiki was fantastic experience. They had a little fridge and a microwave and a safe in the room. The beds were fairly comfortable. The bathrooms were fairly clean

It was great overall. Not a bad price to be so close to the beach and the rooms and bathroom was clean. I wish the comforter was thicker but that's the only 1 negative about the room. Also, they have two attendants on duty watching their parking spots that are reserved for guest only. When I pulled up to inquire if they had any available rooms that night, both of these attendants walked up on my car...
Very close to the beach where we watched the sunset. Easy to walk to various attractions and lots of tour buses are picking visitors up nearby. Only thing was that the safe in our room was low on battery and essentially useless. It was also much easier to get things you needed (e.g. shampoo, toothpaste) if you go downstairs and ask directly. We never got it whenever we would call for it from our room

We ate at the IHOP restaurant. Food was great! Waitress was fantastic. We had to wait to be seated because the hostess was fixing problems with a take out order. But once we were seated, it was great!
Stayed in a room with a king bed and a pull out couch. Beds were comfortable and clean. Room was quite small but functional. Had almost no balcony and the balcony doors let in a lot of the noise from the street. Pool was in the shade most of the day. However it is very close to the beach so the shady pool wasn't the worst thing.
Big disappointment. You would think from the location and all the big hotels around that it would be top notch. My room was comfortable, but that was about it. The frig was super small that you couldn't get more that three items in it. It's a good thing it had a shower, because the tub was literally only about 3 feet long. In the hall where I can only assume was at one time an ice machine, was nothing...
We ate at the IHOP restaurant. Food was great! Waitress was fantastic. We had to wait to be seated because the hostess was fixing problems with a take out order. But once we were seated, it was great!

Hilton Grand Vacation Club The Grand Islander Waikiki Honolulu
Honolulu, 2023 Kalia Road 🧭 Map
Room was clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had all the utensils needed to cook.
We've been to Hawaii many times. This time we stayed in the Grand Islander and were very happy about it. The hotel manager, Tianya, was very kind, professional and helpful. She made our stay very enjoyable.
This is a really good place. The room was clean and everything needed was provided for a temporary stay away from home. We definitely had a good time there.
It was a wonderful vacation. I felt relieved because the anti-corona measures were also firm. I was particularly impressed with the room cleaning. There were inconveniences in restaurants, shops and premises because it was a corona disaster. However, this was inevitable, and even so my stay in Waikiki was quite satisfactory. Hoping to return to a proper Hilton after the Corona disaster, I would like...
I stayed in both one room and two room suites. While everything is very perfect and polished, it is missing a lot of, what I consider, important conveniences. Not just the hotel, but the surrounding area. There's no real supermarket anywhere nearby, besides little souvenir shop convenience stores, so just remember to bring even the small things like tea bags, salt and pepper, and ketchup. There's also...
Very nice hotel. We stayed in a suite and it had awesome view (22nd floor) and very nice rooms. Price is high but it's worth.

Hilton Grand Vacations Club at Hilton Hawaiian Village
Honolulu, 2003 Kalia Road 🧭 Map
2 bedroom with 2 baths and kitchen suites our family of 5 very well. Liked that the area is much quieter than where we have stayed in other towers.
Beautiful facility. Lush, Hawaiian landscapes. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Great place for families.
A wonderful and beautiful place to stay! The staff were all friendly and eager to help. The only problem I had was with the fellow who cleans the swimming pool, who is not an actual employee of the hotel, (the Lagoon Tower)!
Only got a tour of the place, it is very nice but I'm not into time shares so I can't really give my honest opinion on the matter.
This hotel is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. There are many restaurants, at least 3 pools, private lagoon, beach access. Our room is a 2 bedroom suite with a gorgeous ocean view off the balcony. It even has a fancy toilet/bidet with heated seat. 3 TVs with 2 PlayStation/DVD sets. They have a free DVD and game library in the lobby. The room is equipped with just about anything you'd need...
Took my family here a couple of weeks ago. Rooms were cleaned and ready for our stay. Staff was great and friendly. What a nice place! Kids had fun, lots to see and shops. Friday's is fireworks show by the lagoon. We will stay here again in the future!
