It is surely concortable and cozy. The atmosphere made me feel at home in Hawai. Its location emphasizes the hotel's brilliant architectural looks and importance. There is also a park just across and several restaurants nearby. Its own restaurant is phenomenal since the staff awesome and courteous attitude makes you feel at home. All in all, this hotel will not disappoint any visitors to the great Hawai.

Staff was great! Location is decent!
Hotel and rooms are horrendously dated. The elevators? Prep an extra 10 minutes every time you leave as they are the slowest and smallest ones I’ve ever been in. I tried to use the soap pumps and they just fall off the wall as they’re just hot glued on. Sink area is TINY. Barely any room to get ready.
Elevator issue is especially true at breakfast, lunch, and dinner time. Stairs aren’t easy to find. I won’t be staying here again, unfortunately. It needs major upgrades to be competitive for Hawaii prices.

Overall, it was a nice hotel to stay. The building is always clean, and the staff is respectful whether they're at the front desk, cafeteria, or valet guys. Valet parking is available to all guests who stay. The valet guys are some of the coolest staff who work here and always show up with a smile on their face. One thing I would say, is I had a package for a flight and hotel stay, and I thought breakfast would be complimentary as it did say it was part of it but I was wrong it seems. Room service does a great job of replacing and cleaning things in the room, Personally, I did not lose anything or have anything missing during my stay compared to other reviewers. It is a shame we can't access the rooftop for the sunrise in the morning as all the rooms are either facing away from the sunrise or the other buildings are blocking the view.

Friendly staff. Close to conventional center.
Outdated, small elevator. No bathroom fan. Moldy smell in the room.
Barely acceptable with 50000 points/ night without any tax/fees.
Parking is $55.5/day. Dining credit will cover around half of the breakfast.

One of my worst hotel experiences.
I was Hilton diamond for over ten years when I traveled for work. This property would be downgraded and sold off to an econo lodge operator in any city in the United States that isn’t Waikiki.
From a management standpoint, they downgraded us to a double queen room which is very irritating when you pay for a king. At the moment I was checking in, I could still book a king room on the website. So they obviously oversell and take our money and just hope for the best.
The room was cramped and old. The toilet ran all night. The elevators are unusable in the morning. Every time it opened, it was full of people. One of the elevators had a cart from the cleaning staff in it unattended.
There’s a translucent window between the bathroom and the room. Great for seducing a partner on a honeymoon. But with two queens, this is a family room and that’s creepy. Also, don’t bother trying to sleep in if someone wants to shower.
The resort fee is an absolute greedy cash grab. I don’t care that all hotels here do it. You get nothing for it that you wouldn’t get at a Hampton inn in green river wyoming (except that the Green River Hampton Inn is actually really nice compared to this doubletree).
As consumers, we really need to hold Hilton properties in desirable locations to the higher standards we do in the states.

This place was OK, nothing out of the ordinary. It was close to where we needed to go so I would stay here again if the price is right.

There was so good!!

Located about 1-2 km from the core area of Waikiki Beach, the facilities are a bit old, and the service staff did not smile. Breakfast coupons are used, and the variety is a bit limited. In short, it is still okay from a cost-effective point of view

It’s not bad, but for the price they charge they wouldn’t offer complimentary water unless you are Hilton honor member…

Location was great but It was just too touristy for me. Everywhere was busy. Next time, I would prefer to stay somewhere a little less touristy. Also, amenities are only open at certain times of the day so you have to move from place to place.
