This is not really a "hotel". It's a building with privately owned condos which vary widely in quality. Some of them are lovely, with full kitchens, a small living room and a washer/dryer. Others are small, with a kitchenette, and no real amenities. It's a quiet building. And each unit has separate wifi so it's really fast. You are in downtown Honolulu, so you are close to business but not the beach...

I didn't stay at the hotel but dined at the buffet at the restaurant. It's always good but I miss the shrimp tempura, and it seems they removed the soft serve ice cream machine...which I enjoy but they still had a selection of I've cream in a cup...and toppings so I was happy! Price is higher so nice to have the IDcard for a little discount.

This is a nice budget-friendly hotel and had a great staff and restaurant. Rooms could be more updated, but overall a good hotel for those on a budget. Walking distance to great shopping and eateries.

The location was amazing, overlooking the beaches to Waikiki and Honolulu! The elevator was troublesome because only one was in operation. Great place to kick back, I got a room through air B&B, the room was very expensive for the lack of square footage. Both elevators did work, the parking security gave me trouble even though we told them we had a room ans said they might have towed us. The view was great, the lack of railing was kinda sketchy. This is a condo hotel and if you're not expecting a real hotel it's great. There is no Lobby or front desk service. No one here to give you your key you need to get it from a lockbox. Since I've been here both elevators are working fine and the parking is great. The room is nice and the view is great. You can't beat the location for this cost.

Very nice, clean, and well maintained hotel in the heart of Waikiki. Did not have a ramp for the stroller, just a lift for a wheelchair. Hotel is next to the beautiful lagoon with lots of entertainment for kids. Pools are nice and clean. Onsite pool bar serves really decent food and drinks.

Came here for a week of relaxation. The hotel is beautiful, 2 bedroom suite was great BUT all we heard the entire time we were here was yelling and chanting and drumming of the employees on strike. The one bedroom is a nice size. Comes equipped with just about everything that you need, including a waher/dryer, which is handy. You, unfortunately, are away from the Hawaiian Village resort area and beach. The hotel itself is very nice, with friendly staff, that's doing an amazing job with the strike going on. Outside of all the racket,you hardly notice that there's anything going on.

The complex is a little dated but kept in very good condition. Extremely clean and daily housekeeping was of a very high standard. The Hilton lagoon was loved by the children. The apartment we stayed in was well set up and very comfortable - full kitchen and modern washer and dryer.

We had a two room suite which was great. The staff was wonderful and the location is right in the heart of Waikiki.

Not the newest or most modern, but kept clean and in good repair. Staff is courteous and helpful. Parking space is not an issue. It's just close enough to Wakiki to participate in those activities if you wish, but at the edge so easy to make a quick escape. We used the room as our base of operations for a few days and travelled all over the island hiking and snorkelling.

Very close to the beach where we watched the sunset. Easy to walk to various attractions and lots of tour buses are picking visitors up nearby. Only thing was that the safe in our room was low on battery and essentially useless. It was also much easier to get things you needed (e.g. shampoo, toothpaste) if you go downstairs and ask directly. Stayed in a room with a king bed and a pull out couch. Beds were comfortable and clean. Room was quite small but functional. Had almost no balcony and the balcony doors let in a lot of the noise from the street. Pool was in the shade most of the day. However it is very close to the beach so the shady pool wasn't the worst thing.

We ate at the IHOP restaurant. Food was great! Waitress was fantastic. We had to wait to be seated because the hostess was fixing problems with a take out order. But once we were seated, it was great!

Room was clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had all the utensils needed to cook.

We've been to Hawaii many times. This time we stayed in the Grand Islander and were very happy about it. The hotel manager, Tianya, was very kind, professional and helpful. She made our stay very enjoyable.

I stayed in both one room and two room suites. While everything is very perfect and polished, it is missing a lot of, what I consider, important conveniences. Not just the hotel, but the surrounding area. There's no real supermarket anywhere nearby, besides little souvenir shop convenience stores, so just remember to bring even the small things like tea bags, salt and pepper, and ketchup. Very nice hotel. We stayed in a suite and it had awesome view (22nd floor) and very nice rooms. Price is high but it's worth.

2 bedroom with 2 baths and kitchen suites our family of 5 very well. Liked that the area is much quieter than where we have stayed in other towers.

A wonderful and beautiful place to stay! The staff were all friendly and eager to help. The only problem I had was with the fellow who cleans the swimming pool, who is not an actual employee of the hotel, (the Lagoon Tower)!

Only got a tour of the place, it is very nice but I'm not into time shares so I can't really give my honest opinion on the matter.

This hotel is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. There are many restaurants, at least 3 pools, private lagoon, beach access. Our room is a 2 bedroom suite with a gorgeous ocean view off the balcony. It even has a fancy toilet/bidet with heated seat. 3 TVs with 2 PlayStation/DVD sets. Took my family here a couple of weeks ago. Rooms were cleaned and ready for our stay. Staff was great and friendly. What a nice place! Kids had fun, lots to see and shops. Friday's is fireworks show by the lagoon. We will stay here again in the future!
